    WE!

In other news, thanks to Eabrace, I put up an animation of the new emote on Paragonwiki:

  5. Heroes have /em ListenPoliceBand available at all times.
Villains have /em ListenStolenPoliceBand with an identical animation, available after obtaining the Outlaw badge.

Heroes have /em Dice7, available after obtaining the Burkholder's Bane badge.

These are the only 3 emotes which are restricted to one side of the game (well, except CCPeacebringer and CCWarshade, but only PBs can use the former and only WSs can use the latter). Therefore, this suggestion:

Give Villains access to a /em CheatDice without the need to unlock it, and give it the same animation as the Heroes' /em Dice7.

    Dice7:

    ListenPoliceBand, ListenStolenPoliceBand:

(Heck, maybe create a CCWidow and CCSpider, too )

The same thing it does now. It's just that rather than "Endurance Modification" that we have now, it used to be "Endurance Drain" and "Endurance Recovery" enhancements.

And the Performance Shifter proc is still useful... if you slot it in a power that targets yourself, such as Stamina.
  7. Correct, you can only choose from the two specified.
  8. Paragonwiki doesn't mention the -Threat in Super Speed because the game doesn't mention it (unless you look at your Combat Attributes and notice your Threat being decreased by SS). For esoteric stats like Threat, you have to look at City of Data. Paragonwiki does have an article on Threat on its own, though.

As for Super Speed's "minor" stealth... it grants 35ft StealthRadius, the same as the power "Stealth"; the +Stealth IO grants 30ft of StealthRadius. An enemy can see you when you are within (Enemy's PerceptionRadius - Your StealthRadius).

Minions, pets, and Mastermind henchmen have a PercpetionRadius of 45ft, so with just SS, minions will see you when you're 10ft away (melee range is 7ft). Lieutenants have 50ft Perception. Bosses, Elite Bosses, and Archivillains and Heroes have 54ft Perception. Turrets and Giant Monsters have 100ft Perception. Snipers have 149ft Perception. Players have 500ft Perception.

So, for general gameplay, "Invisible" means 54ft stealth or more. SS + Stealth results in 70ft; SS + a Stealth IO is 65ft, both are invisible to the vast majority of enemies in the game.

Note: Some enemies have increased perception through powers (such as Vanguard Sword, or some PPD). Some enemies have normal Perception, but they ignore your stealth (Rikti drones, Rularuu sentries).

Reminds me of when I first played through Xenogears. Most types of enemies in the game would drop various items which were really only useful to sell for money. Except the items were generally... bits of the creature in question, like eyeballs or jerky.

My sister made a quip about "black market animal parts". Stuck in my head forevermore.

Go -1/x8 if you're just in it for the merits. The lower level enemies have the same chance to drop Vanguard merits, and you can kill them faster.

You'd need perma-PA though (or close to it) or it could get very painful.
I dunno about speed, but the only character I have personally witnessed solo a pylon was Ill/Storm.

Char, RoF, fire blast and fireball are all ranged attacks last I checked.
In fact, melee characters get ranged powers in their APP/PPPs specifically because they generally have none for the first 40 levels of the game. I don't know why Miss Freeze thinks a ranged APP for Scrappers isn't going to happen, since "ranged" is pretty much the definition of Scrapper APPs.
  16. If you're gonna go with Mastermind, I'd recommend lv6 over lv5 (get the first tier upgrade). I'd also look at a */Rad Corruptor: RI+EF is a powerful combo at any level, and AM would help a bit with any endurance issues you might have (plus buff your damage since you don't get SOs)

While I don't own a G* keyboard, I can say that no, you can't bind the G keys like normal keys. What you can do is use the software that comes with the keyboard to make the G keys into a macro of one or more normal keys together or in sequence. For example, you could program G1 to press Alt+1 and then 7, and assuming you have default bindings for CoH, that would be akin to executing the first power in your second tray and queueing your 7th power in your first tray.

I think there might be a G15 guide in the guides forum, too, if you want to go take a look.

If you have experience coding 3D environments, it's actually quite reasonable. While in affine space (the space most 3D applications compute things in, as opposed to Euclidean space you're used to), the axes don't actually matter. However, at some point the program needs to set an origin and a set of axes in order to transform the world into pixels on the graphics terminal.

A common convention is that when the camera has Pitch, Yaw, and Roll values of {0, 0, 0}, the camera's Up vector is {0, 1, 0} (positive Y is up), and the camera's Forward vector is {0, 0, -1} (negative Z is forward). If {0} PYR for the camera in this game means facing north with Up being along the Y axis, then all of the coordinates are fully explained.

The problem isn't that the coordinate system is confusing. The problem is that the /loc command was primarily designed for debugging and development, not for use by players. As such, the values returned by /loc are relevant to the manner in which the game's math is set up (and it's a common setup for 3D applications), not to what the player expects while zooming around the city.

Worth mentioning: This isn't a list of "best" MMOs, but a ranking of MMOs that left a significant impact on the MMO industry. The #2 spot is given to Star Wars Galaxies because the ****** everything up with the NGE. The #5 spot is given to Dungeons and Dragons Online because it successfully switched from subscription to free-to-play + item mall. The #6 spot is given to Darkfall because it rose from the dead, not because of any redeeming quality of the game itself.

  22. No badges for me. Most likely due to the accidental master account ban I got a little while ago. When the CS rep investigated it, they told me the ban was a mistake, so maybe I can get the badges if I put in a support ticket about it...
