I like it. I want to have all Vigilantes and Rogues so I don't have to swap toons to do something, when I'm obviously on the toon I feel like playing at the time. So, anything to make it more worthwhile to do so is a bonus. Good idea.

If that's true, I'm glad. I used to be able to team with people at all times of the day, and many of them were from the U.K., Australia, and New Zealand. Now there are many dead times on the servers, and they are of course, the hours that I can play.

Very nice work. Also, nice eye candy to keep me interested.

Quote:I hate it too. It happens when I'm trying to do something at Wentworth's/Black Market, when talking to a contact, leveling, or trying to enter the train station. I loved it when they removed the accept thing. Why did they bring it back? Are there people who don't want buffs?Seriously.
I'm over it.
I can't use the market, the train station, a trainer, a vendor, waiting in front of a mission door, a SF contact - anything - without someone whipping by and "reading my fortune" & making that accept window pop up over whatever I'm doing.
It's driving me loco. Let it go, people. It was cute when it came out. I'm going to start gunning down people that do drive-by-readings. -
I have a WP/SS tank that started out as a "scranker", and I only made him because brutes couldn't come blueside and scrappers don't get superstrength, but he has turned into a nice tank. The regen from Rise to the Challenge and laying on the Taunt button has allowed me to be the main tank on a few of the big TFs. I haven't Tanked Lord Recluse yet, but with the Incarnate stuff and as I eventually get him fleshed out with IO sets, he will be able to take most of the game's challenges.
I won't bother posting a build because he's only slotted with basic IOs at the moment, but I did take the tough and weave to toughen him up. -

I've never done either Numina or Ice Minstral, so I'm looking forward to doing both. I'm enjoying the WST thing because people are constantly doing TFs that I never got the chance to participate in before. -
I have one up to lvl 50 (+1) and am now looking to flesh him out with IO sets to really make him a badass, or at least attempt to do so. Can anyone post a build? That one's the only stalker that I've ever leveled so I'm a bit of a n00b with stalkers.

I'd bet if the guy spent all the time/money to make his apartment into some kind of Ultimate Sports Den including part that looked like a football (American or otherwise) locker room, no one would comment negatively at all.
Sports geek = Cool and socially acceptable. Sci Fi geek = Sad nerd and social pariah.
Society sucks. -
The happy ending that he sold it was cool, but the assertation that the guy's wife left him due to his Star Trek fixation, and his ensuing "geek out" is a bit sad.

I'm uninterested. I hate all the CGI-fest movies.

I feel like a loser when playing my 50s that aren't level shifted when there are those with the (+1) on the team.
I was feeling the pressure to get all my 50s level shifted and I wasn't enjoying things, so I just focused on getting one to the top, so to speak with the paragon alpha enhancemnt, and just play the others when I feel like it. I have noticed that there aren't that many people doing regular missions anymore, at any level, so it is frustrating to have lower level characters that I don't play because I'm almost certain that I won't be able to team with anyone with them. -
I'd go with the zombies. Out of what's available, I think they might appear to be the most alien.
Of course, an alien from an advanced race would probably have sophisticated tech, so robots would probably fit best with the alien theme, but not the living soldier one.
I've never had one, but I could imagine the phantom army from Illusion Control looking like a living alien army. -
My very first toon was a ss/inv brute named "Forefinger" but was a Lobo clone. Ahh. Good times. My first 50 and my only toon for a very long time until I had to make a mastermind and then I had the two of them for a couple of years.
-
What's rude and funny is that I've been wanting to make an Ultra-Mega-Man toon!

I deleted my very first toon, a ss/inv brute, which was my very first to 50. I had done several respecs after getting him to 50, and he still wasn't what I thought he should be so I deleted him out of frustration. I still regret it because of the nostalgia factor and because nowadays there are IO sets and stuff that could have filled in the gaps if only I'd kept him in mothballs.

I'm excited about this. I've quit collecting the monthly comic, but intend on catching up via trade paperback once the current arc is collected. It's a big letdown that Bendis has let Powers slip due to all the other work he's doing for Marvel, but I'm still excited about the possibility of a Powers show.

I'm a huge fan of Batman: The Brave and the Bold. I hope it's not nearing the end of the series.
I wish that I'd have watched The Batman when it was actually on, but I think my son was too young, or not around yet. He's 4. -
He tried to look like Conan the King here:
except for the water bottle....
