I was tempted by Body Mastery for the Conserve Power and Focused Accuracy but I think I might go for Ice Mastery on my Ice / Mace tank to stick to concept. Anyway, Ice Storm & Chilling Embrace should be pretty sweet

Started an Ice / Mace in I6 - still playing it. End issues are a pain, but the strengths are there. More fun than the stoners and a bit quicker in teams too (unless it's kin, true ).

Team up with Fire tankers and you get the best of both worlds!

Though today on Union I had a nice little pvp fight. Corruptor started, I finished, no banter, no insults, no OMFGOSHWTF you're using inspirations!!11 - just a quick skirmish. Even a passing scrapper left it be after realising I had the upper hand and went back to his own business.

I have a dark / regen little scrawling stalker - hoping to make it a 'everything or nothing' build that focuses on being a hiderance in PvP than a real threat and a powerful multiple mob fighter in PvE.... I'm mad.... :3

Some of the US Hami farmers (specific SGs, I forget which ones) use a strategy of end draining Hami to oblivion so he cant do anything, I wonder if this may be a strategy we may want to test at a later raid (assuming we can get enough drainers, if not Im sure plight would be happy to try soloing hami

edit: I have a pvp capabale tank on union now so I can find out if it's the place to be - so far the worst 'abuse' I get is someone going '...' when I leaped heedlessly into a fray between a brute fighting about 6 Shivans and started hitting him... ahh... shamelessly annoying him, but he was ugly, in my defence.

Hmm... I propose that a handful of holders concentrate on holding back the other AVs - not causing any serious damage *just* holds, slows, immobs, etc to make the assaults on GW a lot smoother. You can't ignore the dozens of people who get smited as soon as Scirroco turns up, and Mako is a pain in the jacksie for slowing down and immobilizing the squishies.

In the case of more than 2 AVs showing up, which happened several times last night and I assume the people not following Kin's instructions were either immobilized / held / incapacited or distracted by the other AV to actually concentrate on GW. TBH - I couldn't target her half the time because of the crowd around her, so I threw a couple of holds at Mako and his chums in between sniping.

As far as first time big raids go, I doubt it could have worked out any better. There would have still been the folks who rushed in and started ahead of everyone else, but smaller raids defo; I doubt many will feel the need to take on the AVs large scale again, but for SGs and VGs this is a good way to earn salvage and prestige. Smaller raids organised between a coalition would probs go a lot smoother and have less downtime than the fairly laggy and split up attack the other night.

For any of the VG leaders out there, my Union villian could do with a base to scurry back to. I (kind of) roleplay him, since he is a bug.

A lot of other players are in the same boat as you, and normally after a new issue comes out, there's a few problems with server wide lagging and downtime with map discons all over the place, BUT!

GW was a pain, but Scirroco managed to always come in and blast a good deal of folks away, and Mako was annoying as well.

Could have went better, but I think most got the badges and whatnot and got closer to that final debt badge
