Before it got sidetracked that is.
    You like bacon.
  2. Symbols (like the Chest Details) that we can put on the backs of Jackets.

Loving the new Retro Sci-Fi Space and Halloween Helmets, but is it possible to allow us to choose different faces/heads?

    Skull Helmet

    Larger variety of tattoos

Can't speak for anyone else but I'd love to be able to use the Boxer Shorts with Monsterous Legs.

Expanded prosthetics for Legs/Boots like we have for Robot Arms. It's silly that the only options we have for legs is total replacement from the waist down, Monsterous Robot Feet, or a simple Wooden Peg Leg. It's about time we get some modern looking Right or Left Cybernetic/Robot Leg/Boot options for players that want a character with a single prosthetic leg.

A Parrot as a shoulder option.

Probably not possible but I'd like to be able to make the occasional "Fat" character.

    1. The content is 50% harder than the equivalent content Hero/Villainside.

    2. The devs went ambush happy.

    3. Praetorian content is even more oppressively linear than Villainside content.

The final nail in the coffin was when the dev opened up the ability to create every AT except Epics to both hero and villain factions. After that there was no reason to create a Praetorian character unless one wants to run the more difficult content.

I'll admit I'm guessing about him petitioning himself, but that's the only way I can think of to get an expedited mod response. No one else in the thread posted anything close to violating forum rules and guidelines, and simply posting "please delete this thread" without petitioning it, and it being offensive in some way, could leave the thread unnoticed and untouched.
  5. Pretty sure we can get reward merits by the ton from buying the super packs.

I totally didn't think of that.

Even a hot air balloon with my toon dangling underneath on a bench seat with a sputtering motor on its back.

They are having the whole Nemesis popups everywhere...
    Zeppelins would be in theme.
And you already have lots of source material from the Nemesis architecture.

The interaction software would sync with rocketboard/magic carpet as well.
From the first day I started playing I've wanted to be able to get inside the blimp they had flying around Atlas Park.

They appear to glow very faintly when I look at them. Don't know how bright they were on Beta. Then again what I'm guessing is a glow could just be the way the skin is colored more lightly around the eyes.

(Asked this in the other panther thread but apparently the fighting got the thread nuked, and my question got ignored)
The OP got his own thread nuked. In his last post he chose to post blatant insults about everyone that disagreed with him, and directly asked the mods to delete the thread. He probably petitioned himself as well to get their attention.

I could easily be wrong but didn't all the X-Men have an iconic "X" as a part of their costumes? On a belt or harness over their chest?

We aren't underestimating anything. The devs are doing the datamining and looking at the actual data and basing their decision not to run the script on facts.

Bill already corrected the rest of your post so I'll just comment on this. What goes on in the rest of the forums isn't relevant to this thread, just as what you speculate about in this thread isn't relevant to the rest of the forums.

The permanent IO license already exists in the game. It costs 27 Paragon Reward tokens to buy. If the OP had really been subbed as long as he implied from I2 to I18 he'd have accumulated 30 reward tokens which is more than enough to get the permanent license.

Even if the OP was unsubbed for a year during that time he'd still only be 4-5 tokens short of the license. So his statement that he only really dropped out when GR went live isn't remotely true. His time away from the game had to be at least a year or more.

So you only lose your name if someone actually wants it.
The program the devs use to free up names doesn't delete them. It flags the name as available. If the account holder of a name that's been flagged logs in before anyone tries to get that name he gets to keep it, otherwise the first person that tries to use the name gets it and the original character gets a rename token.

And that has nothing to do with 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 year old accounts that already had the name freed up by the devs when they ran the program the first two times. Which is what people including yourself have been arguing.

    Quote:
In regards to the quantity of names freed up, that is a related but tangential issue. But let's think of how many accounts have been created and then abandoned over the years, it builds up.

I think the fair assumption here is that for every single individual who still logs in, the game has seen more people who have permanently logged out. So even if every account only has one character and thereby only reserves one name. For each single player who still logs in, there may be three, five, ten, etc. names locked. .

Translation: Let' make silly wild *** guesses and ignore the fact that the only people with actual numbers on this topic from datamining have determined that it isn't necessary to run the program to free up names again.

Furthermore the devs are under no obligation to tell us if they run that program again. They can easily run it during one of the weekly maintenances and we'd never know the difference.

Even back when they ran it the last two times they never told us exactly which name became available, so there was no way for anyone to tell if a name they wanted was attached to an actrive account all along or if it got grabbed by someone else after it was freed.

If the devs do decide to run that program again it would be in the player bases best interest NOT to announce it just to prevent name-campers from trying to capitalize on snagging and selling names.

Anyway, those would be marked "available," whether they were taken or not.

The second time the script was run, it was those under level 6, since that's where the names *were* that were snagged. (It's wholly irrelevant that you can "get to 20 fast now," quite honestly.)

So arguing about the ancient accounts "hoarding good names" (to put it another way) is really a nonissue. If they're inactive so long that they *don't have a global,* then anything under 35 is freed up - and don't forget, for accounts *that* old, they'd also have a maximum of 8 characters on a server (COV hadn't been introduced to bump the number of server slots for those that owned both games up to 12.)

I think some people really overestimate how much is held by those "old" accounts.
    /This.

Also there's very little evidence that the names they imagine will be freed up aren't in fact being used by players who simply don't play the game on the same schedule.

I miss VIP Impish Kat already.
    It must be Rangle's fault.
  19. No. This is not the only hybrid/F2P MMO with a unique naming policy and ours is more lenient than most because unlike those other MMO's we aren't restricted to one word names. There's no shortage of names in any of those games nor is there a shortage of names here.

And the same argument BrandX made is just as valid used in reverse. Anyone that quits playing this game because they couldn't get a specific name, doesn't like the game enough to stick around anyway.

With all due respect Aett, I don't buy that at all. To me that sounds like the people your referring to are making excuses to justify not accepting personal responsibility for their actions and how they raise their kids. I believe the information on how to live healthy is readily available, people choose to ignore it.

But let's agree to disagree before we derail this thread any further. Sides I don't want you mad at me.

Of course, Loki was the one behind the bet in the first place, so in one respect he was saving his own hide. And since the stonemason was a frost giant in disguise, it all turned out well. The asgardians got their fortress, the giant got vanquished, Odin got a neat eight-legged horse foal and Loki got humiliated. Pretty typical Norse myth, really.
So your saying he got something for providing carnal services which made the horse his john while he was turning horse tricks.

Uhm Just gonna go off on a tangent and disagree with you on this Aett. Sugar isn't making anyone do anything. The country is fat because we as a society are choosing to eat poorly, not exercise, and make excuses to justify our bad habits.
