Tis a shame to see you go, but I can understand as I myself am leaving for a little while in a few months when my sub runs out (as you know from the SO forum).
Iv become a little tiered of it too (as Iv been playing for 2 years now without dropping the sub once).
I'll be giving some other games ago before inevitably returning home to paragon

I hope we will see you again soon mate (and hopefully you wont return just as I leave) Failing seeing you in paragon again, hopefully us and the other SO Agents can hook up again when champions comes out

I haven't RP'd much but am interested to start and most of my characters are Defiant. I know there are others out there that would like to see more RP on defiant.
Myself and a few SG friends are intending to set up some RP events such as an RP team (casually run some missions and RP as we go) and some RPing in general around the game.
(at first I think its gonna be sg only for the team one but I'm sure no one would mind other RPers joining us if they don't mind listening to some of our sg background RP)

Not sure when we will be doing this as the main player that is running it is on a short break at the moment.

As to the Omega's suggestion, if someone did set something up Id join in.

Yeah I personally would have hoped for a choice to have more than one VEAT costume as well (for helmet/no helmet or colour changes etc.) but I guess we cant ask for too much. We wernt even supposed to be getting VEATs this issue anyway so what the hey, I guess I'll just be wearing my first costume a lot and visiting the tailor a lot when i want to take my helmet off or whatever

The only other gripe I have with the costumes is how banes are just crabs without the backpack (and as a result are a little too on the 'beefy' side)

Also I will be looking forward to helmetless wolfs and particularly 'buttcapes' for widows post I12 release

Basically Wolfs and widows for players wont be gender specific but in game they will remain as they are.

yup there has been a statement somewhere saying no restriction for either (cant find it now though)
Also in he offical announcement on the website the picture of the SoA has male widows and female wolf/bane spiders

Yeah it seems like we are using a vote system but we are just showing our support the decision is down to the moderates and as Baron said I wouldn't like to be in their shoes

bumping aside, the Cylone Invasion Force is The Karma Police's PvP sg.

The following is a transcript of an interview conducted by Anne Masters for AMD Business news.

Anne: Hello and welcome to AMD. I am here at the Cobalt Corporation head offices in Skyway City with business extraordinaire Ms Amanda Blue.

So Amanda, you are the founder of Cobalt Corporation, a number of charity organisations and most recently H.E.R.O. as well as being a well known crime fighter. Could you tell me how is it that you became the founder of so many successful companies as well as finding the time to lead a hero’s life?

Amanda Blue: Well it all started early on in my childhood with my only friends Leonard White & Aloysius Red. We were the freaks, the ones that no-one wanted anything to do with. Leo with his power to absorb emotion and Aloysius and I, the child geniuses with an aptitude for chemistry, technology and business. In school we used to work together to outwit those that picked on us, often getting them into trouble with the teachers and on one or two occasions made the bullies feel quite unwell [Amanda laughs slightly].

The year after we left school we set up our own company together. Together we were more successful in one year than most are in a lifetime. With our combined passions and abilities we were able create a business that was massively profitable, virtually from the moment it began. For the first time we were all happy with our lives and were constantly filled with new ideas for the future. However, it seemed fate had ideas of its own for us. As the year came to an end, so did our happiness together. Leo, who was always the smallest and quietest of the 3 of us, had changed over the year of our success. Whenever he was around us he seemed to grow irritable, bad tempered and irrational. Physically he seemed to explode, the once diminutive child was lost forever replaced by the hulking, almost beast like frame of Mr Leonard White, the man Leo had become. Eventually even being in the same room as me and Aloysius was too much for him. One night Leo vanished, leaving us on our own.

Once he had gone things quickly fell apart. The business collapsed as Aloysius and I bickered almost constantly over all the decisions that could have saved our company. It did not take us long to decide to sell out what was left of the company and go our separate ways. From then on it was clear to me that I should put my intellect, money and technology to better use than just for my personal gain.

I set up a number of charitable non-profit organisations and funded research into new technology to help the blind. Eventually I began to work with the scientists whom were putting my money to good use and together we successfully created a wonderful piece of technology that could enhance the senses of any visually impaired person and in the case of those that still had some limited sight it even allowed them to see clearly again.

Following this success I had relatively little to occupy my time. Out of boredom I ended up founding a new company, Cobalt Corp., the first profit making business I had founded since Aloysius, Leo and I had gone our separate ways. I used strategies that the 3 of us had devised together and they worked as brilliantly as they had the first time around. I sold technology I had created myself via Cobalt and it was not long before someone spotted their possible military uses. I received many offers to buy the rights for my inventions so that they could be used in the army, but this was not what I had envisioned for them. They had always been made to help those needier than me and I refused to sell. However the propositions did open my eyes to new possibilities; despite the fact that I had always watched heroes with awe in my youth, it had never occurred to me that I could be one myself. It now seemed clear to me that the best way forward was to continue running my business selling my technology to those who needed it by day and by night use the technology myself to fight crime in Paragon City.

About a month ago I received a call from Leonard, asking me if I would like to go into business with him again. Of course I was ecstatic at the proposition and leapt at the possibility of meeting with my old friend again. That is until the day actually arrived...

In all the years that passed between the collapse of my first company and the reappearance of Mr White I only ever came directly into contact with Aloysius once, that however is another story that shall be told in good time. However, the event that occurred during that brief encounter was the reason that I was so angry when I met with Leo; He had also called another old ‘friend’, Dr Aloysius Red. Mr White wanted the 3 of us to play happy families and start up a new organisation together. Damn Dr Red! He was the reason I was stuck with this god awful scar. I would gladly send him to the Zig again if only I thought he’d actually stay there this time and if it would mean I could be in business with Mr White without him...

[Amanda clears her throat] Anyway, eventually I proposed that I found a separate organisation, H.E.R.O, in order to work with Mr White’s company, S.C.Q.. Unsurprisingly Dr Red had had the same idea and had founded B.R.P.E..

This allowed us to work on Mr White’s proposed project (The Supreme Super-being Award Ceremony) together whilst at the same time keeping a comfortable distance between us.

I later found that the project was in fact the brain child of a fellow hero named Lady Leprechaun, whom I have met with on many occasions now and I am very happy to be working with her along with Leo... and Aloysius. And that is really all there is to it.

The SO Network is sort of an RP SG. It has a lot of background to all 6 of its sg (seems a bit odd to have 6 i know.. may become just one)
We have no official RP event atm but we are talking about setting up some soon.

cool, dunno about this weekend coz I'll be on a lower lvl toon (lvl 18 MM) for a VG event for most of the day.
Should prob be on a fair bit for a couple of weeks though coz Im on holiday frm college.

Well it seems no one else likes my idea lol.

As I'm sure everyone is now well aware, VEATs are coming!
I'm also fairly certain that I’m not the only one that has trouble finding teams vill side and find it quite gruelling crawling through the levels by my lonesome.

So heres what I would like to propose;
If you are in the same position as me and have a lvl 40+ villain on defiant that you desperately want to get to the big 5 0 before i12 but don't think you will make it on your own, come team with myself and anyone else that’s interested on a prearranged day(s) and time every week.
This way we can rake in the XP, have some fun and hopefully all make the dash to lvl 50 before i12 hits live (which I estimate will be in about a month).

Anyone up for it?
