Quote:/thisAnd now you know why I insist on paying for all my costume pieces. Because if I don't, they'll stick them behind some asinine unlock. I would sooner pay for my cosmetic additions than have to unlock them in-game. I do not consider cosmetic items as something that should be gated, and I never will. I will always prefer to pay money for them than to grind to unlock them.
So when's that Rularuu Pack coming out?
I also recall several threads where we told the devs how we'd be more than happy to pay for costume boosters because we weren't getting costumes fast enough by waiting for them to be included in the free issues. -

Quote:This would work the same way as helmets/hair does. If you have a helmet on you don't get to choose a hairstyle. So if you have a cape, backpack, or wings you don't get the option of choosing a back emblem.I know, but if you had a backpack or wings or even a cape you wouldn't see the emblem anyway, so why bother even having one? I fail to see how it's an issue. I mean, nobody cares about what hairstyle they may or may not have if they're wearing a full helmet, do they? Isn't a back emblem that would both conflict with and be hidden under a pair of wings the same thing?
There are many examples in the costume creator where your options are limited by a previous costume selection. -

Why have the temp powers drop at all? I'd much rather they be pulled from the drop tables and sold at the market or an NPC for a fixed price like jetpacks.

Quote:When that content is added the wiki will be updated to include that information. The devs have indicated that non-Trial Incarnate content may be in the works (Task Forces, story arcs, and maybe even repeatable missions). I would assume that Incarnate Shifts would apply there too.
Then again, when they were first announced, I expected Incarnate shifts to apply to Apex and Tin Mage, and was surprised to find they didn't, so maybe that won't be the case. -
An Incarnate Shift is a feature of the Incarnate System that is roughly equivalent to increasing a character's Combat Level. A level 50 character with one Incarnate Shift, for instance, will effectively be fighting as though they were level 51.
In addition to the character itself, any pets or even NPC allies will spawn with the Incarnate Shift as well.
Unlike Level Shifts, Incarnate Shifts only activate while participating in an Incarnate Trial, such as the Behavioral Adjustment Facility Trial or the Lambda Sector Trial.

The wiki is your friend. -
Why Bill did you forget or miss this thread over the "controversial" Science Booster? I think Lisar and Zombie might remember it.
(an FYI each sentence is from a seperate post the OP made in his thread.)
Quote:what confuses me is now with booster pack 3. They are introducing cross dressing.
But it is cross dressing. When ppl do drag they do there clothes and makeup to match.
i dont think cross dressing is appropriate for a game that my children or any1s child might and do play
I would say sry for actually having morals and values but i would be lying. But if you want you kids to cross dress whither in game or in RL thats not my call. I for one dont want it.
its not just me but society has a whole shuns cross dressing. like it or not but im not the minority but the majority in society
plz explain more on how standing up for what i believe and keeping morals and values intact has anything to do with common sense.

Quote:Not seeing a problem. If I'm using a cape, wings, or backpack I'm not going to be using a Back Emblem, and the reverse is true. If I'm using a Back Emblem I'm not going to be covering it up with wings, backpack or cape.the issue with back emblems is that it would be on the same slot your wings/backpack is, so when you choose the emblem you can't place anything els there.
So give us back emblems. -
Quote:/This. I need the incarnate stuff as much as I need IO sets. I'm quite happy with what I get from the basic IO's.Going by what they've done with the CoP (using the raid 'porter for it), I have serious doubts on the future of base raids.
The CoP was their "test" for the new "raid" (incarnate) content that they were working on. Personally, I think they should have paid closer attention to the data on the CoP. It was run quite a bit in the beginning, but quickly fell off in popularity. IMO, that should have been a BIG CLUE.
Nevertheless, it is obvious that the Devs have charted a course, and intend to stick to it. They are focused on incarnate content for the foreseeable future.
As for me, I am refusing to participate in it. I'll just chill out here in my little dinghy, thanks.

He can forward it up the chain to the people that actually work on that department because unlike Dakota Fanning who in no way works for Blockbuster, Paragon Studios does indeed work for NCSoft.

Kryptonite armor is useless as long as Supes keeps his distance and/or uses his head to wear something that protects him from the kryptonite radiation. Kryptonite is only effective if you can trick him into getting close enough to where it can be used on him and take him down immediately.
Better idea would be frangible Kryptonite bullets that have a lead coating. (or has lead been retconned out of blocking kryptonite radiation?) Supes won't think twice about letting a "poor dumb schmuck" empty the clip of his sub machine gun at him point blank. Of course when that happens the kryptonite bullets will perforate him, the frangible rounds will shatter upon entering his body, and shrapnel will scatter in every direction making it impossible to save his life in time. -
Either the OP has taken this to PM's with the recommended rednames or he just doesn't care about posting this in Suggestions where the rednames will see it and it would get community support, cuz I don't see it posted down there yet.
Oh well. Wasn't a bad idea. Shame to see it die lonely and forgotten. -
Only 1 out of 10 AE missions are borked? What's wrong with our devs? Surely they can bork more AE missions than that.

Quote:And this is a problem of your own creation.I typically put in either total nonsense characters or at least an answer that bears no relation to the actual question being asked for these security questions.
And the really, really annoying part is that I even know what the answer to the security question is, generally. I just don't remember the EXACT capitalization, punctuation, spelling (if I used leet speak or not, sometimes I do), and spacing of the answer.
YOU chose answers that YOU couldn't remember.
Quote:I just don't remember the EXACT capitalization, punctuation, spelling (if I used leet speak or not, sometimes I do), and spacing of the answer
The fact that 6 years ago the answers weren't used like they are today doesn't mean it wasn't important to keep a record of them. It's not the company's fault when someone can't be bothered to take a minute out of their time to make a record of their security answers, passwords, and logins.
Sorry if that sounds harsh. -

Quote:While your at it ask them if they could give us a Platypus head and an animated Beaver tail. Thanks for the reports all. We do have some updates in the works, much like we did with the Animal Pack, however I'm not 100% positive if these are on the list.
We'll look into it.
Hey, the Beaver tail could even have an attack like Brawl and slap the crap out of anyone attacking from behind. -
Quote:You are absolutely right, but what this game would need are microtransactions that players are willing to spend money on over and over.Based on the little numbers out there and various interviews I've read, it seems the incremental cost of supporting one player on an MMO is somewhat less than one dollar per month. Most of the costs of an MMO are the fixed costs of development and support and the not quite fixed but somewhat decoupled costs of infrastructure. You do not need millions of players buying booster packs for this to be profitable. Hundreds of players buying booster packs can support thousands of F2P players that don't buy things ala carte. The critical parameter is the ratio of paying to non-paying players, not the actual numbers. If they could get just tens of thousands of players signing up and buying things, even spending less than average subscribers, that would probably be a net positive gain in revenue. More is better, but this model doesn't require millions of players to turn a profit. Tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of players are plenty.
The MT's we currently have won't support the game because they either aren't things we'd need on a regular basis, or they are account wide purchases that never need to be bought again on that account. -
Argentina/Mayan that way we can get tie-ins to both Atlantis and Moon zones. The facist 5th column can have a strong influence there seeking out clues to the location of Atlantis while having a secret base that serves as the connection to their Lunar base on the Moon.

Quote:Offering lifetime subs at this point would force the game to become F2P or at the very least primarily focused on microtransactions in order to prevent shutting down within a year.I'm not sure that I'd ever do free to play but I would like to see lifetime subscription offers and way more booster packs. For them to break even they would still need people to buy booster packs eventually.
The strength of this games ability to stay profitable is it's retention of long term veteran customers and lifetime subs would generate an initial spike in profit and then the profits would crash because the income generated by those subscriptions would be forever gone.
Quote:Free to play is great for us but unless they get millions of players all buying booster packs each month or some sort of micro transaction they won't turn much of a profit and development on the game is eventually reduced and the game is shut down. -
Quote:I kind of figured you were, but there were two posts saying about the same thing, so I want all Internet Pedant and when I came to the post was already there. No intention to "call you out" or anything.
Actually the other post your referring to was the one I was being facetious about.
Now the other poster may also have been poking fun with the statement comparing hard labour to staying fit, but I couldn't resist a little teasing myself. -

I'd much rather see the devs put their resources into developing cross server teaming then transfers and renames won't be needed. -
Quote:You do realize I was being facetious right?Yeah, this isn't a day spa we're talking about here, or even pumping iron in the exercise yard. These Chinese prisoners aren't getting a "workout", they're being "worked out". That is, they're being worked to death. They aren't getting "fit", they're being physically broken.
