Buy rather than big?
Unless the toon is in the 30s, I buy Bronze. I choose the lower end of things when the character gets into the high forties, since a number of nice Pool As that cap at 30 are fairly rare. I also like to slot the two Steadfasts and Karma -kb on nearly every alt and get them for my sg-mates, and low Bronze produce a lot of these.
Like you say, Bronze *seems* more lucrative on average. It also seems more fun to me, 'cause MORE RECIPES.

Bronze all the way. The others seem like a giant waste. The key is to know which ones to delete while you are sitting at the AE ticket vendor counter. Delete the chaff and roll more bronze. -

Ahh, that's not bad but you can find better.
My suggestion is to look at the IOs YOU want to use and start there. Usually those are the good ones that players are willing to pay a nice price for. And be patient. You make money flipping by buying stuff cheap NOT by selling it high (IMHO) -
You got lucky. A new patch cometh. Prices should start to fall... read the patch notes on test.

No, they had made it harder NOT elimiated. In fact they only really eliminated those people actually getting a drop from playing PVP. Farmers were still able to obtain the PVP IOs. -
If so we should submit Luna for some sort of CoH award or something. That pic would do it for sure!
Just a heads up the next one is the same level range so those lowbies dinging away should be all set for the CoT Trial next week (12-15) -

Great time. I really love playing my fire/mm blaster! (Thanks to Luna for recommending that one!). However, he's really squishy but I still loved dropping those AoEs! I think a good number of the deaths were me. And like fox said I was falling asleep on the last mission.
Thank you very much Luna for organizing this. This has to be a crazy to keep straight given how many people showed up. Truly impressive.

You CAN get a rep kill in the 5 min cooldown period for a match, correct. I did not this weekend but I saw how it could be done.

My understanding is that ANY attacks restart the timer. The timer does not START until the first defeat.
EX:
Player A defeats Player B .... Timer Starts for both. Player A has a 1% chance for a PVP IO Drop.
Player B attacks Player A 2 mins later ... Timer restarts for both.
Player B waits FIVE more mins then attacks and defeats A. New timer starts for both since the timer met the 5 min requirement. Player B has a 1% chance for PVP IO drop.
Also, due to the 1% drop rate for a PVP IO you should expect to average about one drop in 100 kills (with 5 mins between them). Thus dueling players could expect to play for 10 hours before getting one.
However, I received 2 drops this weekend within a lower amount of time. Thus raising the question of did they increased the drop rate or was this just an isolated occurance. After all random is random.
Also, the unanswered question is if you have a rep timer in one match then immedetly start another match. Does the timer drop off? Or do you still need to wait 5 mins from the last attack?

Yeah, while the developers have never stated their intentions, I think this *patch* really screwed PVP IO drops.
