So you're saying the level shift doesn't do anything against player enemies? I haven't had a chance to mess around with it myself.
-
Give Brutes Spines. After the fury changes, I don't think there's any reason not to. As for it affecting fury generation, say hi to Dark Armor.

Quote:That does not make it the 51st level. Going from 49 to 50 is not the same as going from 50 to 50 with a level shift. You are level 50 + 1 level = 51st level.
If you don't understand that the incarnate process is a new level cap process then you're probably willfully not wanting to acknowldge it, and there's no point dicussing it.
If you don't understand that, then you're probably willfully not wanting to acknowledge it, and there's no point discussing it. -

Quote:Maybe they don't wanna announce it until they're 100% sure it's going to be in the game. Withholding information about the ongoing development of a MMO isn't anything new. They already said they're investigating other options, be patient. If the restrictions the marketing department is putting on communications prevents the developers (or the marketing department) from verifying to their customers asking for a feature that said feature is in the works and will, eventually, be added, then the marketing department, whose job is to "sell" the company and the product to present and prospective customers, is failing at its function.
Customer says "I want X."
Salesman says "We'll have X pretty soon."
Marketing says "No! Don't say that!"
How does this scenario make sense to anyone? -
Quote:Why is expecting a solo option in i20 so hopeless and unreasonable?I just wanted to thank you for stating a reasonable expectation, rather than the hopeless optimism for i20 that has heretofore been espoused. If a solo option does come, it most certainly will be in a later issue or rushed out in a hot patch sort of fix like the WST (probably after i20, making it "i20.5", I guess.)

Scourge is the Corruptors inherent power in which it kicks in when a target is below 50% HP. Once a target is below 50% HP, every attack has a chance to scourge and do double damage, this chance increases the lower the targets HP gets.

Quote:I'd like this please. I don't see a downside if they implemented this.I do wish CoH had something that I recall Going Rogue had. Everyone on a team had a vote to skip a cutscene. If everyone voted to skip it, it would be skipped. If even one person didn't vote, it would play out normally. Voting was anonymous. This was great for allowing someone who wanted to see the cutscene, but if everyone was tired of it, they could bypass it.
Apologies if someone else already mentioned this, as I didn't read the whole thread before posting. Edit: I see they did. And I think feeling pressured by an anonymous vote is ... interesting. -
Fire/Dark and Fire/Rad. You get most of your good powers relatively early in both of those sets.
-
Yeah, you'll certainly notice a difference if you have around 30% defense. Like Silverado said, defense debuffs are the main problem. However, you can get more use out of purple inspirations and it will be easier to softcap. So, if you're good with using inspirations, defense debuffs aren't too big of an issue.

I've had aggro pulled off my Shield/Fire Tank before, even when I was spamming taunt. And I've pulled aggro off of Tanks with my Fire/Shield Scrapper. Shield Scrapper can steal aggro, even from Shield Tanks, just that if the Tank isn't bad, they'll be able to take it back.

Quote:It's funny he completely ignores Foot Stomp (which is the best attack), epic AoE, Fiery Embrace, and Blazing Aura. Not sure why do you think SS/Fire is Burn alone. Why would anyone mention a primary if that was the case?
Also, farming with a shield scrapper is super easy too, not to mention they're easier to play in the majority of the games content. Oh man I have to pop oranges or greens every so often, that's so hard!
Yes, for farming Burn isn't as good as it used to be. However, I like it better now. Needing an AoE immob to actually get use of the damage was a bad design for a damage power. -
Well, the problem is that it's such a late blooming combo. It really doesn't become a great soloer until you get FS.
Over the years Fire/Kins have been overhyped as farmers and also I think they're underhyped for team play. It really is great at level 50, all the goodies of kin while providing damage and controls. Not to mention that I think AoE immobs are underrated. -
Yeah, I've been trying to develop a strategy that involves something other than a Mind Dom. Even with the towers down, you can't permahold or permaconfuse Recluse and while they are up, you won't be able to sleep him.

Well, we both had to reform it once for different reasons, but Kahlan completed it first. Although, it was odd, since we both completed it within 10-15 minutes of each other.

Quote:Cause threatening to quit the game always works. Yes, now is the time to give feedback and I'm sure the devs are listening, but I think it's too early to call doom.It seems very unlikely to come any time soon.
But hey maybe it will, along with the blood of the black stream, avians, customizable granite armor, redone VEAT arcs, and all those other things they were "investigating".
Sorry. You can't keep my sub on hopes and wishes. If they said "We're working on something." I sure wouldn't complain. It's the whole "eh, maybe, but this IS an MMo, so...."
But hey, I'm sure the devs don't need to keep subs.
Once i20 comes along and there's still no word or sign a solo option is coming, then I'd start to worry. -
-
No, I only kept one AV perma confused. The other AV I confuse while the purple triangles are down so they can land at least one attack.

They changed next weeks WST to Kahn/Barracuda?
