Okay then, I'll give the show a chance.

The whole concept is doomed to fail from the get go. If they are successful they will change Earth's history, and by changing it they will never exist in the future where they had to go back in time in the first place. If they never existed in a future where they had to go back in time they will never have succeeded in creating a new society.

The whole thing would have been better off if they used some sort of parallel world explanation.

Because there are powers that would "fit" a character in the trials.

Because there's no guarantee of NOT having an important part of the story come afterward that you *really* should have incarnate abilities for, or that will penalize you to ridiculous lengths if you don't have them set/slotted (hi Tin Mage II/Apex.)

Because I bloody well want to have them but am bored to death with the exact... same... trials.... over... and... over... and... over... and... over.... which even just running OCCASIONALLY instead of the dev-mandated 20X a day grind still leaves me burnt out on.

(Note: most of the irritation in here is directed at the trials, especially at them being the only way to realistically get this stuff unlocked.)

I emphatically agree with these particular reasons from Bill's list.

In actuality (I believe THIS to the be case) the very term BUY has been misused by nearly everybody, including the Devs. We NEVER DID buy CoH, CoV, GvE, GR, or even any of the items in the microtransactions such as booster packs, character slots, etc. What we paid for in ALL of these cases, until FREEDOM was the right to RENT these things (with our subscriptions).

So it is all moot. IF we continue to pay rent for these items then we can still use them freely, within the TOS. If we do NOT continue to rent them then we have no continued rights to use them.

So, I now feel that even IF clear proof is provided that Incarnates were included in some people's GR then all that it shows is that they had the right to RENT access to Incarnates as far back as GR.

Everybody still has the right to rent them. Remember: Not a single one of us OWNS anything in the game except a license to use at the discretion of NCSoft.

Why didn't you think of this several pages ago and save us a lot of silly bickering?

While I prefer using a bat and a healthy two handed swing.

Why would they shut your store down? They can use the financial loss as a tax right off and still make millions selling poop flavored ice cream in Asia because Asians like that flavor.

It's not another dead horse if the devs never said anything about it one way or the other. Unless you know of a post where the devs said they would not consider making anniversary badges global. If so please link it because I missed it, and I'd like to see what they said.

No they don't, because it's too damn short!

    Increase the Name field.

    Increase the Battle Cry field.

And both fix and increase the Bio field!

Nothing criminal about it. Businesses raise their prices on products every single day.

The devs told us back in July that after they removed the boosters and broke them down into separate purchases it was going to cost more. So we had plenty of time to buy what we didn't have.

    1. The devs aren't against farming. They are against players abusing exploits. Players can farm to their hearts content as long as they don't break the rules.

    2. They make more money by requiring players to buy extra character slots and roll up new characters.

    3. The devs have flat out told us that not only would it require a ton of work but it undermines everything they've done for the past 7 years to make the game alt friendly.

Sadly it seems we are going to be stuck with the annoying work around until the devs change their minds. They were recently asked (in a Ustream I think) about email invites and we were told that if they ever add such a feature we will not be allowed to send invites to our own characters.

Oh and please be aware that it seems that Premium accounts can't pay base rents. Don't ask me why tho.

We don't work for CS so we can't check your account to find out. Send in a petition asking politely.

So she's going to have more money to spend on her main account rather than her secondary account.

Uhm how does that hurt the company?

    Edit: Fix'd sentence

I understand, but originally we were told that we'd get the rewards up front so if you bought a year in advance you'd immediately get a years of rewards to spend, but you'd still have to wait each month for the store points.

Then it got confusing, something from the devs that they were misinformed about how the rewards worked. I never figured out how it's supposed to work now.
