Thank you all for the replies. This is somehting I had to think long and hard about over the last few weeks - weighing up all the options. Unfortunatly they all arrived at having to cancel subs for the forseable future.

I shall return at some point - there's only so long I can go without the spandex until I go mad with frustration ........ ermmmmm

Unfortunately, I realized I need to do much more work on this piece.

The background's depth of field is inexistent, my light sources are all over the shop and there is still lots of tweaking to be done here and there. I mean, look at the capes. Don't they look like the heaviest and thickest thing ever?

It's weird though, don't you ever get that feeling when going to bed late (3am) thinking it's done and realize the next day... Zomg NOWAI!!

I'm often complimented on my costume ideas and have been known to inspire ideas in others - Nemesis Extreme (Draxion) I'm looking at you. Also been the winner of several costume competitions under Atlas and once been given double the winning prize fund by an onlooker when I didn't win because they thought the costume was 100% better than the winner

Yea - so what I'm saying is if you do get it up and running I'll gladly help/contribute.

My PB has just hit 46 and she's been human form all the way - with no respec - and I have enjoyed every single minute of game play with her. At times it has been a challenge but thats what having a Kheldian is all about - the challenge.

Can't wait to get her to 50 and fully kit her out with IOs to see what she can do.

BTW the Kheldian story arc is pretty good to.

Like that piece a lot. A lot of action going on without being too overcrowded. Can't wait to see it all coloured.

Keep up the excellent CoK work. You realise that when all this is finished the next stage should be "City of Kittenz - The Animated Series"

I'm by no means an expert or anything but I have done a couple of colourings in the past - there is a thread here .

If you think you'd like me to have a go after seeing whats posted in the link give me a shout. I must point out it will take some time to complete mainly due to the fact I'm not a professional colourist by anymeans - but I'll do my best for you.

Well the competition is closed and with a massive turnout of ONE (thank you Tristar_MaaT for making the effort) the judging is going to be very difficult ............. NOT!!!!

For a bit of fun I have decided to run a costume competition but with a slight difference to it.

Instead of an in game competition where you bring your best looking ALT to the fray under Atlas Statue I have decided to make it online using this funky little toy http://www.ugo.com/channels/comics/h...romachine2.asp

Unfortunately I have to restrict this competition to those on the Union server. This is due to the fact I do not have any toons with enough INF on Defiant to provide the Prize fund. If anyone from Defiant has a few spare million to donate then I am willing to open up the competition in the Defiant thread also.

This competition will not only be judged on Costume Design but also Concept and Background/Biography (limited to a maximum of 350 words). Your entries can be solo characters or teams, but any team entries must have all characters of the team submitted in one single image and will be judged as a single entry.

The HeroMachine utility does not save your design in an image format so I’m afraid you will have to do a bit of print screen jiggery-pokery to get your images.

Now the rules are straight forward;
1: The final design can be made using any element of HeroMachine v2.5.
2: All work MUST be original (including character name and background/biography).
3: Teams to be submitted in one single image.
4: Background/Biography limited to a maximum of 350 words.
5: Post your entry in this thread with a link to your image (using your preferred image host).
6: Any entry deemed as obscene, inappropriate or plagiarised by the judges will be disqualified.
7: Competition is open from 3.30 pm (GMT) Monday 17th March 2008 and all entries must be submitted by 6.00pm (GMT) Friday 21st March 2008. Any entries submitted outside these times will be disqualified.
8: Winners will be announced in this thread by 9.00pm Tuesday 25th March 2008.
9: The judge’s decision is final.

And now for the prizes;

1st Prize – 6 Million INF to a toon of your choice on Union.
2nd Prize – 2.5 Million INF to a toon of your choice on Union.

Well I gave in, bought the wedding pack (after seeing a screenie of the bridal dress & 'plus' designs posted by Mother) and altered the look of one of 'Angel of Paragon's' costumes. I must say the hair veil makes an excellent cape alternative. It took a while to leave Icon from all the attention Angel was getting then off I popped to Atlas (yes it was a blatent move to showoff ) where I got involved in a cossie comp .... and won - 3.5 Mill inf richer in my pocket.

So despite my earlier reservations about the pack I am now currently enjoying it and wondering who to delete from my toons to make way for some new ideas in my head

EDIT: Okay. I have now calmed down after my first shock at this. Have now seen posts of the costume items along with the statement that the wedding pack is not time limited to the event so I may just look into purchasing it. The costume items will work very well with a number of my toons. I just hope this doesn't turn into a slippery slope of making us pay for content like this in the future.

Just spotted this TsumijuZero and FrIce will be along to raids that RL will permit. It will be good to get out there pushing back the invasion. I always enjoy your raids. Time to visit Icon for a raid friendly suit.
