That's pretty much a certainty. They probably decided that they need a new tutorial AND only have enough resources to fully remake once zone. With Galaxy being the far less popular starting zone, it drew the short straw for being axed and now the same thing is going to happen to Dark Astoria.

People have been asking for that to made use of for YEARS, and now they are, they're taking it away from everyone except the level 50's. IMO, that sucks and just serves to make the game that little bit smaller.

The point is, the "Coming Storm" has never really been a firm plan as far as the lore goes. It's never been anything but some vague piece of future content they wave at us from time to time, dropping hints here and there which, a year or two down the line, they'll completely contradict when they drop some more.

I don't believe we'll EVER see them before the end of the game.

That was nothing but a mechanic to add a new tutorial and intro for F2P.

Until the Coming Storm actually DOES arrive in game, it's nothing but a carrot on a stick; so get walking, Mr Donkey... Gotta follow that carrot.

We never asked for the Echo, and it's totally useless for our regular RP meets because in the game world, Galaxy City is destroyed. We can't just go back to the Echo and pretend it never happened.

We weren't even THAT pissed off at the destruction of Galaxy. We were annoyed at the complete removal of it as a usable zone, making the game smaller and depriving us of a meeting spot we'd used DAILY pretty much since EU launch back in 2005.

As for the game lore... The devs stopped caring about that a long long time ago.

Well, I dunno. Depends on the business dynamics between the developer and publisher, really. One's awesome, the other's an a-hole (can you guess who it is? )

No, they're not BIG problems. Big problems I can deal with.

What they are, are lots and lots and lots of little problems that just go on and on and on and never ever get sorted out. Those are much harder to deal with as they build frustration over a LONG period of time until something finally has to give.

Nor mine either, and for me it's now reached the point where I can only really do one thing and vote with my wallet.

It's not a ragequit, I'm not raging; quite the opposite in fact. I'm not even really completely quitting, I'm just dropping to Premium. I actually feel really really sad that it's gotten this far, but c'est la vie. PS have made this bed we must all lie in, but I'm sick of paying for dreadful room service.

First try, I seemed to go into some kind of AE mode, didn't exemp down, couldn't open the door. Had to quit and restart. Lame.

Second try, got defeated, went to hosp, came back, click door, game crashed. Lame.

This is not an action someone like Zwil would ever consider doing.

Scared of them? No.

Creeped and weirded out by them? Yes.
