  1. Some other things I like that might have already been said are PvP IO's and that epic shields and Tough gives resistance to all damage types.

Also you can click the glowie once the 2 boxes are broken and there is no indication that all the ambushes were killed.
Define what attacking is? Really? I jumped in the middle of the mob, reset herostats then proceeded to attack. It was at +4/x8 with no bosses, what else would I put it at for solo farming?

I ran it again and I got a little closer to the 2 minute mark. And yes I cleared all the ambushes, I don't click the glowie until everythings dead.
  3. I like the idea behind DR and how it could potentially help balance things. The actual implementation, not so much.
  4. I just ran the farm you listed with my SS/Fire/Soul in 1:48 yielding about 3 mil inf/minute. I started the clock as soon as I started attacking.

I guess I will miss this event too. I hate having a EU account.
The devs are aware that the character copy tool isn't working and are in the process of fixing it.
  6. You need at least 70% global recharge with 3 slotted Hasten. You could probably stack Domination once as you are now, but since Hasten isn't always up, it won't be perma.

    Ss/fa?

If your Brute is solely for farming, then no I wouldn't go with Soul Mastery. However, if you do other things with it, then Soul Mastery is excellent. Although, my SS/Fire/Soul can still rake in 2 mil inf/minute without using inspirations.

    solo stf

    Pfft not a masters run?

    j/k. You're the man!

I was thinking about making a ill/cold a few weeks ago, you're making this decision too easy lol.
  9. SS/WP is a good choice and works well with Gloom unlike weapon sets which causes redraw.

    Ss/fa

Slotting for fire defense is a waste when you have capped resistance. If you want to get defense, I'd go with S/L so it's better for other stuff.

What are you talking about? Throw Spines shouldn't be skipped. It has the fastest animation time out of all your AoE's from your primary/secondary.

There is an option in the settings to allow multiple instances of a game to be launched.

    Ss/fa?

SS: Punch, Haymaker, KO Blow, Rage, Foot Stomp. Everything else is skippable, but taunt can be useful if that's your thing.

FA: Fire Shield, Blazing Aura, Plasma Shield, Healing Flames, Consume, Burn, Fiery Embrace. Temp Protection and RotP are skippable, but they can be useful.

Dark Melee will never be a top farming choice. Not saying you can't farm with it, but you won't be beating any competent SS/Fire.

Maybe because Spin is only 8' radius, but rech and damage are really that good. And now eviscerate can hit 3-5 target with not much difficulty.
I do very well with my claws/elec, but must admit that it's lot's more active playstyle than ss/fire for ex.
Claws is pretty good and can potentially put out more damage than SS, however when I was comparing them, it didn't work out like so, the radius made a difference. I was using FU + Spin + Eviscerate and FS + Rage. However, I'm not sure how Elec Fences + Shockwave would do or if it's just still not worth it.

I ran a Spines/Fire for a while. Back with the original ambush farms it actually put out slightly better numbers than the SS/Fire. However, with that farm, the mobs were so tightly packed together and they didn't scatter at all. In that same farm I used a Fire/MM Blaster too which put out even better numbers. Now, the ambush farms are different and you have to deal with some scatter.

I don't remember right now, but if I haven't already stripped my Spines/Fire I'll do a few runs with it. The last times I tested it, it wasn't as good as my Brute.
  15. I was saying that from experience, my Spines/Fire doesn't compare to my SS/Fire. Blasters and Corruptors have to deal with scatter as do most Scrappers. Controllers can be alright, I used to run a Fire/Kin, but they're definitely not the fastest. Fire/Psi Doms can be good too, but again they're not as good as they once were.
  16. Scrappers without taunt aura's aren't going to beat Brutes. The only farming build Scrappers have the edge on Brutes is Shields.

Blasters can potentially put out more damage than Brutes, but the issue is keeping mobs together to maximize your AoE's. This makes taunts and immobs invaluable.

You need about 180%-185% global recharge to get a 10 second overlap with Domination, so I'm sure you're maxing out purple sets.

Regardless if it's softcapped or not, with Hasten you can save slotting for 70% recharge and go after other set bonuses instead.
  18. Buds is awesome.

Maybe I'll see you around in some other game sometime.

Old Burn worked like that too, except all of it's damage was in the form of DoT. But yeah, I understand what you're saying.

I don't think there's been post level shift numbers posted, so for reference I'm getting 2435k inf per minute in a +4/x8 fire ambush on my SS/Fire/Mu. Seeing as I'm getting a ~60% improvement on most alts, I'm thinking it's nowhere near the absolute high end - i.e. Fiery Enforcer said he did 2M pre level shift, that could be over 3M post level shift.
I tested out my Brute with the level shift, however I'm running a Soul Mastery build now, but I managed to get 2 mil/minute without inspirations. With inspirations I was getting anywhere between 2.6-2.8. I'm sure with a Mu Mastery build I'd be able to break 3 mil.
  21. To me it is, along with Super Speed and Combat Jumping.

  23. Nice job.

You encouraged me to try this with my SS/Fire/Soul Brute and I completed it in just over an hour. Rom is such a wimp.
