  1. Sorry Justice but the SCR always applies. That's what makes it so awesome.

Oh yeah, as soon as someone gets hurt heads roll for allowing people to walk/skate thru the drive thru.

Only there hasn't been any false advertising. Just a few consumers with entitlement issues.

That's more of an individual store policy. I've worked at places that flat out refuse to serve drive thru customers unless they were in/on (for motorcycles) a motor vehicle. They wouldn't even cut people on bicycles slack. One place even had a sign posted outside the window that said "No walk up service. Customers using the drive thru must be inside a motor vehicle."

Accessing any of the Incarnate content required Going Rogue. Going Rogue was not a momentary experience. It is a continuing, ongoing expansion and the incarnate system fell under its umbrella.

Again, under the new hybrid business model... there is zero wrong with dividing things up however they wish, but the incarnate system was indeed a part of Going Rogue. Just as the First Ward zone would likely be, if Going Rogue hadn't been added freely to any subscription (which is a nice thing).

EDIT: Just wanted to finish that off a bit better and a bit friendlier...
It's all good, as far as I am concerned and I certainly don't want to have any argument about it in this thread (I see now that it is a highly contested debate elsewhere, hehe).
Yeah some people are going at it like rabid ferrets that the incarnate stuff was released as a part of GR and they are being ripped off. Truly comical.
  6. So it's one of the bugs associated with the release of I21. All that can be done is notify CS and wait for the bugs to be straightened out.

No one has claimed that the Incarnate system isn't tied to the Going Rogue expansion which was launched August 17, 2010. Buying Going Rogue only bought players access to the Incarnate system once it was launched.

The Incarnate system itself wasn't added to the game until Issue 19 which went live November 30, 2010. That's three months after the launch of Going Rogue.

No one had to buy the AE edition to get access to the AE. It was free for everyone that had an active subscription.

The AE edition was merely advertising for the new feature and it came with a free booster pack (Cyborg or Magic).
  9. My vet badges have always been awarded at the time I originally stared my account. So I didn't get them until the evening of my renewal date. In my case the 9th of each month.

And Incarnates weren't a part of a paid expansion either. It was added to the game several months after GR was put on the market.
  12. Assuming this isn't just a bug that cropped up because of all the stuff being added with I21's release, any account inactivity could delay a vet badge from being awarded.

Do you recall if the account was inactive at any time within the past year? If so you'll have to wait a little longer to get the badge. If not, CS will have to look into it.

Tough turnips. The devs have told us that it invalidates all the work they put into making the game alt friendly. So get used to rolling up new characters.

For some reason I'm reminded of the time they painted the employee lounge at my one job. First off you have to imagine that all the furniture, carpet, and borders along the walls was a nice dark forest green.

Now try to picture everyones reaction the next day when they walked in to that room to see the green furniture in a room that was painted Pepto Bismol Pink.

Yes it was. They announced both ahead of time. That makes it scheduled.

Anniversary badges are for the anniversary of the game launching not how long your account has been active. They are awarded to individual characters that log in during the month of May, starting April 28th. They are not account wide.

It does look better on the red background but I'd still prefer a bright green.

Just like my saying the game could and should go f2p,
As I recall people mainly argued that if the game were to go F2P it wouldn't be "in the next 6 months" like some kept claiming whenever they proclaimed doom. It took 7 1/2 years to happen.

and that the market shouldn't delete your stuff every 60 days (yes, there actually were people defending the idea of the 60 day deletion. I'm sure they'd happily admit they were very wrong on that one).
I don't remember anyone saying it shouldn't be removed. I do remember people saying that if you lost something to the 60 day rule you had no one to blame but yourself for not logging in to reset the timer. The information on the rule was available to anyone that took the time to read the pop up window the market contact gave them. Willful ignorance is not a defense.

    From VK's notes today:

So all those people saying the devs never hid the fact that HEADSTART was a beta test . . . errr, absolutely incorrect.

Now if anyone wants to say it FEELS like one I won't argue.

But to say that the devs claimed it was a beta test or pretended like a beta test was headstart is just FALSE.
You are correct that using the term beta is wrong on our part. It is not a "Beta". That doesn't change the fact that they are using the Headstart to make sure as much as possible is working before they launch the Free/Premium accounts so those players will hopefully endure as few problems as humanly possible.
