You should ask BAB how GMs fair against Hamidon sometime.

Oh, I did not realize this. Thank you.
Why do Performance Shifters not go for higher prices on the market then? Last I checked a Chance for +End was going for 5000 or less. You would think it would cost more if it was so effective.
[/ QUOTE ] They used to cost a lot more than they do now. Not sure why the price crashed.

You can only take stamina once?

Antagonize is only slightly weaker than Taunt (35s vs. 41s duration PvE, 8.75s vs. 1.25s PvP), but the main problem is that it isn't autohit like Taunt is.

Apparently /jranger is something awesome that I totally missed when I was gone for a while... what was it? Why was it so awesome?

Devouring Earth Quartz emanators also give a +100% tohit buff to nearby DE.
[/ QUOTE ]
That makes sense. I remember diving into a group of DE and thinking "Wha... they're actually hitting me!" Then I read the description on the Quartz emanators, which then went straight to the top of my First-To-Die list.
In a way it's quite exhilarating to suddenly encounter something that actually poses a threat, after so half a dozen levels or so of shredding every enemy I meet.
Haven't tried her on Malta yet, though
[/ QUOTE ]Unfortunately, even if you confuse the DE before they lay the Quartz emanators (thereby automatically having a confused emanator), you don't get the buff, since the buff only works on DE -
The devs don't reveal who they are on their personal accounts, and the chance you have of one tell you here is about nil.
-
In context, I would guess pulling GW to the Longbow boat to get the LB to help deal damage/distract her, but I've never heard the term before.
-
Rularuu Sentries have an inherent +100% tohit.
Devouring Earth Quartz emanators also give a +100% tohit buff to nearby DE.
Neither Sentries nor DE buffed by Quartz get +Acc (except by level/rank midifiers applied to all critters); none of the Sentries' attacks have inherent accuracy bonuses, and the only DE with inherent accuracy bonuses on their attacks are the DE Monsters and Hamidon/Mitos. -

Sometimes -regen > dps.
[/ QUOTE ]-regen == dps (when applied to hard targets), actually, though GMs, AVs, and critters higher level than you resist -regen making its contribution frequently minimal. Minions and Lieutenants (and sometimes even Bosses) don't live long enough for -regen to be a significantly contributing factor.
In almost all cases, -res >> -regen, too. -
The +10% Resistance IO doesn't affect you, it affects your pet.

As for your missions, unless you have your difficulty up very high you shouldn't need Shivans except for certain EBs that might be rough for a level 16 (like Arbiter Sands or Dr. V)
[/ QUOTE ]And even against those EBs, a tray full of inspirations is a quicker and easier way to deal with the problem -

Looking at the data that I could find more closely, it looks like all the Mitos have 100 resistence to repel. Which says to me that if we can get 11 Force Fielders together, they can overwhelm the repel resistence of the Mitos....
Any thoughts on this, or am I reading this data wrong, as I am prone to doing?
[/ QUOTE ]
They have mag 100 knock-back protection. The important thing to notice, however, is that they also have knock-back resistance (Though I can't tell how much).
[/ QUOTE ]100% resistance, but that's irrelevant since PK plans to use Repel on them, not KB. -
[ QUOTE ]
I believe procs are only effective when placed in powers that have to be activated. I don't think the chance will ever happen if you place it in Stamina as that is an auto power.
[/ QUOTE ]You think wrong. In fact, the Performance Shifter proc is most effective in Stamina and Quick Recovery, and on average, is better than a 3rd endmod enhancement in Stamina. -
It's not likely to ever change the ordering of who's best, but it does change the answer to "absolute highest solo DPS"

I got my copy of that specific book from Amazon. I found the pic on the artist's deviantArt page, through google
If you want to know more about the game, check out the Exalted page on Wikipedia. If you're interested in playing, you need [u]Exalted: Second Edition[u] (ISBN 1-58846-684-1). Rules for player characters can be found in:
- Exalted: Second Edition (Solar Exalted: Most powerful type, lots of holy/sun stuff)
- The Manual of Exalted Power: The Dragon-Blooded (Terrestrial Exalted: Weakest type, good at teamwork)
- The Manual of Exalted Power: The Lunars (Lunar Exalted: Shapeshifters)
- The Manual of Exalted Power: The Sidereals (Sidereal Exalted: Fate manipulators)
- The Manual of Exalted Power: The Abyssals (Abyssal Exalted: Solars corrupted by the Deathlords)
- The Scroll of Fallen Races (Mountainfolk: Dwarves; Dragon Kings: lizard people)
- Graceful Wicked Masques: The Fair Folk (Fair Folk/Fae/Raksha: Creatures of chaos)
- Manual of Exalted Power - The Infernals (Akuma: Other Exalts who have given themselves to the Yozis [demons]; Green Sun Princes: 50 Solar Exalt souls captured and corrupted by the Yozis)
Other Books contain setting information, more charms/sorceries, artifacts, etc. -

I refer you to a word that is very popular among "gangstas" a word that is used to describe their best friend, which was once used only to keep them down. A word that I know would be censored, and even if it wasn't I would get modsmacked and possibly banned because I am white and used it.
[/ QUOTE ]
There is, of course, a difference here. The N-word you alluded to has been embraced as a way to remove its stigma. If I were a black man, I might feel that me using the N-word is empowering, as now it is MY word, not the word of silly racist white people. The same goes for the other F-word and the gay community (though that one offends me regardless).
[/ QUOTE ]
All this does is end up with people of all races all over the world using the word unironically because they think it's cool.
[/ QUOTE ]
as a guy who has a Pikachu on Pikachu fight as an Avatar, i think you lose all credibility about inter race fighting ^_^
p.s. I did cry when i watched the ending of that movie in the theaters as a kid. What! it was sad!

I assume the side mission temp powers are rewarded at random and based on a roll?
The reason I ask is, while I have gotten several temp powers in Mayhem side missions, in 14 months of playing I have never gotten a single temp power from a Safeguard side mission. Because of this, I always assumed side mish temp powers were only awarded redside.
[/ QUOTE ]
It is possible that you were awarded a Temp power you already had (it won't replace/refresh one you own already), or instead of a temporary power from the side mission, you received an Access Bypass special salvage (again, only allowed to carry one at a time).
[/ QUOTE ]Access Bypass can't be gotten from the Arms Deal side mission (where you get one of several temporary powers). Access Bypasses come from the Break In/Smash & Grab side mission. -

I'm saying solo because in a group it becomes pretty simple. Multiple /Kins plus an 850% damage cap = absolute carnage, so take whichever Brute has the best DPS chain at capped recharge (probably Stone or Fire), add enough /Kins to cap damage and recharge, and watch the fun. Likewise, adding a FF and a Sonic makes survivability a non-issue for anyone.
[/ QUOTE ]
Under those conditions, I'd be surprised if the Fire/Fire blaster could be beat. HF + BA + Blaze + Ring of Fire + Fire Sword.

The damage auras take a while to tick off and don't contribute as much as another, better single target attack
[/ QUOTE ]The advantage to damage auras is that you don't have to activate them during battle, so it's a straight add to your DPS. -

They won't say where, though we know (among other things) that Posi has played Dominators.
[/ QUOTE ]We also know that Castle has played with Repeat Offenders. We don't know if he's actually a regular member, or if he just played on an RO team, but there are occasional threads on the RO boards of people accusing each other of being Castle -

I'd be more than willing to do hunt mishes if, as I recently learned is normal in CoV, hunt mishes could be worked on inside door missions.
[/ QUOTE ]Hunt missions can be done inside missions in CoH as well, so long as the hunt doesn't require the enemies to be in a certain zone/neighborhood (and many don't have either requirement)
