[/ QUOTE ]The problem with making Spines customizable is that they have to make animations customizable first; the projectile spines can't be changed by the weapon customization we already have, since they're part of the animation. And I doubt we're getting any animation customization in I16, so the best you can hope for, I think, is red bananas.

Then you need to learn how to search. Here is a helpful guide provided by Memphis Bill.

a tip on searching.
1. Click on "Search" up at the top of the forum.
2. On the left, under "Forum(s) to search," select "Suggestions and ideas."
3. On the right, Keyword Search Terms. This is probably where your problem was if you did search. Try the following, exactly as typed:

+vehicle -"re: "

This will search for anything with the string "vehicle" in the title.The -re: portion of it removes replies, so you'll see the root of every thread that comes up, letting you see just how many threads there are on this. (The last helps for other subjects, as well.)

Be sure to put the space between the colon and last quote.

4. Click the "In subject" radio button. This is a search, not a cute blonde in a bikini. Here, you want to ignore the body.

5. Leave Username Search blank.

6. Date range, Newer Than, change the 1 to a 3, and the time to Months.

7. Result format doesn't matter. Click on "Submit."


That should help you with your searches in the future.

I do know how to search, I'm pointing out that even with refinements in your searches, you can get thousands of responses.

And frankly, I don't think it matters that someone brought up an idea a year ago. If it's a decent idea, then maybe it deserves to be brought up more frequently. If only truly original, never-been-posted-before ideas/information/questions are allowed to be posted, we wouldn't have much of a forum.

Even the "search before you post" posts here have been brought up before.

I think the change being referred to here was changing it so enemies up to +5 go accuracy bonuses instead of to-hit bonuses... and bosses/elite bosses/archvillains getting 50% To-Hit and 1.5 accuracy instead of 75% to-hit.

I think of it as an aoe mag 1 stun that happens to rez team mates... and use it as such. In fact, it's frequently down when people die cause I'll have just used it in combat. But then people don't die often when I'm playing a dark miasma char.

So you've got a level 50 Thugs/Dark and he dies quickly? I'm not even going to ask what your slotting is, because even when working on my "No Enhancements" flashback badges, I didn't go down quickly with my Thugs/Dark. (And IIRC, I worked on "Self Debuff" and "Enemies Buffed" badges at the same time, though self debuff doesn't affect pets)

What do you do when you play? Do you know how to use Bodyguard Mode?

In terms of slot efficiency, immob, hold, and healing are all a waste. Slot enough recharge to make him perma (since MM Fluffy isn't perma out of the box, like he is for Corruptors and Defenders), slot with accuracy as you please (enough to make him hit; depends on how much you care about him hitting and whether you have Tactics), and them pump him full of tohit debuff enhancement.

Personally, I find Accuracy slotting not very important, since I have a well-slotted Tactics, and Fluffy's two strongest powers (Chill of the Night and Darkest Night) are both autohit. I've got several Dark Watcher's Despair, and a common Recharge IO in my Dark Servant.

Speaking of Dark Watcher's Despair, it's worth considering the DWD proc in Fluffy, too. Each of Twilight Grasp, Tenebrous Tentacles, Darkest Night, and Chill of the Night have a chance to fire the proc off, and it can stack. If you have the DWD proc in any of your own powers (possibilities: Twilight Grasp, Darkest Night, Fearsome Stare), that's just stacking it even more. At -25% rech each time it stacks, you can add a lot of mitigation. (And recharge floors at -75%, so you only need to stack it 3 times if the target doesn't have buffs)

You can make a Mission Computer available with 300,000 prestige: Oversight Center (50,000), Control Room 1 (100,000), Combo Power and Control Unit (25,000), Mainframe (50,000), and Mission Computer (75,000).

You don't even have to grind Prestige for that, since you get 20,000 prestige for each of the first 15 SG members. 20,000 * 15 = 300,000

Every SG I've got a character in has a mission computer, or the arcane equivalent. And in fact, I'd like to see at least a hero TF available out of it, since the CoP isn't.
