And while I think giving F2P access is likely a good thing, I don't think there's anything wrong with Paragon Studios charging them for the new sets.
This isn't a hidden charge they are being billed for that they didn't authorize. -

One thing to keep in mind is that some young children often play this game (Sister Flame). Sometimes on their parent's account. So I try to keep things in perspective and to stay civil too. "Try," of course, doesn't always work as it can be very frustrating playing with someone who seems to have no idea at all what they are doing. The closest I came to being negative was when I told the next DfB team leader about the door sitter. And when the door sitter got mad about not getting invited to the new team it was obvious from his responses he wasn't a little kid. -

Tho I don't see why the OP couldn't just claim them 1 at a time. They do give us a choice between claiming everything at once and one at a time. -

Never played minecraft so no I wouldn't be offended. I'm just glad I had the foresight to take screenshots as soon as I finished. I was in the process of building the burning ruins of a demolished castle in another large room when the base crashed. I pretty sure the problem was that I went over the item limit bases can have.
I'd have torn the darn thing down anyway after the devs "fixed" the SG symbol bug that allowed us to have blank floor tiles. I absolutely despise SG symbols on floor tiles.

Q3 2010 = roughly $5,100,000 (Note: Going Rogue was also released in this quarter)
Q4 2010 = roughly $2,900,000
Q1 2011 = roughly $2,700,000
Q2 2011 = roughly $2,400,000
This was taking into consideration *all* monies being taken, so I just went for the most expensive sub rate going (assuming all players, EU and US based are paying the same rate as well)... and that a player will not buy any boosters or character slots or server transfers...
Even going for $10/month sub rate (which i believe is cheaper than you can actually get) you only hit roughly 80K players...
((edit, the numbers are from the Consolidated Sales Breakdown by game (excluding royalties)) so from what i can gather they are basically "all monies taken before costs"....
Edit 2: Incase you are wondering Q1 = January - March, Q2 = April - June, Q3 = July - September, Q4 = October - December
Now this is what I remember seeing the number of subs to be pre-Freedom. -
Wow. The most trays I've ever used is 5, and even then I've never used all 50 the slots, despite the fact that I have nearly double the powers to put in them. I only slot what I actually use.

I honestly don't know if there is any solution to teaming with bad players since you don't know they are bad players until you're stuck on a team with them. This is going to be a perpetual problem in the DfB trial since it is like Mos Eisley, but replace "scum and villainy" with "newbs and cluelessness". They bring in too many bad, or just plain inapplicable, habits from other MMOs, and a dozen runs through DfB isn't necessarily going to cure them of that. These days, a level 16 character doesn't imply "I know how to play reasonably well," because it could just as easily be a case of "I know the DfB really well but I don't know a thing about any of the powers I got after level 2."
Right now the only tools we have to avoid such players is the "star system" and the ability to pre-form our own teams. The LFG queue isn't likely to be a viable alternative to these vital "manual" methods any time soon.
Now I won't say it wasn't possible that the person on the vet account wasn't an actual vet player but I expect a certain basic level of game knowledge from a player when I see that many vet badges. -
