Loki knows Earth is the home of Thor's love interest. (There was scene where Fury and Coulson talked about how they sent her into hiding) If he conquers the Earth he can track her down and use her to get Thor to surrender and kill him. Most likely after using her to torture him. Thor's death would torture Odin and could send him once again into the sleep which would further weaken Asgard and make it more vulnerable to attack.

This is one of those topics the devs have repeatedly said will not happen. We again asked the devs just a few months ago about offline SG invites and we were told that if they ever added such a feature they would deliberately code it so we could not send invites to our own characters on the same account.

Uhm, Just want to point out that your logic here is faulty. Paying a subscription does not give you the right to make suggestions in this game. Everyone that plays the game has that right bestowed upon them regardless of whether they are a paying customer or if they play for free.

No that 5 person minimum stupidity is reserved for other MMO's. Our devs wisely chose not to inflict that imbecilic bs on us.

I knew a guy in the Navy that was brought back and was dishonorably discharged almost 10 years after he got out of the service because his paperwork wasn't done right and he wasn't "legally" discharged.

He got a civilian lawyer to fight it but I don't know how it turned out.


I know another guy that got sent to Captain's Mast for getting sunburned while out doing small boat ops. The charges were for being out of uniform and destroying government property (his skin).

The application of the UCMJ can be messed up at times but still be "legal".

Yeah but if we go by the movie he was legally a deserter because he chose to crash the plane to get out of a date with a smokin hot babe he was scared of getting involved with, during wartime.

He could have safely ditched the rest of the rest of the bombs in the ocean.
He could have turned the plane around.
He could have flown back to Europe.
He could have looked for a parachute.
He could have tried a water landing off the coast of England, France, or even the US.
He could have tried landing the plane while being talked down over the radio.

They shot deserters back then so at the very least now he should get tossed in a military prison and dishonorably discharged.

Of course that's "if" we go by the movie.

The circumstances for his being on ice were unusual but it's not like he deliberately crashed the plane in the Arctic to get out of going on a date with a smokin hot babe. There's no way he could have turned the plane around and ditched it in a warmer climate near Europe, or even been talked down into a safe landing over the radio.

People that want to play with friends on different servers make characters on those servers that they can play ahead of time. They also make use of global channels, friends lists, etc so they can easily keep in touch with each other.
