Nope. I have never assumed anyone bought their account from another player or an RMT site.

It doesn't seem odd to me that a person might not know where the respec contacts are. I rarely use respecs myself.

However I do expect a level 50 character or a level 10 WS to know how to take an enhancement from their enhancement tray and put it into the power they want to slot.

I also expect them to know how to enter a mission, how to get missions from contacts, and how to attack an enemy.

If it makes me a jerk to expect a level 50 to know the basics that are taught in the outbreak/prison break tutorials, then I'm a jerk.

99% of the questions I've been asked don't bother me and I'll even offer additional information if I think it'll help them out.

Edit: I usually respond to questions I see asked in broadcast or the help channel without ever knowing the level or vet status of the person asking the question.

Redside I avoid CoT like the plague, but I know I've fought the Tongue lashers in a paper mission somewhere so it had to be a bug.

I will go so far as to zone in and out of a map until I get a paper mission I want, so I know I'm not forgetting that I fought CoT. I flat out refuse to fight them until I'm getting missions in Nerva.

The devs just finished giving us bins with individual security permissions. A feature we've been asking for since bases were first introduced. It's very unlikely they are now going to make an item that defeats that new security feature.

You don't shop around much do you? I buy very few things at wal-mart. It has nothing to do with wal-marts supposed business practices, I can just get a lot of things cheaper at other stores. I know people who only buy groceries at walmart. Only groceries I buy at walmart is my lipton tea and whenever I need something quick to finish a meal. Everything else can be found cheaper elsewhere. Don't even get me started on Wal-Mart's meat department.

Yeah, they call them Super Walmarts, a regular Walmarts on one side of the store and a supermarket on the other side. Only reason I go there is because inside it has the closest Auntie Annes Soft Pretzel store to my home. Nearby there is also a Rita's Italian Ice, so I get all my cravings filled in one trip.

There are still Inspiration Wells, Enhancement Tables, and the Personal Storage Vault to add into his/her planned scheme.

I'm all for more Salvage allowed in the Racks, and all for smaller racks, as the ones I got are quite frankly ugly, and cumbersome to fit in.

But there are other things that require storage.

I think they need to start by increasing the number of Base Storage Items allowed. 24 sounds like a reasonable number.

I can't store, and have my Base set up the way I would like it to be with just 18. I'm already condensing Insp Storage to provide my three other Leaders a Personal Enhancement Table. And no, we aren't Hoarders/Marketeers, we use them on our toons, and store them for use on future toons.

Let's say an SG wants to use the one that holds the most items for genearl SG salvage storage, that leaves them with 9 remaining choices for storage bins.

As to the hoarding issue, it isn't necessarily a bad thing, we all save things for use later for various reasons. It doesn't mean we are trying to manipulate the market.

The devs aren't concerned what you or I hold onto. The numbers they are looking at are what 130,000+ players are saving as a group. Their decisions are based on those averages.

I'll have 60 months in August.

No offense but that doesn't make sense. The current storage bins used to hold 2500 items. If anything the new units would all have much smaller footprints because none of them come close to holding that amount. The storage capacity has nothing to do with the size of the base items footprint.

I mean, there you are, you already own everything you can imagine yourself wanting, you've filled up your vault space with salvage you hope is going to hold its value, you don't run your own SG so you can't put in enhancement and salvage stores that nobody else can access, if you walk around carrying your limit of salvage or recipes you can't get more, and you're running out of slots in the consignment house to buy and sell your goods. What are you supposed to do? You can only practically put about one billion influence per consignment house slot in legitimate bids, so if you've got 18 slots you can only raise the 2 billion influence cap to 20 billion. That's just not enough! It IS theoretically possible that something might come out tomorrow that's going to be marketing for 21 billion.

Exactly. Only times I've seen a rename be necessary is after a person's been genericed, or a names not available on a new server, and you get those renames for free.

If a person really feels the desire to change a name they can cough up the cash for it. The devs put the fees on name changes, server transfers, and respecs for a reason. To make people think twice before doing it.

An SG offers players many benefits and the fee for an SG name change should reflect those advantages.

You're (generic you're) not asking to change the name of a characters that could easily be rerolled. An SG represents a commitment of time and effort by many players and shouldn't be allowed lightly.

Considering the salvage racks used to hold 2500 items of base salvage, that should be feasible.

FASA got sued by Robotech/Macross for using for using transformable mechs and other similar designs in their Battletech game. The end result was FASA pulled all the designs questioned.
