I'll suggest a couple of worthy arcs:
Dhahabu Kingdom and the Indelible Curse of Hate: #367872
Dhahabu Kingdom and the Unfathomable Nightmare of Sand: #453511 -
There is no way to make people who don't want to read interested in stories (except boosting rewards for story arcs), but there are ways to make finding the stories easier. Like, for example, a special tag for "story arcs" as opposed to, uhm... let's call them "training arcs". If all farms were filtered out on default searches it might help people actually looking for stories.

While we're talking about shapeshifting travel powers, can we have a "turn into a bat" flight power that disallows all other powers (but doesn't turn toggles off, just suppresses them), with a near-instant transformation animation?
-
Not intimately and definitively enough to prevent the Incredibles to use the same kind of ice slides for Frozone, apparently. Just doo eet!

Congratulations, Mystic Fortune!

Important: don't try to craft the Lost Cure wand in the Crafter's Café... the salvage will disappear but you won't get the wand. Everything else works fine though.

Resubmitting:
Arena: (#456200)
Gladiator fights in the arena have degenerated into a propaganda tool in the cold war between the U.S. and the Rogue Isles. You have been assigned as security during the World Championship in St. Martial.
The arc is intended to supplement the anemic official Soldier/Widow arcs so it works best for VEATs and other villains loyal to Arachnos, or people pretending to be loyal to Arachnos. -
We have shards (points, zero dimensions) and threads (lines, one dimension). Next will be discs (two dimensions) and blocks (three dimensions). A natural conversion rate progression would be 1 block = 6 discs = 24 threads = 48 shards.

Click 1 2 3 4 until they fall down.

I don't think he's in it. I had to remake him for one arc I used him in. Fortunately he's not using any special costume pieces.
-
If it needs reconfiguration: make Oni into a debuffing machine and give it Trick Archery powers.
And make it look like a proper ninja, dammit. -
Mention of Null the Gull.
"Just wait until you see X"
Freebie: your question(s) are ignored.
Someone asks about PvP or bases, again. -
Quote:Wasn't really concerned with how we stop them. I'm more annoyed with the fact that the prisoners phase is a break from the usual game mechanics while at the same time being less fun.Remember its COH.. nothing ever dies here I open up with my automatic weapon. I fire grenades at you, set you on fire with my flame thrower and when your health reaches zero you are magically teleported to medical facilities, healed and then sent back to a prison cell.

Well for one, BAF, unlike Lambda, isn't too full of ******** non-game activities like avoiding fighting enemies while punching boxes to get temp powers that will confuse the below average intelligence quotient of the participants.
Instead it is just full of ******** non-game activities like putting escaped non-combatant prisoners back in their fascist-state brainwashing mind-control-prison by punching them repeatedly instead of, oh, I don't know, rescuing them and bringing them back to Primal Earth for deprogramming.
Fortunately the escaped prisoners part of the BAF is quickly over and done with and doesn't involve dying over and over and getting lost in lag-inducing weird warehouses and laboratories trying to find way-too-tough crates and clone vats to smash.
If these trials had been created in a manner that suits the genre we would not be running around looking for the counter-agent to portals or Marauder's super-rage within the confines of the very place Marauder is set to protect, but we would instead be planting super-bombs or computer viruses to destroy the facility.
We would also not be fighting the brainwashed prisoners but their armed and very much in control escorts who are slowly trying to bring them out of the prison before we can destroy the robotic wardens. When we defeat the entire escorting group we can lead the grateful prisoner to a portal leading to Primal Earth where they will be treated by the best Arachnos Fortunatas and Longbow Empaths we can muster, to break their programming. -
My computer is just about 18 months old and can handle everything else in the game except the trials without difficulty; if I don't go on a trial I can play for several hours without crashing, if I don't switch characters or change zones too often. And all other games I've got work just fine.
Keyes wasn't particularly laggy for me but we did have some mapserving going on. I blamed the map because it seemed a bit larger and busier than the BAF and Lambda. -
They didn't as far as I know. I PMd the leader to let them know I couldn't rejoin but I didn't get a reply. I'll try that next time.
-
I just crashed halfway through the trial.
When I logged back on I tried to rejoin the trial. It failed and said:
"Error: Instance could not be found. It may have been completed or abandoned."
The trial was still going on, however.
Other people on my league had experienced the same thing before I crashed, and other people in the RWZ reported the same thing happening on other leagues and trials.
I could accept the constant crashing every 30-60 minutes (the shorter period during trials) as long as I had a chance to rejoin and continue playing but now it seems I will never be able to finish a Keyes trial. The hordes of enemies and the intricate maps eat memory even faster than the BAF and Lambda and I will probably never be able to finish a Keyes without crashing. If I then can't rejoin I won't be able to ever get the rewards. -

Add either slow fly speed or jump height to Whirlwind and let it be (another) way for speedsters to get more vertical movement.

Congratulations, Wrong Number, and thanks American Legion for running the contest.
