I'm not so sure. I'm considering taking Presence on my brute, but I think I single taunt, single fear could be insanely useful in situations that could involve say, two hero players in Siren's Call - fear one, taunt and placate the other.

No, but I'm up for smashing my elec / elec hands against you with my sub par blapping, hoping that one day, knockback will gret past rooted.

And then there's just times when everyone just smashes the hell out of each other, which I prefer to duels anyway.

Unfortunately, I'm going outside for a bit, and I have the memory of a goldfish.

It just seems unfair that when the numbers are uneven, and someone offers the idea of duels (they normally happen before logging off from all sides occurs) that someone will come along, despite knowing what's happening, and disrupt, with the argument, 'it's PVPPPPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE'

I've been to arena once or twice. No one is in there, looking for someone to come along and duel them. I don't know how to enter arena matches, and I'm pretty damned sure that I can't fight villians in arena either, and I'll be damned if I sit down in Talos Park trying to explain to the one person how to do it.

It got to the point where I felt I had to send a tell to my target asking if its ok to attack them (didnt do that though). For all the huff and puff about it, there's nothing to stop duellers from a RP view or game point of view, aside from the occasional meandering soul who just wants to fight something, even if it means breaking up that pitched battle between two players with a group standing there, watching...

PVP can either be great fun or painfully boring / pointless right now, and a universal hate of stalkers, unless you play one, isn't enough.

Just hit them untill they go away.

For duellers, wait your turn, then hit them. Harder.

When pvp first started off in these zones, drones still gave you debt. So cue much weeping and gnashing of teeth with general chaos ensuing around drones. Take away debt from drones, and then you have stalkers entering the hero hospital wantomly killing with glee. So make more drones, and make it possible so they see stalkers! Whee!

This is where we are now. While I'd like to see actual winnable objectives, not just some progress bar resetting when it gets too far to the left or right (no badge? no SO? no message? no nothing, apart from the control of some temp powers?), this is probably the best setting for pvp right now, untill the new 40-50 zone comes out and a good deal of the regulars come along.

Wormholers and runners will always exist, since it is a viable strategy. RUN AWAY! or THROW YOU INTO THIS ELECTRIC FENCE, bwha! kind of thing.

Smashing and Lethal, hmmmmmmm

not to mention stuns, impressive damage from a flamethrower, knockback - it's a bag of tricks. It's also got an increased base accuracy, so that helps with lower level slotting for enchancements.

I'll be waiting to beat up on elec / whatever / elec brutes, anytime.

Just wondering in teams with WSs and PBs, it's always possible to be up against potentially team wipe enemies such as the Dwarf hanging out with the Fake Nemesis.

Since everyone is obviously going to go straight for the big glowing thing that looks pretty, I wondered what the best ways, apart from simultanious Build-Ups and snipes/nukes/crushingly devasting scrapper crits, are to dealing with Kheldian mobs.

ie; resistances, aggro, etc.

Currently thinking of a possible regen which has it's clicks bound to a series of messages as follows;

'Oh,'

'Look'

'At'

'Meh.'

Got too used to blasting before starting a tank, when I needed to be coaxed into taking alpha, holding the aggro and then keeping said aggro. And not running. Took a while, but I never got spammed or tells to that effect.

Good practise for scrapping though; actively encouraging you to try and get yourself killed? Cool.

I prefer Warburg because of the resulting fracas of everyone going 'sod it' and jumping in with either a mate or their sg, or on their own. Because it's just mad, there's even less point to going on the 'dos and don'ts' about actively hunting other players with the intent of GBH like some genetic clone of a Brussels rep and a UN pen-pusher.

I have Power Sink and Stamina, and have very few problems, and I'm working on a build that will continue fighting straight after a Thunderous Blast. I do think I should be able to work with Shocking Grasp though, but it will probably be at the expense of a melee attack, which is part of the whole surviving after a Thunderous Blast. Hm.

Not sure; a corrupter without stamina is perfectly feasible if you think along the lines of strike first, get health down, Scourge carries it in your favour.

You won't be winning fights against Scrappers or Tanks anytime soon, but then again, not many ranged ATs with or without stamina are.

I have a brute stuck with a bugged mission, so it's currently on the shelf.
