  1. Scrappers love to be followed by Stormies running Hurricane. They'll give you more attention than you ever thought possible.

Please define "decent enough video card".

I've got a tingling sensation suggesting "decent enough" actually means "integrated graphics".

I don't measure intelligence by speed. I measure speed by FLOPS

Or because the person who wrote the library you're using coded it wrong. Or because the person who created the interpreter did it wrong. Or because the person who created the compiler did it wrong. Or because the person who created the lexer it it wrong. Or because the person who created the hardware did it wrong. Or because there was a mechanical malfunction (such as a disruption of electricity). Or because cosmic rays caused your client computer to mutate into an elephant.

Safest team I've ever been on was a team of 4 Stormies releasing everything they had. Hurricane, Tornado, Freezing Rain, Lightning Storm... the critters couldn't stand long enough to fire off a shot, much less kill any of us

Technically, that's Y-axis control, since this game uses +Y as Up (And -Z as Forward when the camera is at PYR of {0, 0, 0})

Hah! Did I seriously nail your route in one guess?

I used Requin last year for my route to get the badge on my MM, along with a few spots on the mainland. IIRC, I combined it with smacking around Hellfrosts for that badge, too.

Also also, Paragonwiki is a part of the Titan Network (cohtitan.com), so people who use a lot of Titan Network sites (like CoH Faces and City Info Tracker) may be more used to a *.cohtitan.com domain. The link from the cohtitan.com homepage for Paragonwiki uses the wiki.cohtitan.com URL as well.

  13. The point of knockback

(Also, because an enemy geting knocked through the air or getting stuck on a slope due to ragdoll physics can't shoot back at you)

Knockback can sometimes be difficult to control (an AoE KB power can easily scatter enemies around, making further AoEs less effective), but in general it's not nearly the problem that some people make it out to be. If someone is complaining that they have to press W in order to play the game, they're probably not worth teaming with.

  15. Banner? What banner?

    ...

Oh. Right. The banner I adblocked so that I wouldn't have to waste time loading it and it wouldn't be immediately obvious to someone looking over my shoulder that I'm reading a video game forum.

Considering they just added a new version of the heroside Cape mission, I'd say the answer to the only question you've actually asked is, "yes, they can"

Of course, most of the current dev time is being locked up by Going Rogue, and actual content is usually released with Issues rather than mid-Issue patches, anyway.

Yes. But MovementControl/MovementFriction (which Inertial Reduction is the best singe source for in the game) does make a huge difference.

Depends on the animation in question. For example, if you look at the Emotes page on Paragonwiki, you'll notice a column labeled "Flying". Some emotes are listed with "Standing", which means it plays the normal animation with your character standing in midair. Some emotes are listed with "Flying", which means it plays a specifically different flying version of the animation (usually with the character's feet dangling). Others are listed with "No", meaning the emote won't play at all while in the air.

Except it is silly. You can't do a backflip and dodge an attack directed at your mind. You've got to concentrate and block the probing mind from dominating and scrambling your thoughts.

Most lv32+ Masterminds are good for this feeling. I ran my Thugs/Dark through Operative Grillo's Escaped! twice the other day at -1/x8 difficulty (working on the Infiltrator badge), and it was awesome to just wade through a sea of Crey falling dead left and right.
