If you memorize all the level 10-40 recipes (plus a little bit more crafting, IIRC), you can summon your own crafting table. Crafting from memory cuts the price about in half (and you can add discount tickets on top of that). And if you've memorized the recipe, there's absolutely no reason not to sell the recipe you get from a drop.
Memorizing the 25-30 recipes gets you extra salvage space. Memorizing the 45-50 recipes gets you extra salvage space. And if you're selling all that stuff you're crafting (or selling the recipes you're no longer using), you can work towards market sales badges, which get you more market space. -
White/Black Dwarfs also have White/Black Dwarf Antagonize. From an NPC to a player, the Taunt effect does nothing. And AFAIK, the -Range was never given to NPC taunts.
In PvP, though, it actually forces you to target the taunter. -

/friend SuperAwesomeGuy will tell you if the name is taken (because you can only friend existing characters). You can't friend characters of an opposite faction, but it should give you an error message if you try (which would tell you that the name is taken on the opposite side).

First and foremost, you're going to miss. Period. No matter what you do, you'll still miss on average 1 out of every 20 critters.
Second, you won't always have all of the spawn within range of your attack. SC has half the radius of LR, too.
Third, you truly do need ridiculous recharge in order to have LR and SC available for every single spawn. In fact, if you were at the recharge cap, it would still take them 18s to recharge, and that's after the 2.57s (LR) and 1.5s (SC) cast time. With a BU > LR > SC chain, you've got at least 13.93 seconds before you can do the same thing again. In the case where you kill every critter in the spawn with two hits (what you're looking for), what then? Sit around waiting for your three-click combo to recharge? (Of course, then you're also losing Fury)
LR (slotted with 3x lv50 Damage IOs) with 90% Fury, saturated AAO and Build Up deals 699.46 damage
SC (slotted with 3x lv50 Damage IOs) with 90% Fury, saturated AAO and Build Up deals 524.59 damage
Level 54 lieutenants have a base 867.4 hp.
So yes, assuming your target doesn't have modified HP nor resistance to Smashing/Energy, you could kill the Minions/Lieutenants in one hit. In fact, the same applies if you remove AAO and reduce Fury to 47%. But then you're back to the "when you miss" and the problem of recharge.
In short: being a one-trick pony is not a good idea. LR and SC are nice powers, but they're not an attack chain. -
You're not the only player who feels entitled to the hours they didn't spend, no.
Veteran rewards are not about the money you pay, but a thanks to the dedication to the game. -
Quote:No, the in-game year is 2011.So according to the time line and over all story arc, is the year actually 2004?
In-game Timeline -
I've just mapserv'd 4 times in a row. On a solo character, without a Rare Alpha power, on a mission map.
1. Enter mission map (Mission "Destroy the Legacy Chain's Army" from Vincent Ross).
2. Henchmen are unresponsive. /releasepets, resummon.
3. Run to Arcanist Micham.
4. Mapserv within the first few kills of the first wave. It seems to be about when Micham dies, but I'm not certain.
When reloading, all my powers are recharged and the mission is reset.
Considering the extreme regularity of my own mapserv issue, I doubt that's the case. It's also obviously not solely due to Rare Alpha powers, though that could be a part of the problem. The mission I'm running does grant the pseudo-Incarnate power [Blood Coral Empowerment]. However, it doesn't grant level shift, so that wouldn't be the connection. -
Using only LR/SC will be unlikely to clear a spawn, and would be terrible for farming. They're good powers, but you're going to need more than just that.
-
There's no "wrong" Rare power when you're going for a Very Rare power. Any two Rares will work.
-
A Very Rare Alpha power costs any 2 Rare Alpha powers to craft. Each Rare Alpha power costs 1 Uncommon Alpha power (from the same tree branch) to craft. Each Uncommon Alpha power costs 1 Common Alpha power.

Quote:There were obviously Time Lords involved in the construction of Paragon City. I mean, have you seen the Terra Volta Reactor area? There is more space around the reactor than could possibly be contained by the force field surrounding it. When we apply this knowledge to the rest of the city, Paragon might only be one cubic foot in size, once you leave. It's Providence, Rhode Island, even though the square mileage of Paragon City probably exceeds the square mileage of the actual state of Rhode Island.
Of course, the Etoile Island Chain is down near Bermuda. Volcanic activity in the Rogue Isles would more likely affect Florida, Georgia, or the Carolinas, with long-ranging effects possibly reaching Cuba and Central America as well. -
Quote:You said 'node'. I read 'thumbtack'. Thumbtacks can go anywhere.Anywhere but present location. Such as :
1) Team Mate standing in middle of grassy field.
2) Top of Building. (Looking to hunt COT in King's : They are usually on top of buildings there)
3) Something not an Icon on the minimap. Anywhere I please to fit my fancy.
Now, they're not going to give you teleport to thumbtack and a command to place a thumbtack at given coordinates, but that's just common sense. -
Quote:I know how to break down a scanning tunneling microscope. Doesn't mean I can make one.See, that makes very little sense to me. Why allow the things to be broken down, and yet not crafted the same way?
Before you say, "but somebody can make one!": the Well can make Notice of the Wells -
Praetoria Auction House: A great excuse to use [Walk].

No, the tohit penalty is there because that's what travel power suppression replaced. Group Fly hasn't been given the suppression of Fly, Super Speed, and Super Jump, because is Player A runs GFly and player B gets suppressed, B cannot keep up with A and will fall out of GFly.

IIRC, one of the major problems with using a 3D printer for CoH models is how thin the geometry can get sometimes. See: skirts, capes.

Quote:This isn't going to happen. The number of enemies spawned for 8 people has been designed carefully, and adding many more enemies can cause problems with the way critter AI performs, and the way a player's client renders things.First an increase (possibly for incarnates only) in the max number of players a toon can count for as adjusted by the fateweaver/field analyst.
This is unlikely unless they expand past 54 for high level content. Currently, the game doesn't know how to create a level 55 critter of any sort. However, between Incarnate level shifting and future Incarnate content, this may happen. -
Quote:No. Bonfire has an auto power that pulses. Auto powers, of course, are unaffected by recharge.Related question: If I slot the Force Feedback proc into Bonfire (from Fire Control), the proc will give the pet a 100% recharge buff. Will this actually speed up the pulses of Bonfire?
Also, a few issues back all pets became unaffected by any form of recharge. -
IIRC, creating a new character will load keybinds.txt onto that character automatically.

Wouldn't most Stone tankers build in either Teleport, enough +Speed IOs to not care about the speed debuff, or regularly team with Kinetics. All of those cases means the speed debuff doesn't mean you're killed by halberds.
