Quote:Pyre is good, I don't really like elec fences, so. Although, I wouldn't take melt armor, it's pretty bad overall. Long recharge, cost a lot of end, and has small debuff values.I would suggest considering SS/fire/pyre as another option. I respec'd my SS/fire/mu to SS/fire/pyre and have been quite pleased. With the changes to FE, fireball is a very attractive TAoE and, with the fear effect removed from burn, I have not missed the immob effect of elec fences...mostly. The -res effect of melt armor is not bad either.

Of course you know that we need to use more inspirations "to get the job done." I guarantee that you have to use the same amount of inspirations to survive those +4 ambush farms, capped resistance doesn't cut it against them. Pro tip, I use red inspirations more than anything.
And are you talking about putting Healing Flames on auto? That's just terrible and doesn't make a difference, you're still animating the power which equals to less killing time. -

Isn't Rage crash only a 10% defense debuff? I don't really pay attention to it since I play a resistance based toon.
-
-
Shield is still good, but if you're set on making a shield toon, I would go with a Scrapper since they get more out of AAO. SS/Fire has Burn and FE, it's just that good.
-
Running out of end because you choose not to take stamina or don't have it yet doesn't make the game challenging, just annoying.

Week 2 - Easy Kills vs. Broken Chains
2-0 Easy Kills
2-0 Easy Kills
1-0 Easy Kills
Thanks for the matches considering what we had to deal with. -
I never said I had 70% fire resistance, my build has 82%. Once I get the +res proc it'll put it up to 85%. The issue is, if I don't die without capped resistance, why pick a power that's pretty much useless to me?
-
I'd like to see your builds, oh build master.
-
-
Regardless, you don't need capped resistance. I do fine against all fire damage, I'd rather not take a power that has minimal benefits.

Redside means I don't have to bring lolmelee.
-
No mixed feelings here, why should I complain about a buff? Sure, I have to rework pretty much all of my builds, but for a good reason, they will become better. For those not wanting to respec, I believe Castle said the change will only effect characters after they respec. So if you want to purposely gimp yourself, go ahead.

I would go with the Brute since the Scrapper doesn't have a taunt aura. Spin has a small radius so the taunt helps a lot.
-
I haven't seen SS/Fire Brute mentioned, that would be my top choice.
-
I would slot the AH proc, but not the Guassian's.
-
Yes, it makes softcapping S/L defense easier now.
-
This change will benefit my staminaless Stalker. All of my other characters can now take Concealment and Leadership.

I see this a lot when people bring up farming, others telling them to just play the game. I assume when people ask about farming, it's because they want to.
Although, I do agree that you should play up your first character the old fashion way since farming is what lvl 50s usually do.
