If I'm reading this correctly yo're saying when you try to send a "Tell" to another player you are getting a confusing message that says to get the "Power Level 2 Pack".
I'm guessing that means you haven't unlocked the Tier 2 paragon rewards yet. You need to assign two Paragon Reward Tokens to unlock the ability to send tells to other players.

As long as ATO's are selling for tens and hundreds of millions of inf, I will always be willing to burn a few Paragon Rewards on Super Packs. Why waste time grinding mindless farms when I can get what I want for 30 seconds of buying and selling the stuff from the packs.
Besides my paragon rewards are just sitting there accumulating and gathering virtual dust between releases of Tier 9 costumes. Other than the packs there's nothing else I'm willing to spend my rewards on.
And that's not counting all the stuff I can get with the reward merits the packs give out. -

So the truth is that unique naming policies are an industry standard feature. -
Oh and before the inevitable "I don't want to use a foreign language for a name." whining starts. The truth of the matter is there is no such thing as a name in "English". Most of the English language is derived from words taken from other languages.

That depends on what is being asked for. The script you are referring to doesn't "wipe" any names. It merely flags the names on inactive accounts as available. If the account holder logs into the game before anyone else tries to claim a name then all the names on his account are reset as beng unavailable.
A name wipe would remove the names altogether from the inactive accounts, which is something the devs have never done.
Personally I think the OP is referring to the name freeing script which the devs have made clear they have no intention of running again at any time in the near future if ever. -
Can't say it bothers me much. My favorite Ghostbuster has always been Akroyd.
