Suckerpunch's build planner is online, with a graphical display, but it's out of date.

you are correct in that most powers just grant +def to everything, but there is "base" defense which is technically global defense.

[/ QUOTE ]IIRC, however, PFF is the only power that gives base defense (Base Defense is added to all other defense types when calculating defense). Defense debuffs, on the other hand, frequently target base defense.

I am hitting liek 45 to 50 on both my /sr's with swift + quickness + sprint and some movement speed IO buffs and have had no issues did it pre IO's as well

On one just Combat jumping made it easier to soft cap my defense the other has hurdle at 49 to fill a last power I had no extra slots left so I just took hurdle because

As Aett said, Hamidon raids are still run regularly on most servers. STF/LRSF can earn you synthetic Hamidon Enhancements, though, so many people prefer to organize 8 people rather than 50.

A more appropriate example would be if SR could not slot the Steadfast unique at all, unless it was paired with DM or Katana. In that example, DM/SR & Kat/SR would get a benefit that other sets paired with SR would not.

This is what is happening with the RIP sets and MM's right now.

I wouldn't put it that way. However, what it comes down to is that previous versions of Windows allowed certain shortcuts that hardware manufacturers commonly used. These shortcuts weren't exactly the best things for the system ( Or the parts using them ). Vista closed those shortcuts, and, as a result, a lot of cheaper ( and some higher end ) hardware suddenly started running into conflicts because of this.
