The only real use I have ever had for Team TP before I dropped it was pulling along AFKers on TF missions :P
-
There is, but as was already posted that was not the case(as far as the OP noticed). That is why I mentioned the GSFC: Chance for Build Up IO, since it gives that amount of damage increase.
-
Quote:Do you by chance have a Gaussian's Sync Fire Control: Chance for Build Up IO in an active power on the Tank? If so, it will show in Mids as always being "procced". That could be what is showing the extra 80% damage. Thanks, that helped alot. Something is wonky in me build in Mids then cause the damage numbers are way too high in the tank build.
Looking again, it looks like Mids thinks I'm double stacking rage, pushing my damage up an additonal 80%, even though it's clearly set to one as the numbers I'm seeing are exactly 80% too high.
Here is the math with the tank double stacking rage.
Tanker = 0.8 * (1 + 0.29 + 1.6 + 0.95) = 3.07
Brute = 0.75 * (1 + 2.0 * 0.67 + 0.8 + 0.95) = 3.07
That also explains why I was thinking I'd need 66/67% fury to equal tank damage.
Thanks for all the help! -
I would think a personality sort of like Dr Brennan/Bones on the show Bones. Having the intelligence to understand many things, but not when it comes to actual human interaction and occasionally saying things from a clinical outlook and lacking the empathy and human understanding to not just blurt something out that could be painful or embarrassing.
Sort of example:
Random super lady:"Do these tights make my butt look big?"
A-W: "No, the clothing has no bearing on the amount of excess fat on your body, and in your case much of it has gathered in the area of your hips and posterior. Perhaps you should attempt to get to a lighter weight through diet and exercise". -
I usually won't post my builds, not out of secrecy, but out of the fact that I tend to build my characters to fit my particular playstyle and that often would not be overly fitting or even usefull to someone else.
-
Well, I made the character, but just not getting into her.
"Last Stand" the recently thawed out Soviet super soldier.
I used the single shoulder cape to get the star brooch to complete the old Soviet flag look. -
Quote:Well, unless he plays on the European servers, then it might be "defence".And if you are going to give me the defence=defense, all I can say is, in this game it is defense, at no time will you see it spelled defence.
Just saying before someone swoops in and attacks your post based on that. -
Quote:Open up a free photobucket account and you can direct link pictures from there. And then not give away your facebook ID/Info.Your not far off.
However a Leather Craftsman is someone who assembles a Saddle, gun belt, holster, binocular cases, ect.
A "Tooler" is someone who uses a hammer and many diffrent type of Stamping or Carving tools to make a design on things the Crafter makes.
I am both, though I dont make saddles, and dont plan to.
Hmmm, is there a way to pull a picturew or 2 off my facebook to show what i mean? -
Quote:Quick! Put up the Dahjee signal! *shines a light against the clouds that shows two "buttons"... "Go to Hospital" and "Go to Base"*Sooo you want him to use what an....... Ice/Ice blaster and get rekked on it because no matter how much money you put into one it would never be viable in PvP, but if it was one you would give him a build, have him waste the time in lvln it and then tell him it's a good build because it's not FOTM.
There are reasons things are FOTM and that is because they work...and he did say he didn't want it to fail miserably in his post. So plz go Dahjee somewhere else. -
I have seen some Stone/Electric brutes that are just beasts in PvE and in "fite klub" style PvP. Very good synergy in the sets.
-
I think what he is asking for is non stop attack damage, no down time, no burst, just hithithithithithit(or zapzapzapzapzap).
That said, probably what Bill said... DM/SD or FM/SD. -
Quote:I think it is more of "same character as level 50 fire/energy blaster, 50 bots/traps MM, 50 mind/psi dom, 50 dark/dark def" while they are on their Claws/Regen scrapper... and they expect you to accept that they have ALL the powers of ALL those AT's/Powersets, at the same time. You know, the "ubermensch" syndrome.I think, Flea, he(she?) is referring to people whose bios contain only "Same as (name)".
I can't read "(Name)'s" bio right now, since you're not on him. So what the heck does "Same as (Name)" mean to me? I have the same pet peeve when that's the entirety of the bio.
-Rachel-
At least, I know that is a pet peeve of mine. -
My one short story got me David Foster Wallace. Who I can honestly say I have never read a word of. :P

Disappointing, but better they remove the one feature and keep working on it than release it broken or delay GR itself until it is fixed.

A good choice for PvP?
Still leveling it up and it is fun in PvE, just wondering if it is a solid choice in PvP. -
Actually, one of my favorite ITF runs was probably one of the worst put together PUG runs I ever did... 3 Brutes, 4 scrappers and a Rad/Rad corruptor.
Certainly not the most efficient run, but there was carnage and chaos aplenty! -
60 minutes has been the norm for me with a competent team.
Have had a few much worse, but have also had several in the 22-30 minute range. Team make up will affect that a bit.
Had an all corruptor team finish it in around 50 minutes. -
Quote:Yes, the clone is a copy of the first person in, which was rather funny when I ran the arc with a couple of friends on their DP blasters, and I was on my DM/Regen scrapper. It was one of the blaster's mission, but I entered first... and just stealthed while my double beat the crap out of himCan't really say if it's WAI, but the clone is the first person to enter the mission.
As for the pink thing, pink must be your secondary color, happend to my blaster. The costume creator seems to like pink if you don't have a secondary color. -
Quote:Ugh, don't get me started on how many times I have to listen to people in channels complaining about getting killed in a PvP zone while trying to get a badge...Location PvP Zone, Objective: FIGHT !
But besides that, isn't that how Virtue likes it ? RP, swishing Tails, PvP zones in which you obtain the badges easily....
On the plus side, it is rather hilarious to cast Painbringer http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Pain_Domination#Painbringer on one of the AVs when a group is trying to collect the badges... -
There is zone PvP on Virtue, but it is fluid at best. Some nights RV is busy, with multiple teams on either side, but more often there are 3 or 4 of one side and 8-10 of the other and no one swaps to balance it out.
My favorite are the occaisional MM posses where 2 or 3 MMs each grab a heavy, then sit in one of the basins/pools with their whole team and just try to TP foe to them one at a time... never moving, never even trying to fight if they can't TP/Webnade someone... if there were any purpose or real objective in the PvP zones you could literally just walk around these people and complete it.
