He is getting his own account this week for when he goes back to his mother's for the winter so we can play together online from 600 miles apart!

You have two choices.

You can go to the AE building and politely ask everyone using it to go to another zone.

Or you can use Galaxy as your starter zone.

This section is for players asking other players questions. The devs rarely respond to anything here.

Can we get the floor tiles reskinned with a top and bottom so we don't have to use hundreds of substitutes to make a decent raised floor.

The new zone will be the Moon Zone and there will be underwater maps in the Moon's Sea of Tranquility.

Just go to map coordinates 512, 64, -1768 go up the ramp and walk inside. When you click on the entrance you'll get a drop down menu and you can select Atlas Park. You'll then be taken to the open sewer that Atlas has become thanks to the AE building there.

I haven't started a toon in Atlas in a while, but I have to say, I didn't take the complainers seriously until now. While I don't hate AE, or have some self-righteous problem with it, I do think its a bit excessive in its use, since it seems to be to the point where there are no lowbie teams outside of it, and by the time I15 came around, the "new and shiny" status should have been considered worn off.

An entire zone with no AE spam where you can go roll your toons "safe from the AE evil."





And yes I'm one of the ones lobbying for the AE buildings to be removed from the starter zones.

Not because of the spam or farming/Pling, but becuase too many new players have the idea that this game consists of only Atlas Park and the AE building.

Heroes were complaining of villains doing the same thing to them at the hospital in Sirens.

Suggestions that encourage bad play shouldn't be implemented either.

Basically there is no best material. You can use anything you like that gives you a flat surface. You only have to decide what best suits your needs. (what do you want the floor to look like)

Since I13 I've used desks, countertops, conference tables, coffee tables, safes, floor tiles, stone blocks, tech boxes, the list goes on.

Currently people complain when groups of heroes hover just outside of drone range over the villain base in Bloody Bay and farm villains trying to enter and leave the zone. This suggestion would only encourage that type of behaviour.

Can we get a meteor to hit the AE building in Atlas?

Is it really that difficult to believe that they aren't motivated by greed?

There are a lot of things they could have as microtransactions that players would happily spend money on if the devs were motivated by greed.

Not trying to flame you just clarify. The term "broadsword" is today popularly applied as a generic synonym for Medieval swords or freely used to refer for any long, wide military blade, however no Medieval sword, whether long or short, flat or wide, thick or tapering, was called a "broadsword" by Medieval knights and warriors.

Since there are so many types of Medieval weapons that fall under the generic term "broadsword" from dozens of countries, many of them could easily be used by a stealth oriented character.

OP: petition to have that character's inventory changed if they can do it. Otherwise, stop messing with it. Give it time and they might fix it outside of your experience - there are probably others who've jumped the gun, knowing or unknowingly.

Exactly my point. I'm not saying that the OP deserved to be punished. just that when a person sees an opportunity to do something it can have unfortunate results.

For example there was a base bug a few months ago that awarded all SG's every SG base badge. The people that chose to buy the neat little doodads the badges awarded ran the risk of losing those items and everything they spent to get them when the devs fixed the bug.

Another example is when the Magic Booster Witch Leather Top accidentally went on the live servers during a patch. The result was that the people that chose to buy it at the tailor had the costume piece removed and they lost the influence they spent on it.

I think if you drop the requirements to 1 player for TFs, it should only spawn the EB... and on top of that you should only get half the badge

Just change the rewards.

In order to get the regular rewards for doing a TF they must have the minimum number of teammates.

If they choose to do a TF with less than the minimum number of teammates, they only get drops as if the TF was a normal storyarc.

After all they want to take their time and enjoy the content, it isn't about the rewards.

No, the word "salvation" has nothing to do with what is wrong with your suggestion. You could have just as easilt used "solution" or "fix" or a host of other descriptive terms.

The problem with your suggestion is that you assumed that only forcing people to complete an AE mission would reduce farming.

Players have been running repeatable content for years in this game. There are several speed TF's that people rush thru for the rewards and to powerlevel. Forcing people to complete AE missions is no different than a speed Katie.

The only way to stop farming is to make content unrepeatable, and that is NEVER going to happen. If the devs implemented the changes it would take to stop farming it would ruin the game.

As much as some players may dislike the playstyle, farming and powerleveling will always be a part of any MMO. One of the jobs of the devs and GM's is to keep it in check by stompng hard on every exploit that crops up.

That's only your opinion. The company obviously doesn't agree, and judging from the number of people that have bought the booster, a lot of players don't agree with you either. If they did they wouldn't have bought it.

That's been in the game for 5 years. The devs call it creating a new character. You can do it 12 times per server on a basic account.

WoW which charges for it's expansions?
Guild Wars which charges for it's expansions?
Dungeon Runners which is introducing microtransactions because it's sub fees aren't covering the bills?
Champions Online which is advertising that it will also have microtransactions so it can cover it's costs?
Exteel which relies solely on microtransactions to pay the bills?


I'll admit I'm not familiar with all the MMO's, so which ones are you talking about that exist solely on their sub fees and continue to offer new content for free.
