    Roll a SS/SD/Mu Brute then.
  2. I rolled an alt on Israphel, currently a lvl 10 Sorcerer. Would anyone be able to invite me to the legion?
  3. With a tri-form WS you really don't need health and stamina since you should be changing forms a lot to be effective, but hey that's just my experience with a WS.

    Farming options

I would definitely choose a SS Brute over a Dom for farming. They're much better for killing bosses and are now better at killing LT's and minions too.

I used to clear the nemesis platform in around 5 minutes with my Fire/Psi, but it's much slower now, mostly because of the radius decrease in PSW. Although, my SS/Fire Brute clears it around 7-8 minutes. That's 240 critters per run, but I usually just run +2x8 Liberate since the difficulty settings.
  6. There is no "best" for the ITF or for any TF for that manner. I've ran many, many ITF's with various team makeups. I usually complete them in around 20 minutes any buffer/debuffer is always a plus to have though.

But, if I had to choose any support I would go with cold, not for their buffs but for their debuffs.

    Speed ITF Record

Personally, I like to both speed runs and regular killing ITFs, both are fun to me in different ways. Anyway, it is possible to do a speed MoITF with the right team makeup and people who know what they're doing.

    Faathim brag...

I don't think they should necessarily revamp the Shadow Shard, but I'd definitely be in favor of some added content to it.

And you have every right to. I'm just giving you some feedback that you asked for from my experiences. I just think since you're already softcapped to all 3 positions that you would benefit more from other set bonuses or some more positional defense to counteract defense debuffs.
  10. It really depends what you want out of it. Mu mastery would be better for AoE damage with elec fences and ball lightning. Although, if you wanna focus on PvP more I would definitely go Soul for the ranged ST damage, between that and Hurl it should be fun times.
  11. Cool, how long did it take you guys to do this?
  12. I personally don't like damage procs in damage auras since they only have a chance to go off every 10 seconds. Granted you have 4 in each you'll notice a difference, but if it was me, I would put them in some of your attacks instead. You can cycle through TS, SB and Ripper in less than 10 seconds. IMO you should move 3 procs over to those powers.

Also, it's a good idea to note that each tick of BA you'll lose about 10 damage upfront and about 7 from Quills.
  13. Here's the build I use for my Spines/Fire. I originally made it for boss farming and I was able to solo very well with it, but we all know how that is. So, now I either demon farm or farm the council empire map given by Unai, both +2/8. Although, I mostly use the council empire map because demons have a lot more runners and primarily like to shoot from range.

If DSorrow is using the same council map as me, no there are no defense debuffs. So, defense actually works really well. One purple softcaps melee defense and put S/L up to around 37%.

I'm sure it will, this movie is suppose to have the best CGI to date. Anyways, I'm going to see this in Imax in NYC.
  15. Seriously, my SS/Fire is great for more than just farming.

I love TF'ing with it, all those buffs and debuffs allow for even more massive damage without having to worry about survivability as much, it's also not half bad in PvP.
  16. Fiery-Enforcer

    Fire/Sonic

I agree running all of those toggles can be end heavy. I'd advise to pick up Power Sink if you're not set on a specific patron set. That way you can mainly focus on slotting for recharge without having to worry about endurance.

    Speed ITF Record

Yea I was on one of the 22 minute runs WC did way back, great time nonetheless.

Although, 15 minutes is a nice time to work towards to.
  18. Fiery-Enforcer

    Speed ITF Record

I had no idea we were going that fast. It was an awesome run.
  19. Silas is right, it's hard to build for a noticeable amount of defense while getting a loads amount of recharge, which SS is definitely in need of.

Fiery Embrace, I wouldn't skip. Why go /Fire and skip the powers that offer more damage, which the set excels at. Although, the damage for Burn caps before FE, it really helps boost the damage of Blazing Aura.

As to your question of what to drop for Hasten and FE, I would drop Weave and Assault. Weave doesn't make that much of a difference if you don't have a significant amount of global defense and Assault is pretty much useless with Rage + Fury.

Here's my build I've used for a while. It's built towards +rech, +recovery and +HP. I'm sure I could tweak it to be a little better, but it has done me well with putting out massive AoE damage and ST damage that is nothing to laugh at.

  20. Personally, I think it's pointless to aim to softcap psi defense when you're already softcapped to all 3 positions. Instead with my Fort I softcapped all 3 positions without Mind Link, so with Mind Link up I'm sitting at around 60% to everything. This means defense debuffs won't mean as much.

Also, if you want a little bit more survivability, +HP and +Regen work great with defense sets. You won't notice anything from losing the psi defense. I've "tanked" a MoLRSF before with my Fort with minimal problems.
  21. It all went good, so that's all that matters in the end. With the lack of usual attendees, it actually gave some others experience in leading teams and such. Probably around half of the people on the spike team never did a redside raid before.

With that said, good job everyone.

If you can't handle a boss, you are doing it wrong. Every single AT and power set has the ability to defeat a spawn with a boss.

If you find it just un-fun, well good news everybody, they give you the option to turn bosses off.

But I want to fight a boss at some point like the end guy!

/shrug welcome to the world of not everything revolves around you.

Adapt, learn to play, move on.
Actually with this "bug" there is no option to turn bosses off. I've tested it out with the prefer fighting bosses while solo option on and off, the result was the same.

This was with the settings +3x6 and there were bosses in many spawns. Now, I'm not complaining or anything, but a team size of 6 isn't suppose to spawn any bosses.
  23. Yea I'm not saying the damage is terrible, it's still rather pretty good, but to make good use of Psi-Scream you need to be pretty far back. While you do that damage briefly stops from Hot Feet.

Being able to just stand in the middle of a group with say a SS/Fire is much more convenient. With ticks of 50 or so damage from Blazing Aura, plus Elec Fences, Burn and Ball Lightning, things will just fall a lot faster.

Although, pre-i15 the similar idea was used to just stand in the middle of a mob and spam PSW. Then on my Fire/Psi I pretty much had capped damage, double proc'd PSW recharging in 2.5 seconds.

Eh, I personally don't like Fire Breath, but I do have it on my Fire/Sonic Corr for the extra AoE damage. To make good use of it you really need to be standing pretty far back because the arc on the cone isn't that wide.

Though, I may be a bit biased, I don't really like any Cones really with the exception of Trow Spines.

When I build a team I usually don't care what anyone brings unless it's something challenging like a masters TF. I don't necessarily look for specific powers, but I expect a toon to have those "key" powers.

I know people will build their toons the way they want to and they should be able to. That doesn't mean I won't expect them to have certain powers .I expect an Emp to have Fort, Kin SB, Tank Taunt....well not really, probably only for an MSTF.

A Kin without SB is probably the most common one. A lot of people with farming builds don't take it, though personally I wouldn't build a Fire/Kin farmer much different than a teaming build.

In my opinion, not counting IO sets, +def is not really one of the strong-suits of /WP, and a situation where def crashes is one where the set should shine.

    But it doesn't.
That's the thing, no defense isn't the strongest part of WP because of its poor debuff resistance. Cimerorians can easily drop your defense to the negatives pretty quickly.
