Same ISP != same routing. -
Chances are far higher that it's a routing issue somewhere near the server centre.

Nice of you to blame NC, when from what I can see, it's not actually anything to do with them. They're not responsible for all the points your connection goes through between your home and their servers you know.
Like I said earlier, MY connection is perfectly fine. I can log in, disconnect, log in again, all without any delays, as normal. Therefore the problem is highly unlikely to have anything to do with the game servers. -
Also on Virgin Media, and still connecting instantly. Also, Thyristor, I'm just up the road from you in Aylesford.

Because it's an additional layer of red tape on top of the aggravation they ALREADY get. NC themselves already said they wouldn't be making any more official forums because of the extra workload it causes, and indeed, they didn't with Tabula Rasa. This is just going to add yet another layer of workload for them and will probably just push other companies over that "More trouble than it's worth" line.
Not that it's a bad legislation, it isn't. I just think it'll be a line of effort the games companies won't bother to cross; some at least. -
CoX shouldn't be affected by this, but I -can- see this being an end to official game forums in the future...

Peacebringer, just because its so damn frustrating to play, i like the attacks in human form, but i hardly ever get chance to fire them because as soon as i get anywhere near melee range im stunned and forced into dwarf form, which isnt as good as a tank so your basically playing a rubbish tank or a rubbish blaster squid.

I've yet to have a quick look at patch notes to check, but I'm pretty sure I remember a patch updating a lot of the textures to higher resolution ones. I only started early 2006, so this would have been some time after the release of CoV - my hazy memory guesses at late 2006 or maybe early 2007.

Well, so far today we've had about 4-5cm where I live... Today was the "light snow showers" forecast, and there was a near blizzard this afternoon. Wonder what the morning will bring, with it's "heavy snow" forecast!
