I was using the hall of fame one with with 999+ votes. And that 8.2 mil inf was with no bosses, just so there's no confusion.
-
Nice job, makes me wanna try this with my SS/Fire if I ever have the time.
-
All I'm saying is given your time, those inf/minute gains are impossible, unless you're magically killing more mobs in the same time. I've done a few runs and counted the inf gain each time, which was between 8.2-8.3 mil.
-
Doesn't that make BFG super ******* fat?
-
Regardless, Claws/Fire is better than Elec/SD for ambush farming. Next...
Also, while 2.7/min is good, you should really calculate that at the end of the run rather than only 1 minute in as it usually fluctuates a bit throughout. Looking at that screenshot made me laugh thinking about when you said attack radius didn't matter.
Edit: I just ran that Fire Cyborg map for the first time, mobs are way too spread out for my likes. Took me 3:26 on my SS/Fire/Soul. Herostats shows that one run yields about 8.2 mil, which comes out to about 2.38 mil/min for the entire run. So, assuming that 3:42 time is correct, the 2.7 mil/min isn't an accurate representation of the entire run, it's more like 2.21/min. -

Did you miss the part that those "around 3 minute" times were on a different map?

Quote:To kill a GM, you need at least 300 DPS I think it is.If you mean no insp/temps, all you need to solo an AV/GM/Pylon are: ability to survive, usually through high defense for squishies; enough DPS (a 100 or so?); and enough recovery to maintain your attack chain. Some sort of heal is likely necessary too if your regen isn't high enough.
-
Build for strictly recharge if this is for AE farming. That means pickup Hasten and slot your ST attacks for set bonuses. Also, go either Mu or Pyre Mastery.
-
You really don't need to reach the softcap if you're going to sacrifice too much for it. On teams there will likely be some sort of defense buffs or other buffs that it won't matter and while solo you'll have plenty of inspirations to use.
-
If you wanna go with a Corr, I suggest a Fire/Rad or Fire/Traps.
-
I wouldn't slot the Armageddon proc in a damage aura unless you don't have any other PBAoE's and have a slot to spare.
-
No, they are right for various reasons which have already been discussed in this thread.
FSC has a smaller radius than FS. Scrappers don't have a taunt aura in Blazing Aura like Brutes do. Mu Mastery is better than Fire Mastery for farming, Scrappers don't get Elec Fences in their version. Brutes have a higher res cap, though that doesn't really matter much.
Also no, don't stack Rage, people who do are bad, especially with the amount of inspirations you can use. Heck, I don't even use Rage most of the time. -
My strategy for speed TF's is for everyone to bring whatever they want and run it as fast as we can. I think having team restrictions for such an easy game is silly, unless your only objective is to break records.
-
Quote:I know who would speed TF's with incarnate stuff out? It's not like shards drop on speed runs and of course everyone runs lvl 50 content solely for shards. What with needing shards I figure bragging about how fast you can run an ITF is like bragging about how fast you can have sex.
With the incarnate stuff out why would anyone want to do a speed ITF? Barring of course that it might be the WST and you want to cycle as many toons through it as possible. or it is late at night and you need to get to sleep. -
Nice job on the times, got you beat on the LGTF. Looking back at the team makeup for it, I'd say it was a less than optimal team, only had one debuffer.
I haven't been running TF's much anymore or with all the same people. Makes me wonder what times we can get with all the level shifts now. -
Yeah, like ultrawatt said, it depends how much you're willing to invest in the build. SS/Fire can be built to be pretty sturdy (I've soloed a MoITF with mine), but not as sturdy as other secondaries with the same investment.
-
You really only need 70% global recharge with 3 slotted Hasten. However, if you don't use Hasten and Domination as soon as they're recharged, it's likely you'll lose Domination.
-
Well, it sounds like they use their Brute just for farming so that shouldn't be a problem. Personally, I use keybinds that are only used to combine and use red inspirations and nothing else.
-
To be fair, I had to play in those matches and I'm bad.

My Fire/Rad is softcapped to ranged with CJ and Hover. I built it for ranged defense so I can solo GM's and other stuff. Ranged defense is nice, but it really limits your slotting when compared to S/L defense. Slotting all those Thunderstrikes is gross.
