Oi! I'm not daft you know, I'm so not going to follow ANY links that could risk me ending up on a Killer Klowns video. That damn movie caused my whole problem!!

    Clowns are not funny!

Yeah, he could. He's also an admin for fairly well known Minecraft server and 3 Kyu's short of his first Dan in karate.

Joke accessories have their place, and we could definitely do with more. Brain in a jar? Like the Clockwork King? That'd be awesome. I suggest watching a couple of hours of the old Roadrunner cartoons for inspiration from ACME.

And while i really want to get the forum issues fixed ASAP i have to admit i would choose the server if it was my call.

*crossing fingers that Monday will finally be the day the forums get fixed* (And quite possibly broken in all new ways.)
"Tens of thousands" of customers who aren't giving NCSoft any money at all vs hundreds of customers who ARE. They're still more important because they represent a fatter possible cash cow and they've already GOT our money.

And since when to forum development staff work on setting up game servers anyway? Totally different skill set.
  11. So we get to wait again, whilst yet another of NCSofts's MMO's heads down the toilet. Yay.
  12. Now there's a surprise...

NOT GOOD ENOUGH, PARAGON STUDIOS. NOT GOOD ENOUGH BY A LOOOOOOOONG WAY.
  13. ^ It's even worse if you access from multiple locations like me. I have my home PC, my work PC, my many smartphones and several tablet PC's. I have to relogin every time on each one, and some of them I have to login 3 - 6 times in a row before it will actually stick... Until I post and it unsticks again...

It's garbage... My 11 year old could setup forums better, and that's no exaggeration.

Nah, I wouldn't ask you to not comment even if I could. I've just stopped seeing it as a joking matter, it's been way too bleedin' long for funny.

Dumple, I like you, you're a nice guy and an intelligent poster. However, sorry, but I've kinda run out of humour when it comes to this particular issue...

Well, just to reiterate, this is a MAJOR subscription-ending point for me. I'm sick and tired of the lack of visible action on this, it's been going on for YEARS and complaints have gone mostly unanswered.
  18. The forum logout issue is one of the factors in my considering droppping to Preem soon. If I can't enjoy the forums, why bother paying for them? I'm utterly sick and tired of Paragon Studios ignoring this problem.

As irritating as that is, I'd much rather they fixed the damned cookies so I can actually stay logged in for more than 1 post at a time!

That way, OOC chat channels remain OOC.
Group telepathy could be really interesting for my main as she's a psi-blank and just wouldn't have a clue what was going on... That could lead to.... interesting... consequences.

In either case, can time be set aside for beyond issue 23 to at the very least address the pretinting issue that plagues the "premiere" costume sets (in no order):
    • Magic
    • Halloween
    • Steampunk
    • Celestial
    • Halloween
    • Ascension
    • Gunslinger
    • Arachnos Helms
    • VEAT Costumes (all parts have pre-tinted issues)
And I fully agree that time should be set aside for actually working on player feedback. If features are being worked on 2-3 issues in advance, then there is no real safety net when things blow up in your collective faces.
You forgot the wedding pack, for which part of it STILL doesn't accept the second colour (the skirt iirc).

It's also worth pointing out, CoH was the only game Jay had worked on in the gaming sector, so it's understandable that he'd want to broaden his portfolio and experience a bit more.

Basically, he couldn't tell his friend "no" anymore and made the leap over. We certainly miss him and wish him all the best. Good news is, we still have two very experienced and veteran artists with both Eric and Cheryl and a new addition joining the art team soon.
Oh, I didn't for an instant think it was anything other than amicable. People move on in the industry, it's the way it works.

Z echoes many of my sentiments, but mine go deeper than just these last few costume packs.

Whether I drop VIP or not I haven't decided yet, but if I do it won't be just because of this particular pack, but because I don't like the direction this game or the devs have been taking since they announced Freedom. I knew then that the game was going to go somewhere I didn't like, and so far, I'm being proven right.

I will be buying TOR, whether I actually play beyond the first month remains to be seen, but if it has enough to engage me then EA will likely be getting my 8.99 a month, not Paragon Studios.

Paragon Studios, you shouldn't have taken the game down this road.
