Air Superiority: The animation when you are using a weapon should *include* the weapon with it.
[/ QUOTE ]This seems like a simple suggestion... but it really isn't. Because of the way the game's animation system works, in order to have Air Superiority not cause weapon draw, they need to create many new animations:
- AS with weapon drawn, female model, on the ground
- AS with weapon drawn, male model, on the ground
- AS with weapon drawn, huge model, on the ground
- AS with weapon drawn, female model, in the air
- AS with weapon drawn, male model, in the air
- AS with weapon drawn, huge model, in the air
Then quadruple that, since "with weapon drawn" is something different for a one-handed weapon (broadsword), two-handed weapon (katana), dual-wielded weapon (dual blades), or weapon + shield (anything paired with shield defense)
Then you have to consider that all of that animation work only "fixes" Air Superiority, and not Jump Kick, Kick, Boxing, or Flurry. And then even if you do make those changes to all of the pool attacks, there's still dozens of attacks in a character's second powerset which cause weapon redraw, and by the time you make all those changes, you've got players clamoring for non-attacks that cause redraw to be changed as well...
And once you've got all those hundreds of alternative animations added, any animation change to one of the powers in question requires that much more work to complete the change, since each of the alternative animations needs to be changed as well.
There's only one power which is outside a weapon set and doesn't cause redraw*: Brawl. And Brawl is the most complicated power (animations-wise) in the game.
* There are a handful of powers which accidentally don't cause redraw for some weapons, though I'm not certain why that is, and I'm not certain that the devs know why it occurs either. -

doing Quarterfield's TF, and I had a blast!

Also, it's Quaterfield, not Quarterfield -

So what would be wrong with just simply naming what they are differently if they are so much the same?
[/ QUOTE ]There's nothing wrong with that. You simply asked why only AVs were available, and the simple answer is "because Heroes don't actually exist". All of the Heroes are just AVs with a flag saying "call me a Hero instead". Control over that flag was just omitted from the custom critter creator, whether by accident or because the devs wanted to get things working before bothering with nonessentials. -
[ QUOTE ]
and also,I notice that the AE dosent have a "Hero" option when you go to create a super. Why not?Why put "Arch-Villain" into it,if you arent going to put "Hero" into it?It just dosent make any sense. You cannot have one without the other.
[/ QUOTE ]Heroes and Arch-Villains are the exact same thing as far as the game is concerned. The only difference is what text gets displayed in the targeting window. -

is there a slash comand to exit a mission
[/ QUOTE ]
Not that I know of, but you can click the big blue EXIT button after completing the objectives.
[/ QUOTE ]Yes, /requestexitmission will get you out of a mission once it has been completed. If you're solo (not on a team), /leaveteam will boot you from the mission immediately, without completing it. -
I believe critter base regen is somewhere around half that of players, but AVs/GMs have so much HP, 5% heal is a lot.

Grandville Flier can be tough, because it's only vulnerable to damage when it lands.

The idea sounds incredibly silly.
[/ QUOTE ]Silly? No. Silly is the Moonsilver Pantaloons artifact from ExXxalted: Scroll of Swallowed Darkness.
[ QUOTE ]
As the Unconquered Sun and the other Incarnae
deliberated over their plans to rebel against the Primordials,
the Maiden of Battles suggested that their
ally Autochthon would be of great aid, but would
ultimately be insufficient to assure the survival of
Creation. Luna suggested that perhaps she could
seduce Gaia. Taking the form of a bare-chested young
man clad in tight moonsilver breeches, the moon
god succeeded in exactly that. It is said that his sole
apparel was woven from ambrosia and threads of
Serenity. The primary power of this mighty artifact
is to enhance the lower body and its assorted appendages,
making them impressive even to architects of
Creation. The price for such power is a seven mote
attunement cost.

... and that's probably the most tame thing in the book -
I'm irritated with it already, and it only exists in Ruladak's cave.

Given that Japan is in fact Japan, you can never be sure.

If you encounter a futa catgirl in heat, back away slowly. Do not make eye, or any other type of, contact.

Last I heard, the Dominator changes were planned to hit live after I15 does, despite being on Test already.

All PVP IOs mal down to lvl 1. As long as you had that slot at whatever level you go down to, you will get the benifit.
[/ QUOTE ]The exemplar system doesn't know anything about what level you placed a slot, just what level you took a power. -
The game today is something completely different from what it was at launch.
Major selling points (to me), in no particular order:
- Fast travel time
- Auto-scaling missions
- Sidekick/Exemplar
- Separation of form and function (costume doesn't determine powers)
- Fast combat, against many opponents
At 50, there's still many things you can do:
- Collect badges
- Write/Play Architect missions (with i15, we'll be able to buy up to 5 extra story slots, too)
- Hamidon Raid
- Rikti Mothership Raid
- Many high level Task Forces
- Explore the Shadow Shard
- PvP -

now having to redraw your weapon has an effect on DPS.
[/ QUOTE ]The absolute worst case (drawing your weapon before each attack) is equal to what those sets were doing before the change. -
QR
Some people also use parentheses (double or single, I've seen both) preceded by "oO" to represent thought bubbles they want to transmit to the whole team, for whatever reason. The two Os are supposed to be the little bubbles leading up to the big thought bubble. Example:
oO(Wow, what a weird costume that guy has!) -
\O (backslash: open main menu; O: Select "Options" from the main menu)
You should be able to reset your windows there. -
We can fix that, PK. I've got Sylar on speed dial

...that the AE building in the RWZ seems really out of place?
[/ QUOTE ]
How about moving it to Cimerora?
That AE building is the only one I know of ingame where you can do cooperative AE. I suppose a AE simulator could be moved to Pocket D instead.
[/ QUOTE ]How about we take the artificial reality entertainment building out of the WAR ZONE, and move it to the INTERDIMENSIONAL NIGHT CLUB -

If it is a targeted AOE (Explosive Blast, Bonfire), it is knockback from the center of the blast.
[/ QUOTE ]Knockback is [u]ALWAYS[u] radial from caster, no matter what kind of attack it is. ALWAYS. No exceptions.
That includes AoEs like Explosive Blast and Bonfire. Bonfire, however, operates slightly differently: the player is not the caster of the KB, but rather it's a pseudopet summoned at a location that is casting the KB power. The KB is still radial from caster, it's just that the player isn't the caster any more. -
[ QUOTE ]
If it is an AoE, instead of targeting in the center of a group, target a foe on the edge of the group and diametrically opposed to a wall or corner.
[/ QUOTE ]All KB is directed radially out from the caster, not from the target. Even if you shoot the one on the side, they'll still fly away from you. And if you're shooting one on the side, you'll probably miss some, too, since you're only catch them with half your AoE. -

Furries in denial. Or worse, furries who are not in denial.
[/ QUOTE ]
Pft. I roleplay a catgirl in a different venue ( a chat rpg of changeling The Lost) and have little to no interest in the furry fandom. I have a friend that does, though, but I mostly did the character because I wanted to try roleplaying something completely different from my usual obsession with mad science.
[/ QUOTE ]Funny... my tabletop group is nearing the end of a Mage: the Ascension campaign where I'm a mad scientist... I turned a crashed skyrigger into a spaceship within 4 months
...and our life support system is a magikal plant I created...
...and we flew the skyrigger to Horizon...
...and came back to Earth 3 years later to find that WW3 had come and gone, nearly all the werewolves were dead, and the vampires were going through Ghenna.
And apparently Tzimisce has taken over the eastern seaboard. Next session will probably involve blasting Tzimisce with raw Quintessence to remove him from existence, so he can't regenerate. >.> -
Try learning how to use KB to your advantage.
