How would you feel if I took your national flag down from a flagpole...<snip>
You really have no problem with that?
[/ QUOTE ]None whatsoever.
[ QUOTE ]
If you really have no objection to defacing the flag of your country that way, what kind of message are you really sending about how you feel about your country?
[/ QUOTE ]The answer that makes me sound patriotic: My country is more than a flag, and destruction of a flag doesn't mean anything for the state of my country. New flags can be created to replace the destructed ones, so long as my country remains.
My real answer: I honestly couldn't give half a [censored] about some flag, from my country or otherwise. I'm not patriotic, I don't have "school spirit", and all I really care about is that my needs and most of my wants are met, most of which are things I need to accomplish on my own. If I saw you tearing up some piece of cloth trying to inctie me into a patriotic rage, I'd probably shrug and walk away, because I simply don't care. -

His name reminds me. The devs need to overturn every nerf created by PvP. Now that the systems are separated there is no reason to keep them in the game.

I'd say nuke both Group Fly and Group Teleport from orbit and rewrite them.
[/ QUOTE ]
I'd like Group Teleport a zillion times more if it was reconfigured to be Team Recall (i.e., "Assemble the Team").
[/ QUOTE ]
You've apparently never seen TTP used properly.
[/ QUOTE ]
Which, in itself, might suggest something isn't quite right with it. I, for one, have never seen Team Teleport used... Ever. And I'm not joking.
[/ QUOTE ]TTP is a combat maneuvering power, that lets the entire team enter a spawn at the same time. This disperses aggro, and allows PBAoEs to envelop the whole spawn immediately. It was used to great effect on the Fire/Rad superteam (Hotfeet + Choking Cloud x8 all affecting the spawn at once), and it was used occasionally on the Traps superteam I was on (keeping everyone inside the stacked FFGs when the alpha hit). I've also seen several Masterminds use it to great effect. For teams like the Frads, it not only serves as protection (disperse aggro among a team of squishies) and offense (Hotfeet/Choking Cloud combo), but also speed (no travel time between spawns).
It's not a common power by any means, but it does have use. -

give us a plane map for MA

so I can create a "Defeat all Snakes on Plane" Mission
[/ QUOTE ]Would that be the physical plane, astral plane, causal plane, akashic plane, mental plane, messianic plane, or the buddhaic plane? -

At least Group Teleport can be useful. And doesn't debuff your allies. And drops you to the ground after 2 seconds so you're not prevented from using ground-only powers.

Oh, and if the 5th Column ever DO come back, we're just going to call them Italians.
[/ QUOTE ]...
Requiem (founder of the 5th Column, now ranking member of the Council) is a Nictus fused with the Italian Ridolfo Uzzano, who worked for Mussolini.
Maestro (ranking member of the 5th Column, ranking member of the Council) is Vincenzo Alferi.
The Center (leader of the Council) is Paolo Tirelli, previously an Italian dignitary.
The Council and the 5th Column both have strong Italian presence. I don't know where you're getting "We're gonna call the 5th Italians", since... they're not being called Italians. -
During Rikti Invasions you fight level 30 Rikti with the GM scaling applied. They're not going to apply GM scaling to enemies within missions, and there's very little reason to extend the level ranges of most enemy groups. (Some groups have holes in their level ranges, which could often be patched, but Hellions, for example, just stop)

Add it to Julia Pria in Cimerora and the Vanguard Quarter Master in RWZ. For single side content you can enter Pocket D or your base so no need in other zones on either side.
[/ QUOTE ]Of note, if you have both the Mission Teleporter and the Pocket D Teleporter and need to buy inspirations on a mixed team LGTF or ITF, you can:
1. Teleport to Pocket D
2. Purchase inspirations from the bartenders
3. Go down the elevator (this takes you outside of the anti-TP field)
4. Activate your Mission Teleporter -
The primary issue with a whips set (or chains or wrestling moves), is that there's no real way to have it wrap around the target in anything remotely resembling a believable way. Aside from the fact that the collision geometry is a cylinder, what happens when you use the same attack on a Clockwork underling, on a minimum-sized player in PvP, on a Hellion, on a War Wolf, or on a GM?
Also, because it has to be said:
Sticks and stones may break my bones,
But whips and chains excite me! -

I'm glad we're getting a free respec, but it surprises me. I didn't think there were significant power changes that would lead folks to desire a respec.
[/ QUOTE ]
The pet recharge nerf is a pretty major change.
[/ QUOTE ]Only if you're slotting enhancements you don't actually want just for the */Recharge (Knockback sets in Bruiser, for example). If you're using sets you actually want for more than the recharge portion (Tohit Debuff sets in Dark Servant, for example), then the change just means the pet doesn't cycle attacks as fast, but that would be true no matter what your slotting is. -

I still want to see gambling merits on the challenges: Challenge X gives you Y extra merits if you complete it successfully, but Y fewer merits if you fail.
[/ QUOTE ]
Guessing you haven't done a random Merit roll, thats enough gamble for me.(22 rolls so far - All Traps of the Hunter, Pacing of the Turtle, and Lady Greys so far)
[/ QUOTE ]Actually, I've done only 3 or 4 direct purchases with merits, all the others have been spent on TF rolls, out of 1500-ish merits earned so far across all characters.
For example, the only history for redside level 15 Impervium Armor: Psi Resistance recipe is from my Mind/Psy Dom -

as presented, the suggestion is exploitable, unless they figure out how to lock difficulty for the entire team at one setting when the team starts the TF.
[/ QUOTE ]
Add the Difficulty setting to the Challenge window, thus locking in the entire TF at that setting irregardless of individual choice. Add some text "Raising the Difficulty to <insert setting name> earns you <X> additional Merit(s)."

Games like WoW use numerous control methods for performance control. One of them is a relatively currency poor environment, where your character can be broke at any level. That isn't the case here

Honestly, did ANYONE besides the dev team ever even consider that hover was not rooting?
[/ QUOTE ]Honestly, I don't think even the devs realized it was happening until shortly before they changed it. I seem to recall Castle talking about using Hover for KB mitigation when he played the game, so the fact that it was mitigating the KB apparently didn't bother him. It also means he didn't realized that the Hover KB animation was preventing the rooting of his other powers.
FWIW, I believe Arcanaville also made mention of her knowledge of the non-rooting Hover KB animation during that time period, though I'm not sure if she qualifies as "anyone besides the dev team". Aside from not being employed by NCSoft and knot having access to the codebase, she might as well be one of them
