So then they don't do anything different. Just like the "Dev controlled" Praetorian invasion where they spawned in with a bunch of mobs and just stood there. How exciting.

So what do the do differently? Everything I've seen shows them all in a group getting cut down by all the AoEs like every invasion.

So from what I hear Captain Mako's event is just a limited invasion. Is there a badge or can I skip it?

In order for the villains to be a threat they have to win. What parts of Paragon City do you want to give up? Which heroes should they kill? Xanatos gambits are bull s***. It's just a way for the writers to make you think the villain is winning even when they're still losing just like always.

I think this has been (despite the snipeing) a spectacularly good thread which has raised a lot of questions about where the game is headed. My question for any one who would know is does DCU Online treat Superman and Batman like this. Are they a bunch of little b****es that need you to save them time and time again. Teaming up with some one from the FP should be like, "I hope I don't F up to much in front of them" Them saying something good about you should make you feel proud. Now it's just, "Yeah. Whatever. Glad I could save your ***"

To be on par with the FP should be a goal that you can get close to but never quite match.

I confess that being addressed as a noob for 50 levels is insulting but taking it in the other direction is just as stupid.

I should be a slow progression. Level 1 - 20 you should be treated like a noob. 20 -40 should be "Hey your competent. Come help out on this problem" 40 - 50 you should be treated with a fair amount of respect. Any one not treating you with respect should be that the don't like supers or don't like your origin type.

I find it hard to believe that Recluse would let Shark's Head slip away. It's his primary "legal" source of income. I refer to the bauxite mines, which is also pretty much the only reason the U.S. hasn't come in and kicked ***.

Nonononononono! You got this all wrong. Gossamer nukes the Rouge Islands. 1st strike puts out a big enough emp and does enough damage that the follow up strikes over whelm the point defense and the whole thing is wiped out.

Siren's call is the interment zone for the survivors and all new villain content is added to Paragon City.

The resultant electrical/radiological kerfuffle shuts down all interdimentional travel.

No more split player base. No more endless complaints that one side is favored over the other. Wins all around.

For all the people who have said the prefer the status quo you do realize that if there is not a sequel we are on the clock. That in 5 maybe 8 years this game will not exist. It might be longer but it is finite. It will end and be no more. What will you do then? "I don't want to start over in a new MMO" is short sighted. It's start over or go home.

That so many of you have said you won't try something new is shocking. that you've stated once this game is done, your done as well (with MMOs). Words escape me.

Bases. Bases are the ur example of why they need a CoH2. Let me say this about bases. They're a nice place to store my stuff and they help me get from point a to point b faster but if they disappeared tomorrow I wouldn't really care. The point being they can not touch them. They have said point blank that any attempted change to base would crash the whole (bases) system.

How many other systems in the game are close to that? I mean bases shipped with CoV. It was actually part of the game and it's so arcane that they dare not touch it. I have to assume that there are similar systems that are severely limiting what they can do with the game.

So then the consensus is that the game will continue on for a few more years, slip into maintenance mode and fade away, the IP will gather dust and that will be the end?

That’s a shame. I guess my grand kids will have to listen to my stories of the Golden Age of Paragon, The City of Heroes instead of playing the latest iteration.

Well will it? I like this game universe. I like that it's casual friendly. I'd like to see them tackle this with new tech and see what they come up with.

I just realized Penny aged up but poor Katie Hannon is still stuck at her TF age. I think it's unfair. Help me convince the devs to age Katie and all the signature heroes. I think BB is ready for Social Security. Ms. Liberty is almost 30.

What does a native of the Rogue Isles sound like? Do the have some sort of French or mid European accent? Is it a mid Atlantic one? With their back ground it should not sound American.

How many professional sports teams are in Paragon? With this number of heroes are there even professional sports in this world?

How many radio stations does Paragon have? Which is the classic rock one? What one programs rap? Country music? All news?

Is the University part of the Rhode Island educational system or is it confined to Paragon?
Do they offer degrees in anything besides IO's?

How many TV stations are there? How many news papers?

Why in 8 years has there never been an election for mayor?

Some one above mentioned plot holes. Plot holes don't necessarily kill a movie. However there are many and they are all the size of Wayne Manor.

Still I give it a "meh". I didn't walk out but I'll never watch it again.

Well I've been messing around with this guy and getting to know how the powers work and it's starting to get fun. Who knew? Still think I have a way to go but it's coming along. Few more TF's and he might be ready for respec and IO sets.
