What Psy said. WP doesn't take much to be effective, just slot up HPT to cap your HP and get a stealth proc and you're good to go.

Well I just typed out something kind of long and the forums decided to delete it so I'll just post my i19 build instead. It's going to use the Spiritual Core Paragon Alpha Slot for an extra 45% recharge global enhancement to all powers. The only thing that is wrong is the slotting in Sleet since I have an older modified mids. It's going to use a Posi's Blast proc, Achilles Heel proc, Analyze Weakness Acc/Rech, and Touch of Lady Grey DefDeb/Rech.
It has Permadom without Hasten and will have Permahasten with just the base slot. I built mine for similar reasons as GAM, soloing stuff and it does a good job at it.

I built my Mind/Fire as a ST killing machine. Lots of AoE doesn't mesh that well with Mind IMO, but you can certainly make it work. Fire Mastery definitely works better with a primary that has an AoE immob, so you can leverage RoF better. Although, it does work well with your secondary because of Fiery Embrace.
Your build went the opposite direction as mine, you completely gutted your ST damage by not taking Fire Blast or Incinerate, which is the greatest strength of /Fire. As far as S/L defense goes, I don't see how I lost anything, my build has more recharge and softcapped S/L defense. If you plan on just rolling through mobs with AoE's, defense will certainly help more since you're not going to have Total Dom or Mass Confuse up every spawn, but I understand you'll lose Fireball and RoF that way. -
Long recharge and the fact that Mind has a ton of controls without it.

Quote:Like you mean Incarnates?I was refering something TO DO when you hit 50, like extra material when you hit 50, I know theres STF and RSF, but I was thinking something more substantial.
You're assuming that was their first play through. I don't see a problem with PL'ing if somebody wished to do so, since I do it myself. -
Quote:That is why I call a group of enemies a mob, because they're a mob.An abbreviation might be a perfectly normal English construct, but MOB as an abbreviation is not normal English. It is either game or military (IIRC. andprobably why it's game) terminology.
In perfectly "normal" English, guess what, "mob" is a WORD! Meaning :
- a disorderly crowd of people
- syndicate: a loose affiliation of gangsters in charge of organized criminal activities
- throng: press tightly together or cram; "The crowd packed the auditorium"
- gang: an association of criminals; "police tried to break up the gang"; "a pack of thieves"
So, deal with the fact it has meaning(s) other than those you care for which are still perfectly applicable in game. -

The last mission is what will give you problems since they're lvl 54 AV's, it's hard to reliably perma confuse them. Also, the towers don't give him mez protection I don't think, but one gives him a lot of defense, so you won't be able to even land the mez on him without taking that tower down.
The only way I can think of is to out range him to take out the towers, but even then you have the repairmen to worry about. Not to mention you won't be able to perma confuse him even if you manage to take down the towers since he has a ton of extra protection just like Statesman. -
You shouldn't ever solo +4 spawns, it's just not optimal. As far as purple drops go, your only concern is to kill as many enemies as you can as quickly as you can. So, for that I set my difficulty to 0/x8 with no bosses.
-
Any scrapper/brute, cold, and kin would be a good setup.
-
If you can manage to confuse Rom to kill the nictus', you shouldn't have a problem completing this. I think you can do it without any temps if you do.
-
Nice job. I found that once you would aggro the first AV, they would once in a while attack you even if you were at max range. Also, I had a problem with Numina at the end, she would stop attacking Statesman even though she was confused. Eventually she stayed attacking him long enough to take him down.
As far as the STF goes, I'm not sure if it's entirely possible with a Mind/Earth. Specifically LR, you won't be able to sleep him unless the defense tower is down. If you manage to somehow take the towers down, then yeah. Anyways, good luck with it. -
I'm not sure about most, but that's what I built my Dom for. Along with the S/L shield you can get Sleet, so I think the Ice and Fire epics are the best choices.
-
You can still achieve Permadom, even with the Dom buffs it's still the best way to build a Dom. With 3 slotted Hasten, you need about 70% recharge from set bonuses. Without Hasten, you need about 123% recharge from set bonuses.

Dark Melee complements Super Reflexes very well, a heal and endurance recovery power is good for a set that has neither.
Just taking a quick look, the build looks alright. However, I would definitely not take Elude since you're softcapped and you could drop Maneuvers also since you're softcapped without it, it just becomes a waste of endurance unless you were just using it to slot a LotG. I don't think you'll get much benefit of going over the softcap since you'll have capped DDR and all the -tohit stacking from your attacks and Darkest Night. Also, I don't have a DM character, but most people try to work in both damage and heal into Siphon Life, you might want to look into that. -
You don't need to have a power toggled on for the RR Unique to work. I have it slotted in BU and it's always on.
-
Why are you always bringing age into the argument? It has nothing to do with this. From what you posted earlier in this thread, no it doesn't seem like you know what you're talking about.
Why are you comparing Spirit Shark to a snipe? It has a 3 second cast time and the damage is delayed, it should hit hard. Although, I wouldn't be against changing it to only have a chance to crit from Hide.
Change the range of all Psi attacks to 40 ft? Are you kidding me, why would you do that? 80 ft is the standard for most blast attacks, why should Psi be any different? And I don't understand why you would increase the recharge on Will Dom by 6 times, it's a ST attack that has a sleep component.
You think Psi is OP'd, but if all of these nerfs that you suggested went through, then it would be severely underpowered. I don't see how that's fixing anything. -
This is against a lvl 53 Numina I'm assuming? What attacks are you using? When I faced Numina I had to use temp powers since I had no form of -regen, and even if you do there are not many attacks to use while keeping her confused.
-
You have to respec to take advantage of the change. So, if you don't want to take advantage of inherent fitness, then never respec your characters again.

SD/Fire is pretty good for a Tank, but it's still just a Tank. I haven't played mine after I got my Fire/SD Scrapper to 50 since it can do everything it can with more damage.
