All we can really do is petition it every time it happens. Even though they just make just jump through the same old hoops, and in the end, nothing ever actually happens to fix it. They just blame our PC or internet connection.
  2. Why did the US get a DXP weekend without the EU getting one in the first place?

An ancient Camelot zone would get my vote! With Merlin and Morganna le Fay etc. Would fit in nicely with the Midnighters too, I reckon.

Plus, we already have medieval style armours and weapons/shields in the game!
  4. I've been getting it inconsistently too.

It's not necessarily the servers at fault, it's the infrastructure in Europe, especially centered around the datacentre where the servers are hosted.

Really, they need to relocate the servers to a datacentre with a better local infrastructure. Would do wonders for everyone's connection, but nooooo.... Put it somewhere that offers the bandwidth they need for a low low price! Right.

Sometimes it's as bad as the lag on EU launch week, and THAT was so bad they gave us all a few days free play time because of it!

  9. Personally, I'd rather they just get rid of mob levels altogether. Apply the invasion mob conning code to all mobs, so that they're always SOME kind of a threat.

Just because you're 10 levels higher than a mob does not mean that suddenly his bullets don't hurt, and that arresting him won't earn you some gratitude from the city.

Only if you're a US account holder. If you're an EU player, tough. No i16 beta for us.

Nope. We're still here, wondering what the hell you guys are smoking...

BTW, not only is there beauty in a croc, there's also a nice pair of boots, a belt, a jacket, maybe a handbag...

    Oh, and lunch too!

Ah, but we're not ON NA forums, are we? We're on unified forums.
  15. I have a question!

    Quote:
Question: Galaxy and Quantum units (especially Void Hunters) are made from N-Fragments which are either broken-down fragments of weak Nictus or fragments made through other means. Is this solely a Nictus thing or are the Peacebringer Kheldians capable of the same "fragmentation"?
Answer: It is theoretically possible to break down and implant a chunk from a Peacebringer into a human but it would take some sort of extreme circumstance for such an occurrence come to pass. The ramifications for the Peacebringer and the subject would be unknown and of grave concern to any ethical scientist in Paragon City or beyond.
Regarding this. I have a character, a Peacebringer, who early in her career was captured by a Nictus scientist and experimented on. During this, he implanted an N-Fragment into her which had some thoroughly unpleasant consequences.

Is this feasible canonicly? If so, what sort of consequences could be reasonably expected?

But we've already HAD a thread where we already discussed all this. Really, it's a complete and utter non-issue.

Tell me, in RP, how often do past events actually come up? Especially with new plots and things? That's the kind of thing that only comes up (rarely) in social events, and how often are forum RP threads purely social events?

If it's something that's relevant to the RP thread, then mention it in your post, otherwise just get on with the thread.

Remember, KISS. I mean, if yalls want to make this complex and divide it up like yalls suggest, feel free to. But I'm stickin' to my guns. They're nice and simple, and if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
    ^ This, really.

Why over complicate stuff? I RP in the Paragon Universe, anything else is just salad dressing.
  22. Forum popularity contests are NEVER a good idea. Plus, with the recent merger of the EU and US communities, those deserving on the EU side would likely be overshadowed by the sheer weight on numbers on the US side.

There's just no way such a thing could ever be made fair.
  23. For those who pay their CoH sub with PayPal, you might want to read the following article.

    http://arstechnica.com/web/news/2009...e-fee-hike.ars

In June, PayPal made a number of changes to its User Agreement and posted an update to the PayPal Blog. At that time, director of product marketing Heinz Waelchli wrote that PayPal had now begun allowing those with business and premium accounts to make personal transfers to friends and family for free. This, in itself, is a welcome update—I use my PayPal account to receive payments for items I sell on Etsy, but now I can send money to my brother from the same account without either of us having to give PayPal a cut.

What PayPal failed to do was inform users of the fact that any transfer having to do with goods or services will be charged the 3¢ + 2.9 percent fee no matter who or where it's coming from. This includes payments sent from personal accounts as well as payments made after someone has sent you a request for payment (even if that request has nothing to do with goods or services).

The change happened in June, but many of you may not yet have noticed the increase in fees, seeing as most of the Internet seems to have missed it until now...
