What's more disturbing is the fact that this newt uses Build Up in advance. (By producing the poison before extending its ribs)

I will admit, real world logos would never happen here.

But it does remind me fondly of an old Marvel RPG that I was in with a few friends where one guy's character was literally a super-speedster sponsored by UPS. He worked as a delivery man. He was their public face. He wore the logos.

It was fething hilarious when it was later leaked out that his powers were 'tweaked' by Mr. Sinister.

One would think you keep the uniform's original markings and brands, or at least get access to a 'vandalised' or defaced version of the symbols.

Going Rogue is horrible and cruel. RPwise I love what it opens. I will be able to bring the Stalker and Brute versions over to blueside while shifting the blaster version of another to redside.

But then there's things to remake and reroll. I'll finally be able to make Agent Rogue Epsilon properly (no more petless MM!) - partly due to the new powersets, partly due to the Cyborg pack having robotic limbs that don't suck and make sense for a Malta Operative.

And last of all....

I really just want I16.

Two hours of a redhead and brunette with fabulous breasts punctuated by explosions every five minutes. I enjoyed it.

The only thing that really killed the movie was the random trailer for Avatar. Blue catpeople are not my cup of tea.

I give that a 1/10. Put some effort in, you fell way short on the delivery there.

Corporate logos, even if only for ingame factions would be nice. The idea of a company sponsored team of heroes is hilarious and even more so if you choose to do it Crey. Hey, whole RP stick there, with the heroes not knowing the truth of their sponsors!

And there lies the ultimate tragedy of Whedon. Buffy was a success. By its dying days a success that had bloated on commercialism and still lives off that life support, which is more the pity. I think of Buffy and I remember....

Nothing. Seriously, none of the characters grabbed my attention long enough to matter a damn. Hell, the ones that did all went off into other series shortly after. I wasn't even a fan of the plot which basically became 'what's the great big threat to the world this week?' After the first few series it just spiralled and I cried inside.

And Grae? What you're pointing out is the Fox effect.

Take a good series. Give it to Fox. Watch it get cancelled. Watch it become a cult hit.


And Roy?

Agreed. Sentry is Marvel's Deus Ex. In fact, he's basically the counterpart to DC's Deus Ex just with more mental issues. Agents of Atlas is great because it ties to that continuity. The fact that they're all mentally set a good fifty years in the past is what makes it work. That and everything works better with monkeys.

Also....

I will admit. I like Marvel. I much prefer Marvel over DC which seems to not have evolved with the times. Some part of me just loves a universe where everyone is a mental screwball that needs serious help rather than one where everyone is perfect apart from the one nutjob screwball who is just nails and the woman who seems to have a weakness for bondage exploited with EVERY DAMN ISSUE.

I'm semi fond of Dark Horse. Semi fond. I tolerate some of it happily. Then they fart Buffy at me and I cringe.

Buffy was...meh. Seriously, it was Joss Whedon at his worse.

Angel suddenly realised satire and wit were utterly appropriate and started utilising those wonderful tools.

Firefly followed this trend.

In short...

Buffy was the training wheels for Whedon's directing career.

Try the Pern series. Semi sci fi, semi fantasy. I must confess I'm rather fond of the entire series.
