I recommend enhancements be removable
[/ QUOTE ]
Enhancements are removable. You use a respec to do it 10 at a time. Also the devs already admitted that it was a huge mistake to let us remove 10 enhancements in the first place.
[/ QUOTE ]They never said it was a mistake. They said it was a generous allowance.
[/ QUOTE ]
I could have sworn they said it was a mistake but it's very possible I'm misremembering what someone else said in a discussion about it. I bow to your superior memory F_W.
In any case we'll never see them grant us the ability to simply remove enhancements at our whim.
[/ QUOTE ]I wouldn't be opposed to something consumable to remove them (eg: 'Remove Enhancement' enhancement), though; the biggest problem there would be balancing its availability against respec recipes. -

A true White Elephant wouldn't confer any benefits. The term originates from Southeast Asia where a monarch would grant a white elephant as a gift - a great sign of honor from the monarch, but since the animal was sacred you couldn't do anything with it except pay for its care. -
It took me about a minute to find on the map the first time I went looking on the Test server. And that wasn't even in Talos or Grandville, one of those really crowded maps!
-
I dunno about that, Eva. I've got a custom group that has a Tuatha and a custom critter for each rank, and the spawns seem evenly split between them.

/signed. It really breaks the paradigm already established for map icons. The only non-circle icons before were a square with a circle in it.

It's not a cemetery, it's a public memorial park.

While that would explain why it doesn't give credit, it doesn't explain the ghosts that hang out there every night.
[/ QUOTE ]So should the streets and rooftops of Salamanca count for Mortician, too? -

Argh.

Somebody had to.
[/ QUOTE ]I'm guessing the rejection hotline? -

I agree. Like any sound from a toggle, it needs to fade out after the first few seconds.
[/ QUOTE ]It DOES fade. The sound only plays once. But as with all powers, they get reactivated when you zone, and therefore play the sound again.
Because the fortune is also inherited by pseudopets, the animation/sound plays (on the pseudopet) as well. -
A dollar says Jay already has the Natural booster finished, or at least at a state where he won't add anything else.

Well I'll tell you, just so you can report it too. They're from the show "Metalocalypse."
[/ QUOTE ]Adult Swim has an actual band, too -

2. They have increased perception
[/ QUOTE ]What's your proof of this? Because aside from critters with +per powers, I haven't noticed behavior any different from normal gameplay with regards to stealth. -

News for Spines. I did another experiment with Thorn Assault and find that, if you configure the set to use its peculiar power, the critter will use villain version.
Probably it's the same thing for the other powerset (maybe using Energy Assault for Energy Blast and so on).
[/ QUOTE ]That's because Thorny Assault is not Spines, and Energy Assault is not Energy Blast.
MA doesn't not had Domintors, Blaster, Tanker, etc. powersets. There are Mission Maker Attacks power sets, and there are Mission Maker Secondary powersets. When the game lists Earth Control as a Dominator power and as a Controller power, they're both actually Mission Maker Attacks.Earth Control -

We had one... and it kept wobbling on and off the HOF thanks to be mathematical implausibility of a 4.5+ average.
[/ QUOTE ]I would argue that we had one that kept wobbling on and off because a lot of people truly didn't feel it deserved 5 stars -

Check this out; a guide to adding emotes to the Quick Menu.

thats probably really good but i didnt understand it at all
[/ QUOTE ]Please, tell me what you didn't understand about it. -

Also - has anyone found the actual card art? I would love to see a full color version of the cards - the tranclucent images look cool but to hard to make out details.
[/ QUOTE ]Do you mean the /em cardtrick cards, or the Fortune cards? The latter can be found here -
Heroes are AVs, just with a different name. You can make Rogue ambushes, patrols, and battles. I wouldn't mind seeing underlings and snipers, though.

Is that the case? Thought they were because I got the 100 one.
Still a more detailed star break down would be useful.
[/ QUOTE ]They're awarding, but the 250 badge isn't awarding until you get the 500 badge as well. -
I don't personally care if they apply it to other powers. But they've already got the popup on Mystic Fortune, so it can be kinda annoying to click yes every time (or click no)
And I realize you can bind /dialogyes and /dialogno to some keys, but it doesn't really fix the problem. -

It makes a looping sound every 2 seconds or so.
[/ QUOTE ]No it doesn't. It plays its cast animation/sound when you zone, when you rez, and when you summon a pseudopet that inherits the buff.
I could understand this claim if you were casting Twilight Grasp every 2 seconds or something, but it's factually false. -

I should probably go dig up that thing on common usage doctrine and hit somebody with it. They aren't allowed to lay claim to words.
[/ QUOTE ]To be fair to Marvel, they haven't trademarked common words; they've trademarked the characters which happen to have a common words as their super hero/villain names. Paragon Studios is just being overly cautious with their word filter.
True, if Marvel brought Paragon Studios to court over someone using the word "Gambit", they'd be laughed out of court... but they would have a case if someone were using the character Gambit/Remy Etienne LeBeau. Blocking the word Gambit is one way to help prevent people creating Remy.
Edit: Not to say that I think the word filter is fine as-is. I agree that it's a bit too restrictive, but it's at least understandable. -

Also, anybody notice that the Wheel of Fortune seems to have the AT symbols on it.
[/ QUOTE ]Ooh, good catch!
The inner ring appears to be the origin icons, as well. The symbol at the 12 o'clock position looks a lot like the Science icon.
Edit: From Scrapper (just past the 12 o'clock) clockwise, I can make out:
Scrapper
Peacebringer
Defender(?)
Warshade
Corruptor
Dominator
Tanker
Mastermind
Brute
Stalker
Blaster
Controller(?)
From Science (12 o'clock) clockwise, we've got:
Science
Magic
Technology
Mutation
Natural
Edit: Ooh, I've just noticed that The Tower has an Arachnos logo on the side, so it's probably supposed to be Ghost Widow's Tower. That, or perhaps the tower in Grandville? -
There isn't a way, but you can get around it by calling the boss by their name, or using gender-neutral language.
Of course, there's always events in the canon game such as an ambush consisting of Carnival Strongmen which shout out "Let's get 'em, girls!" -
I believe it's talking about the intro text for one of your missions.
