Zergling Swarm:
1) Create a custom enemy group that only contains one minion type. The minion can be anything, it really doesn't matter.
2) Set the mission map to something large and outdoor. City 02 works well, particularly with its spawn points.
3) Max out the number of "Protect" objectives. It doesn't matter if they're required or not, since custom critters suck at killing protect objectives. This is about swarming the player, not causing instafail
4) Make sure to max out the spawns around the objectives
I know for a fact that City 02, when given the max number of protect objectives, will often spawn multiple objectives on top of one another. I've seen up to 5 at the same X,Y,Z location (there may be others, but Cuty 02 is the only one I've tried). This means all 5 spawns surrounding the objective will be at the same spot. where it gets really juicy is that Protect Object objectives all have an ambush attached to them. With 1-5 objectives spawned at the same spot, while fighting 1-5 spawns worth of minions, you'll get 1-5 ambushes all spawning at the same time, for 2-10 spawns worth of enemies aggroed on you.
Bonus points for setting the difficulty to Tenacious or Unyielding (larger spawns) and for bringing an 8-man team. On a *THREE* person team, I've had enemies disappearing because the game had reached its entity draw limit (>100 entities on screen)
Bonus bonus points for bringing a Thugs MM; Arsonist's Fire Bomb doesn't have a target cap. -

I see no harm in disclaimers, but i would hardly say you CAN'T complete it without ranged - I know several tanks and even scrappers with the right build that probably could.
I doubt it. The END drain on the mito's aura is huge -- as in, I clicked a large blue and was able to attack once before running out of END again, with Elude (and its +recovery) running. It actually debuffs your total END by 33%. There's also a huge fear effect, which I don't know if even a set with Fear protection can withstand. It can be broken by BFs but that means bringing a bunch of those. I don't think anything but a Dark Armor (the only set I can think of with both END drain and fear protection) could even try.
[/ QUOTE ]I don't know about the version available in MA, but FWIW, the Raid Version of the blue mito has an aura with mag 7 fear/33 endurance drain/75% recovery debuff, an attack with mag 7 fear/20 endurance drain/20% recovery debuff, 300% melee/aoe defense, and 70% defense debuff resistance. -
You don't have to hit the combine button if you just dragged the new enhancement onto the old.

Yep a simple looking combine pop up. No needless animations or effects.
[/ QUOTE ]Press the Exit button on the combine screen. All the animations and effects are skipped. -

Gender equality nao! Hello Kitty Cannons for males and huges!

Sure, why not.
No reason boys can't feel pretty, too.
Do you wanna come to my tea party? You'd have to RSVP now, though.
[/ QUOTE ]Mr. Fluffy doesn't do RSVP.
[/ QUOTE ]
Well, we can't guarantee a seat, then. Because, yanno, this is a veeery exclusive tea party, that has such a long waiting list, and stuff. Plus we only have so many seats for tea, and there's, like. A LOT. Of stuffed animals that have already RSVP'd for it, and they do get first shot.
We'll call you if we have an opening, though.
[/ QUOTE ]Mr. Fluffy makes his own seat.

That sounds more like a personal problem and you should reeaally see a doctor for it.

I can't test the next mission.
[/ QUOTE ]You can drag the mission's book icon in the arc editor screen to reorder the missions in the arc. Move the mission you want to test to the front of the arc before starting Test mode. -

they said, yet again, to put it on the forum and see what kind of feedback it gets. either no one has thought of this yet or the devs chose not to implement it in any of the last few issues.
[/ QUOTE ]FYI: The support staff are not devs, and aren't part of the development process. Check out the City Scoop column by GM_Lloyd for some info on how they really work

Subject: Super Booster II: Magic Details!
[*]Mystic Fortune Power:
Ever wanted to have your fortune read in game? With the Mystic Fortune power players will be able to offer to read each others fortunes. Having your fortune read gives a power buff based on the Major Arcana of the Tarot, and can give a positive or negative effect on that character for the next 20 minutes.
[/ QUOTE ]
I sure hope the effects of this power are deletable before 20 minutes ... I don't want some terd I don't know, running up to me, using their power, and now i'm debuffed for the next 20 minutes with no way to prevent it/remove it.
[/ QUOTE ]
The effect is NOT deletable, however, you are given a confirmation as to whether or not you accept having your fortune told. If you say 'No,' you get no fortune and the person who cast it now has to wait the full recharge time to try again.
[/ QUOTE ]
...so it's a power that's never going to get used because nobody's going to want to chance getting a bad debuff for 20 minutes that they can't remove. Awesome!
[/ QUOTE ]
I can see griefing with this one. I really do.
[/ QUOTE ]
Given the confirmation dialog, I don't. But I still see it as being useless. Unless the debuffs are minor and the buffs are really good, but that'd make it too good for an item pack power.
[/ QUOTE ]As of the most recent update to City of Data, Mystic Fortune can grant one of 9 fortunes based on the 22 Major Arcana of the tarot.
**ONE** of those 9 buffs includes a debuff. The Fool is -3% tohit. It also includes +Recharge, +Speed, and +Movement Control.
**ONE** of those 9 buffs includes a negative effect other than a debuff. The Tower deals one tick of resistable Lethal damage. It also includes +Damage. -

You pretty much caused a one-man case of hype aversion. Personally, I doubt Venture's review has anything to do with it. Remember that only a small fraction of the playerbase even registers for the forums.
[/ QUOTE ]Also, sleaze. "hi i rated u 5 nao rate me 5" is the worst thing you can do for your rating unless the person you send it to is of like mind. -
[ QUOTE ]
The only problem I can see arise from this are the Black Market areas. They don't have the protection that WW has from police drones, so any attack from a zone mob, rikti invasion, zombie invasion, etc, you couldn't defend yourself. Something would have to be done about that.
[/ QUOTE ]The BM, WW's, and the AE building all have a kill field that is many times better than any Police or Arbiter drone. Drones have to fire an attack to defeat enemies, and it has a certain cycle time. The kill field instagibs anything that enters the area. Just watch a rikti invasion in Cap Au Diable, with Rikti dying as soon as they finish teleporting in next to some marketeer. Or a Rikti Dropship flying through an AE building. -

At this point I bailed out of the arc and one-starred it. If zero was an actual option I'd have used it.

And for some reason the collection clue in the first mish is screwed up, you're supposed to be told you 'ran out of magic ju-ju' at the fourth altar, not the first. So I'll have to place seperate items, and HOPE that the placement of #4 is close to the back of the map (spawning #5).
[/ QUOTE ]All clues are being granted after the first of a group of glowies. So yeah, the only possible way to make the clue come after the final one is to make them separate objectives and hope the last one is the last the player clicks. -
But what about all the heroes without legs?!
-
I'd return Energy Transfer to being DETHPOKE. I don't mind the new animation time, but I miss the "poke... ur ded" feel
The current animation time could be kept by adding some kind of windup period before the poke. -
/signed
I don't have any problems with the last issue you've got since I use my keyboard to fire my powers, but I like all of the ideas presented -
/signed for glowies that start as semitransparent
/signed for inverted objectives (Do NOT do X)
The circular objectives error seems to be a bug stemming from the order your objectives are in the list. It seems you can't have Boss B spawn after Boss A is defeated if Boss B is higher in the list of objectives in the mission screen than Boss A is. Try reordering the objectives and see if it solves your problem. -
The best place to check for news would be the Titan Network Forums. Midnights is a UK player, and as such can't post on the US official boards.

[/ QUOTE ]IOs which have PvE and PvP set bonuses (in PvE, only th PvE bonuses work; in PvP, both PvE and PvP bonuses work). You can only get them by defeating players in PvP.
