You just need more teammates who don't mind being your corpse bomb

Although, if it's something you use frequently, you should use /bindloadfilesilent, rather than /bindloadfile. The latter command will fill your system channel with spam messages notifying you that it's loading the files. The former won't give you any system messages.

Quote:I recall several versions of Microsoft Office telling me that I was placing multiple things onto the clipboard, but I never did figure out how to use that multi-clipboard. I just used it like I always have, and treated it as if there was only one thing thereI Don't know if you still can but you used to be able to get 3rd party software that not only allowed you to use the clipboard but store multiple things in it, but windows, last time i looked doesn't have anything to allow this natively.

Is this oWoD or nWoD? For oWoD, you might try checking out the Dark Ages: Vampire book, since elder vampire characters are more common in that game, so it's more likely they'd have rules for it written out in the sourcebook.
Exalted, for example, has a table in the Experience section for elder Exalts, or for long periods of downtime between sessions:
Code:While it's a different game, it's the same publisher and the same core system, so it might help youAge Max Essence Annual Exp* Base Exp** Exaltation to 99*** 5 10 None 100 to 249 6 5 +[(100 - Exaltation age) x 10] 250 to 499 7 4 +750 500 to 999 8 3 +1,000 1,000+ 9+ 2 +1,500 * Character receives half this amount for downtime between sessions ** Quick cumulative total for starting a character in this age bracket *** Calculate beginning with exaltation age, not birth

Wow, I'm glad I don't ever join your teams. I rarely delve into set IOs until I'm well over 40, and never before 35. My lv22 characters all get kitted out with common IOs, which you wouldn't be able to tell from looking at my powers tab info window.

Oh, my bad. I misremembered the system

Quote:Bingo. My guess is the NPC's has a certain cap level and cannot exceed that after certain levels so thus the level of the mish's cannot change, I am not sure?
In I16, you'll be exemplared to the level of the mission automatically. And there will be changes to the exemplar system so you don't just lose your fancy new powers just for outleveling a mission, or running a lower-level friend's mission.Quote:Not sure if any of the new additions in i16 are going to help this issue?
You'll be able to make the game treat you as any size team you like, which will just change the number of enemies (and bosses) that show up, and whether AVs downgrade to EBs. -
But CJ... if you Sourceforge it, they will come!
-
Correct (though many people will skip slotting Flash Arrow, but wouldn't think of skipping the -tohit slotting in Dark, which would end up making Dark approximately 50% stronger)

Quote:Brutes can tank. Brutes are not Tankers.Brutes don't tank, Corruptors don't blast, Dominators don't control, Stalkers don't scrap, and Masterminds don't do whatever hero archetype playstyle you might try to pigeonhole them into.
Corruptors can blast (and in fact, they have to). Corruptors are not Blasters (they're more like inverted Defenders, anyway).
Dominators can control. Dominators are not Controllers.
Stalkers can scrap (and I'd kick any Stalker that doesn't, because otherwise they're one-trick ponies). Stalkers are not Scrappers.
Masterminds... uh... let's call them "multitaskers". -
Quote:From everything I've heard before in such cases:It's a wild chance, but you can send an email to support with the all the pertinent character info (global, name, server, AT, level, etc) and the date the character was deleted.
I've heard of people getting characters back in extremely, extremely rare situations.- You need the character's name
- You need the date it was deleted (to an accuracy of one week)
- You need to ask for it to be undeleted within 6 months of the deletion taking place

I can totally see 40-45 in 4 hours, even without farming. Not solo without farming, but I can see it.

Quote:I believe that's a feature of WebKit (the open source layout engine Chrome uses), not a feature of Chrome, specifically.By "this thing" I assume you mean the edit box you enter text into.
There may be, but if you use Google's Chrome browser you can change the size of any multi-line text edit box on any web page. I use it all the time now because it's just SO convenient to change the edit box size.
Assuming I'm correct, that means the same feature is available in Konqueror, Safari, and OmniWeb, among others. -
-
The litte up and down arrows in the corner of the editor will change the (vertical) size, though I don't think it's permanent.

Not to mention the difference between knowing how to code, and knowing how to code on a team.

Quote:And with "super sidekicking" in I16, those badges are essentially going to be for running a team, period (or having the team run your missions)There's already one chain of badges that you have to team to get, why do we need another?

I only want one more, and only for one of my characters. My Mastermind had a "holiday" slot that I would use for events (eg, stocking cap and furry boots for winter event). But then I put a double cape in that slot with the Magic Pack, and can no longer alter the slot, or I'll lose the double cape forever.

Mids' will not be going open source.Quote:It's the perfect sort of app for open source. The person who took it over should seriously consider placing it under open source at the same place HeroStats is hosted -- as long as Mids is okay with that.
While Mids' will not be going open source, there's nothing stopping a group of players creating their own planner which is. While it would have to be from scratch, "from scratch" is what I'm doing for cross-platform Mids'.Quote:That doesn't mean an open source CoX builder wouldn't be a reasonable project. The project team could even use feature concepts from Mids or from Mids users. Building it from scratch wouldn't be nearly as easy as adapting the current model, but it would be easier as open source and that way it would be much more likely to be kept up to date.
Steiner and I are also reworking the Data Chunk/Data Link specification for the cross-platform version (at the moment, it's little more than the text of the build in ZIP format). After which, it'll be integrated into the normal Mids' so that both programs can read the same data. I'm sure it would be in the interests of all of us to have that specification public, so that any future programs created can also read the same data.
It doesQuote:RedTomax is fairly up to date for source data, at least for power information. I don't know if they have enhancements.
This is incorrect, and insulting. I can assure you that Steiner continues to work on Mids'. He has already released one version with some broken features, and he continues to work on it to fix those problems. Saying that he's probably blown it off all togehter is flat out wrong. -

Ouroboros doesn't give you any of the missions required for Efficiency Expert. The only Pither missions you can get in Ouroboros are his "Alone in the Darque" story arc, which doesn't count towards the badge.
