Hard to say. We've got new maps now and then but who knows if it's because they were requested in this thread? In any case, it can't hurt to ask.

And on that note I would like to formally request all the new cool maps from the SSA arcs. As if you devs didn't know already.

Windows on the side of the bunkers, opposite corner to the small side-door. They are clickable but if you don't have high enough stealth they just pop up something about not being able to enter.

But we only saw 'Jean' in cut-scenes that our characters never witnessed. Since our characters never saw him they had no reason to tell us who he was. They could have had a black screen with captions on it instead of the cutscenes if they wanted to, or even no cutscenes at all. I would have prefered cutscenes which actually had something to do with my character, but it is what it is.

Our characters might have recognized him during the negotiation fight, or might not since he was out of costume. Manticore certainly did but he wasn't sure which side he was on until it was too late.

  9. Wow.

    Hope for Gadgeteer AT improving.
  10. I'm not sure if there is anythign to do about it.

Moving away from the rest of the league is for their benefit - if you get away from them only you will suffer. If you stand around you can possibly wipe the whole league.

It would be great if the big blue smurf in Ouroboros could tell us helpful things about the special attacks that these monsters have, if we go talk to him. The big flashy messages that pop up on the screen aren't very informative. I'm being targeted? I expect my enemies to always be targeting me, how is this different? Etc.

Good. The previous method was annoying.

That's a big part of why I didn't care for this trial, or for the halloween event in general; the silliness of it all.

The Banners and the Zombie Invasion are fine, those are actually "spooky" and "scary" with the sky going dark or red. They aren't actually scary of course but at least they aren't silly, unless you count the idea of heroes causing giant monsters to spawn so they can beat them up for rewards as silly. I do, but I can accept that as a mechanical issue.

Trick or Treating is too silly for me. Kids stuff, so to speak. It doesn't make any sense either, it's too meta-gamey.

And then there's the trial. I had high hopes for it but I've only played about half of it (I joined an ongoing trial) and that was just to unlock the murder of ravens CCE. What I saw in that brief time was enough to turn me off from trying the rest of it.

Doctor Kane was just as "hilarious" a character as Doctor Brainstorm. In fact, now I'm wondering why they had to make a new mad scientist for this. Why didn't they use Doctor Brainstorm, or give Doctor Creed a new job since they changed Mercy?

The Halloween event is my least favourite of the special events because it's just too much silly and not enough scary.
  13. "Project Dragon" would have the music from "International Karate Plus" or "Enter The Dragon". Personally I go to a youtube playlist with different versions of the IK+ soundtrack and listen to it while I play.

"Arena" was based on "Chess", and its soundtrack is the original cast concept album.

"Et In Arcadia Ego" is about my character "The Dreamlord" and his personal soundtrack has always been Coil's soundtrack for the Hellraiser movie, and that would suit the arc quite well I believe.

I'm not sure about the rest of my arcs.
  14. Who Will Live?

Lord Recluse is sick of his lieutenants being idiots and decides to make them degrade themselves for his amusement. Also, to kill all of them except one. The "winner" will be forced to do all the stupid missions the Destined Ones once were stuck with, like Willy Wheeler's crap and Hardcase, leaving the people who can get things done (the PCs) free to get things done.

Since the villains can see the benefit of getting rid of three out of four morons, they gladly enter the fray to make sure that the least powerful and most useless of Recluse's goons gets out on top.

Meanwhile, heroes all go "the Rogue Isles still exist?" and continue preparing to fight the Coming Storm, as if nothing has happened.

You can quit making posts like these and make it seem like something's wrong and needs to be fixed.
  17. I can't wear a fez on top of my brain-jar.

This oversight must be corrected immediately.
  18. Oh look it's this thread again.

I think the term should be "Target Practice" since the enemies in a typical farm mission hardly fight back.

    Maybe "No Danger Room".

    How about "Bring Purples"?

They could be called "Training Missions", like training wheels on bikes.

Or "Inspiration Practice". They could actually teach people to use their inspirations. I've been on teams where people actually die with full inspiration trays. Start using those pills dammit! For that purpose these missions actually provides a good lesson.
  19. Nominating for best heroic/vigilante arc:

"The Ouroboros Chronicles: the Tales of Nemesis" by @Neon Rider
    Arc ID: 522236
  20. I'm sure that this is what most people were expecting to see when the MA was first mentioned. It'll never happen now but let's dream some more:

Since zone tech now allows contacts to appear or disappear on the fly, MA contacts could be hidden until an arc was selected in the UI, and they wouldn't have to be the "real" contact. In each zone you might have something like 3-5 AE contact spots. When you select an AE arc in the interface one of these spots shows up as your contact. You could have Sister Psyche as the contact and instead of having to go to the hospital in Independence Port you would simply go to one of the places in the zone you are in where AE contacts show up.

When creating the arc the author would be able to connect a mission one of a selection of suitable doors anywhere in the world. This would probably be accomplished by starting the arc in "edit mode" which is similar to test mode but allows for changes to be made on the fly. When a mission starts the author simply goes to the door they want the mission to use and clicks on it. A confirmation popup uh pops up, and then that mission uses that door from then on. Next mission, same procedure, until all the missions have been connected to doors. Choose a tram station as the mission door and any tram station will work for the mission. Etc.
  21. It's supposed to reset only if you hit something.

If you miss everything it shouldn't reset.

It seems to work like this for me so I don't know what's been happening to you.

Story arcs can take hundreds of hours to create. Making another clone of a popular farm takes 15 minutes if you waste time making up new costumes for the custom mobs. Since time is money, story arcs are clearly worth more. Story arcs are also more rare since the farms are easier and faster to make and everyone can make them.
