  1. I've got about 82% interrupt reduction in my Rad/Dark's Moonbeam, just from frankenslotting snipe sets (2x Extreme Measures, 2x Sting of the Manticore, 1x Executioner's Contract)

It's got capped damage, high recharge, and respectable endrdx too; no accuracy slotting but between it's acc bonus, Tactics, and PBU, that's never been a problem, and I can fire it in battle all the time

All summoned pets have done that for a while now. Lightning Storm included. I'll believe it's fixed in i15 when I see it.

    [/ QUOTE ]

then its not true. Shield charge doesn't summon a pet at all.
It teleports you then you do a PBAoE.

    [/ QUOTE ]
The in-game numbers on Shield Charge/Lightning Rod lie. The damage itself is delivered by a pseudopet created around you immediately after you teleport. That's why 1) using Lightning Rod on a Stalker doesn't break Hide, and 2) Shield Charge/Lightning Rod cap at +300% (or is it +200%?) damage.

Bad mac! no proving me wrong!

Tame the AVs regen rate. Unless they're a regen type character, AVs should not have such a high regen rate, IMO.

[/ QUOTE ]Most AVs sit at their base regen rate, and their base regen rate is lower than that of players. They've got much, much higher HP, which gives them a large HP/sec, but their regen rate is low.

    No, I'm not.

I wasn't planning on it, either.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Now that the OP has been edited, I am wonderng what you aren't planning on, Aett & mousedroid.

[/ QUOTE ]They're not planning on making flight faster
  5. [ QUOTE ]
They have made it faster already.

    [/ QUOTE ]Twice, in fact.

Adamastor, Babbage, Jurassik, the Kraken, Lusca, Paladin, Deathsurge, Caleb, Ghost of Scrapyard, the Arachnos Flier... and those are just the ones that spawn normally without external triggers

[/ QUOTE ]Deathsurge and Caleb spawn on triggers and do not spawn on timers.
  7. In PvE, the only skill is being able to manipulate the critter AI (ex: pulling), and occasionally timing, when your team is being overrun.

I can't really speak for PvP, but you're at least facing an opponent that is presumably intelligent when you do.
  8. I'm positive McD nuggets aren't actually food
  9. [ QUOTE ]
I will not go to McDonalds except for chicken nuggets. Anyone who says McDonalds fries are good has serious mental issues.

[/ QUOTE ]Wait... you hate their fries... but you'll eat chicken nuggets at McDonalds?

Maybe I've been spoiled by Chic-Fil-A, but I'd take waterboarding over eating McD nuggest.

And McD fries are the only thing edible on their menu, either.
  10. [ QUOTE ]
Doms are not a damage-heavy AT to begin with.

[/ QUOTE ]...and now they are. That's the point.

So far I have figgured out <QR> as quick reply and IMO/IMHO as in my opinion/in my honest opinion

    [/ QUOTE ]
Actually, it's generally read as In My HUMBLE Opinion.

    [/ QUOTE ]Since when?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Since forever in my experience. Been posting on internet forums since the mid 90s, and it's always been that.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I want to say he's making a joke about how opinions are usually not so humble, but I can't speak for him.

[/ QUOTE ]No, every single time I have seen someone explain IMHO, it's always been "honest opinion", not humble.
  12. Before implementing an idea to share inf and items across your characters, it has to be shown that sharing inf/items between characters is a good idea for this game.
  13. The "Not Accepting Invites" flag does prevent people from inviting you. However, I don't think a flag to prevent invites until they've sent a /tell would be useful, since people would just use "/tell DragunBlud, h" and then immediately invite.
  14. [ QUOTE ]
our largest racial[?] subset in the game is indeed Asian characters

[/ QUOTE ]Well, of the canon characters (NPCs), it's pretty much Americans, people from alternate dimensions, and Hmong (the Tsoo are Hmong), which encompasses China, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, and Burma.

it happened with someone that took the inf and ran on a trade for a lotg +rech a few months ago while there was still the trade bug that kept saying inventory full even though it wasn't; there was a thread about it.

[/ QUOTE ]Exploiting a bug to steal inf is entirely different from stealing inf through social engineering. No GM is going to take action on you for accepting an inf trade.

    [/ QUOTE ]
I said "if the GM is feeling charitable"; it is a similar situation (chat discussion logged for a trade/barter agreed to where one side pays and is not provided recompense) if they decide to look at it from that perspective. If they're not feeling charitable they'll treat it how the do inf transfers where the person just pockets it and runs off while you're switching, say "don't give inf to people you don't know/trust", and close the ticket.

Personally I'd bet on the latter, but it's just not worth the hassle on the off chance that the GM decides to be nice.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Wouldnt this be like calling the cops to report that someone came into your backyard and stole all the marijuana plants? The Devs should not even care bc it shouldnt be happening.

[/ QUOTE ]Probably closer to complaining that you paid them for... "love"... and they didn't give you anything.

Something that we dont have to wait months to get updated

[/ QUOTE ]You're welcome to write your own character planner.

You can't? Well, then, you could vote with your money and stop buying Mids'.

You mean it's free? Well, I guess you could always resort to complaining about the update status of a program made in people's free time at no charge to you.
  17. [ QUOTE ]
Secondly: Whips/Chains. The Devs have discussed these with us before. The engine has a very hard time handling these well. Static objects like an Axe or Sword are fine. But taking that static costume option, and making it work like a power animation becomes very tricky given the engine that we have.

[/ QUOTE ]The problem with whips/chains isn't really the animations (though they would have to be made from scratch), but rather the fact that we're all cylinders, and a chain wrapping around that would look stupid.

    Also:
Sticks and stones may break by bones
by whips and chains excite me!

(And in fact, Defenders and Arachnos soldiers/Widows also have a 0.1 Ranged_Res_Dmg modifier, while Tankers have 0.065)

    [/ QUOTE ]

Note that the ranged def mod is for ally buffs like Maneuvers - Defenders are supposed to be better buffers than Tanks.

[/ QUOTE ]Yes, but they've also got the same Melee modifier as Tankers, too, which is what matters for the IO in question.

My point was that despite being squishies, they're also buffers, and Resistance is just another thing to buff, whether it's to self or ally. The buffers just don't get many powers that buff themselves.

    Nonono.

The truly villainous approach would be to use him to paint the map, then TP foe him high into the air right above a large spawn, so that he takes falling damage and then gets crushed by the enemies. THEN you kick him.

[/ QUOTE ]No, you've got to make him pay in advance, too.

All versions of lightning storm were changed to no longer inherit recharge buffs, this includes the defender version.

*if* it was not changed, it is a bug and will get fixed.

[/ QUOTE ]I believe Defender LS was missed in the first round of pet-recharge-locks, but was later fixed.
