Easy Kills is looking for another team member. PM me if you're interested.

If you don't want to go with IW, you could softcap your S/L defense and take Acrobatics. Breakfree's should still be carried, however a lot of the mezzes won't get through and Acro will help with the holds that do. Not to mention softcapping your defense will greatly increase your survivability.
-
The only build I have Fly on is my Fire/Rad Corr which has softcapped ranged defense and I use for soloing GM's and such. Other than that, I can get anywhere with SS + CJ + Hurdle besides hovering in the air in the middle of nowhere.

Sorry that we didn't play to lose like you wanted us to. If our only intention was to tie, we would've stayed hidden the entire time. Like I said before, we made some attempts to get a kill and was almost successful. I'm just telling you how it is, but it looks like you've drawn your own conclusion.

I really don't see the point of making a new league with all the same people from this one. It's just gonna split everyone up and end up in everything falling apart.
We asked you to drop for 2v2's and you declined, which you had the right to. If your only concern other than winning was for everyone to play, you could have rotated who sat out each match, but that's besides the point. If I recall, you guys won the first match. We rolled with two therms the first match and I spent practically the entire match healing, which left no time for spikes. Unless you wanted us to play recklessly and have the results be 12-0 instead of 1-0. So, we decided to change things up and actually have a chance to win with our handicap. And in the 2nd match we came really close in taking Smeede down.
Listen, I don't want 0utcazt to drop from the league, nor was that our intention with our matches last night. I think you guys need to stop taking everything so personal and just have some fun. -

Also, I'd like to add that if anything needs to be looked at, it's the HO drops. It appears that about 75% of the time when I go for the random HO, it turns out to be a Centriole. It's gotten to the point where I just delete them if I get one since I already have so many stored in my base and yet I've never gotten a Ribosome or Microfilament.

I really don't think the purple drop rates have been changed. I've gotten 7 purple drops since GR went live, but the catch is those purples were either from the sleep or confuse sets. So, otherwise I haven't gotten anything good.

You really don't NEED defense, but it will certainly help. 35% defense will make a huge difference depending on what you're fighting, that's about how much my Spines/Fire has. Although, my advice is if you haven't already made character yet, I would roll it as a Brute.
/FA works best on a Brute IMO. Unlike the Scrapper version, there's a taunt component in Blazing Aura, which is invaluable and keeps mobs from spreading out. Also, the Brute has higher res caps so if you decide to fight against fire enemies, you'll have the edge. Although, the 75% cap Scrappers get would be fine.
So, if you haven't decided yet, I would roll a SS/Fire Brute, there's no better farmer. -
I can't fully commit to another time, but I might be able to do tomorrow night. Although, that's only if the rest of the team can make it, which will be problematic to decide on short notice.

I think it's worth it. My Mind/Fire is softcapped to S/L and has Permadom without Hasten.

Quote:Yes. Leviathan and Soul Mastery would be my two picks to use. Also, you don't have to redo a patron arc, once it's completed, you can pick from any of PPP's.On my Rad/Therm I have lev as my patron power. Is this exceptable for my Ancillary pool, or am I better off with another type of Epic pool? The reason I ask this is most people post that Web is better, and I wasn't sure if I could redo the Patron Arch quest? If this is acceptable which pool powers would benefit my corr?

Meh, my Fire/SD can keep aggro fine and can steal aggro from Tanks.

Quote:You are seriously underestimating what a team of Corruptors and Defenders can do. Without any of the silly restrictions, I'd probably roll with a team like this:I knew that people would not choose melee if it was a totally optimized team- that's why I included the ruleset. However, regardless of players wanting to stick 8 Defenders/Corruptors on a team, on the ITF when you have +4 bosses, EB's and AV's, I seriously am doubting it can be done - not only in that timeframe, but also feasibly.
Fire/Shield Scrapper
Sonic/Cold Corruptor
Fire/Cold Corruptor
Fire/Cold Corruptor
Fire/Therm Corruptor
Fire/Dark Corruptor
Fire/Rad Corruptor
Fire/Kin Controller -
Damage capped Corrs with lots of stacked -resistance should certainly out damage Blasters.
-
With the rules, I'd probably go with something like this:
Fire/Shield Scrapper
DM/Shield Scrapper
SS/Fire Brute
Cold/Sonic Defender
Sonic/Cold Corruptor
Fire/Cold Corruptor
Fire/Therm Corruptor
Fire/Kin Corruptor -
Yeah, DB is better on a Scrapper, but /DA is better for Brutes because Scrappers don't get a taunt in Death Shroud.

How does any of that have to do with Tanks being unbalanced compared to other AT's? People may criticize Tanks more than other AT's, so what? Either lrn2play so people don't have a reason to criticize or ignore the idiots with these unreasonable expectations.
It sounds like you won't be happy with Tanks until they do damage on par with Scrappers. -
I'd personally like to see some additional purple sets with different kinds of set bonuses.
-
You need about +200% recharge with 99% rech reduction in Rage to be able to perma double stack it. I find it highly unlikely to triple stack it even with the FF +rech proc.
-
Well of course Colds don't contribute to damage spikes, but they can reduce the effectiveness of emps and other healers which can make a huge difference. Although, my Cold can contribute to damage spikes, but that's because it's a dual role toon. To say that Colds are completely horrible is wrong.

I think you limited your power selections and slotting to build this way. You would be much better off with Ice Mastery to softcap defense easier and for Sleet. Or if you want the resist shield, I would go with Fire Mastery instead and also take Fireball and Rain of Fire. Psi Mastery is pretty lackluster, Link Minds only gives a small amount of defense and it's not even perma.
Drain Psyche is severely underslotted, it deserves 6 slots. You can hit the regen cap with it slotted up. If you decide to use Fire Mastery and slot up the attacks you might not be able to reach the softcap, but the extra damage would be worth it IMO. You could still get enough defense to make a big difference. Layer that with resistance, regen, controls, and extra damage, you'll be pretty tough even if you're not softcapped.
