    Thanks for the feedback everyone. Since it's a mixed bag so far I'll probably just play around with things through the levels and respec out of whichever I decide to axe in the 40s.
  2. I'm planning a KM/Shield Scrapper. I'm skipping Confront and Repulsing Torrent. I'd like to drop one more thing from the Primary, so I can get deep enough into the Fire Ancillary for Fireball. I'm taking all of the Secondary and my heart's pretty set on the other pool choices I have in mind. (CJ/Flight/Hasten/Whatever-from-Fighting-that-will-not-be-on-my-bar-anyway/Tough/Weave) Yes I know I could do without travel and yes I know I could benefit from a heal, but I also know what I like

    So, if you could either make a case for what else is skippable, or convince me I don't want Fireball as much as I think I do, I'd appreciate your time. Thanks!

    The Devs Hate...

    The Devs hate getting paid less than the Stars;

    And the Devs hate the way they 'drop in' to bars!

    But they love Pepsi Light! Refreshing Pepsi Light! That little touch of lemon makes it taste so right! Yeah they hate most everything but they LOVE Pepsi Light!!
  4. My Warshade is planned as a Tri-Form. I'm looking at power pools just because enhancement slots are in short supply. For instance I'm skipping the second two shields and some human form blasts. A blast with only the default slot is a crummy blast, but Health with only the default slot offsets the health penalty of Inky Aspect and provides sleep resistance. A toggle shield with only two slots is a pretty poor shield, but Hasten with two slots is up pretty much every time I drop back to human form, and certainly every time I need it. When I was considering going without pool powers it was the slot efficiency that was the deciding factor.

    Thanks for the guide.
  5. OOC, but about the roleplay environment, so here it lands in this forum

    In the squeaky clean heroic world of Paragon City, we are not killers or maimers no. We are defeaters of villains and arresters of the generally naughty.

    One of my new favorite toys is a Scrapper with the Spines powerset. Have you seen these animations? Impale or Spine Burst can leave three two-foot long spines dripping poison sticking THROUGH the villains. Once defeated in that fashion, I'm sure I get some pretty odd looks as I drag them in for booking.

    "Have you brought us another dead one then?"

    *looks only moderately guilty* "Umm . . no . . no, he's not dead . . . he's . . . pining for the fjords! Yes, that is it. He's Norwegian you know. They pine very dramatically." *runs off*

    Well, either that or I've got a critical care prison hospital wing named after me by now. Sometimes it just makes me smirk.
