  1. What kind of support was on the team? If there's an Emp and they're on their game, you shouldn't be dying much or at all. Since you're defense based, just make sure you're at 75% defense for Recluse and keep a bunch of oranges up.
  2. Sounds like a lot of fun. I'll help with whatever I can.
  3. The defense suppression should be removed from Stealth so it's more useful while in combat.

As it stands now, the Concealment pool is useless to me outside of PvP or LotG mules.
  4. The trick is how aggro works with confused targets. A confused target will focus attack on anything that does damage to it, for this reason I didn't use Mass Confusion. Instead, I just confused the AV that was going to do the killing (Numina and Mynx). Once they're confused they'll be attacking all of the AVs nearby, so you just need to also confuse the AV that you wish to get killed. They'll attack whoever has done damage to them and once they do, they become the focused target.

And yes, Numina does have enough DPS, she killed the entire Freedom Phalanx alone.

I'm still surprised that their regen doesn't outpace your damage of Blaze>Incinerate. And how does Valkyrie's REZ mess with things?

    Impressive work.
It involves a little more than just confusing an AV at random, there's a simple easy trick to get a confused target to concentrate on one target to take down. Valkyrie's rez/MoG isn't a problem, just have to kill her twice. I confused Mynx to take down the rest of the Vindicators.

You could probably pull it off with psi assault. The biggest problem you'd probably have is taking down Kronos since you'll just be dealing all psi damage.
  6. Well it is a manipulation of the level modifiers or whatever you call it. The level shift just uses the values of -1 level of the target you're facing and that allows you to do more damage, have a higher tohit chance and control durations last longer. A combination of increased damage and controls is what let me complete this. I've soloed a LRSF without a level shift before, but had to use temp powers in order to put out the necessary DPS while keeping Numina permaconfused.
  7. Yeah, I did exactly that, but it couldn't have been done without a level shift. The level shift allowed the confuse duration to last longer so I could get off more attacks in between applications. Still it probably took about a half an hour to defeat Numina using Confuse > Blaze > Incinerate.

    solo Master LRSF

    Good job sir.

I bet you're the only one who has ever done this.
  9. It still makes me smile every time I hit Fiery Embrace then Foot Stomp.
  10. If you're looking for the most inf/minute, +3/x8 with no bosses will get you the best results.
  11. Are you talking about getting permadom as early as possible while leveling up? I would have to mess around with a build to figure that out, but for exemping purposes, my Mind/Fire is permadom at lvl 22.
  12. Yeah, you don't need an emp. I've tanked LR on my Fire/SD Scrapper with just kin heals. Although, an emp is the best dedicated support toon you could get for it.

    XXP Results:

So far I've leveled a Claws/WP Stalker from 1-40 although DXP had nothing to do with it.
  14. I'm wondering what all the different TF's they're considering for the WST? I certainly don't want it to be all TF's in the game since I really don't wanna play through the terrible one's like Synapse.
  15. SS/Fire, Elec/Fire, Fire/Fire, and Claws/Fire all work good.

Yeah, if you want regular rewards, you'd be better off farming one of the popular farming missions. Otherwise, AE is superior for raw inf/xp gain, while regular content can net you more depending on the drops you get.
  17. The only secondary that I would absolutely choose Scrapper over Brute is Shield Defense, since softcapped, there survivability is close and the Scrapper can get more out of AAO and SC.

On the other end, I would choose SR, Elec, Fire, and Dark on a Brute over the Scrapper just for the fact the Brute gets a taunt aura. That just leaves WP and Invuln, in which I don't think it matters much which one you choose, other than the Brute will be more survivable for obvious reasons.
  18. HBD! It's a shame you couldn't get a Superbowl opportunity as a gift.
  19. I haven't tried my Spines/Fire in a while, but I know with my SS/Fire I usually get around 2 mil inf/min in AE, give or take.
  20. AE > DXP

    I'll be there at 10.

Not to mention that was a masters run. Although, since it was all Corrs it counts as cheating.

Now, some good examples that shatter the perception of needing a certain team makeup are the all Scrapper STF and all Brute LRSF I've done.

You probably won't notice much of a difference damage wise, however Brutes can leverage the damage auras you listed better since they have a taunt component to them.

I prefer to play those armor sets on a Brute because of that reason, while other sets like Shields is more fit for a Scrapper.
  23. The uncommon alpha boost resists the effects of ED by 1/3, like it says in the description. I don't see anyone saying that it's useless and not doing anything, Aquila said that most of it is subject to ED, which 2/3 is.
