You're right about Psi/EM, but as far as the build goes, you don't want anything like that for PvP.
Here's what I use:

I'll try to make it again with my Fire/Rad Corr.

Quote:You can say that for just about any content in the game, so I don't see a point here.See, this is what I hate about all the new content we've been getting lately since GR. Skyway is NOT destroyed, I assure you, it's perfectly fine. I just took a flight around there and it's looking just like it always does. Same for Kings and Steel. All places wrecked by this "war" we're apparently in with the Praetorians.
Until such time as we SEE all of this happeing in the world zones, it isn't happening. It's completely ridiculous to go in to a mission, see a large area of a game zone totally wrecked, and then when you come out it's all perfectly fine.
It utterly destroys any kind of immersion or continuity, and tears the 4th wall down whilst mooning the players. -

Quote:I've also had a Claws/Dark for a couple years, it's pretty fun to play and is strong. I went with two different builds, a defensive build for all around play and a max HP/rech build for tanking Hami.I've got a Claws/Dark Armor that's turning into an absolute beast. He's level 47 and has about a third of the sets I want for him. When he's finished, I'll update his build thread.
Don't think I've seen anyone else with one, besides Dechs. -
Unless they changed things very recently, you're mistaken. The TF automatically drops if there's only one player remaining.
-
Well, Soul Tentacles is garbage, but if you're using ST attacks, you should be using Gloom. It's THAT good.
-
Speed Boost and Siphon Speed are the same thing? That's good to know.

Quote:If you're level shifted, +4/x8 is the best as far as inf/min goes. While +3/x8 is the best for tickets/min.Fighting +4 critters is overrated. From what I can tell, the damage penalty you incur for attacking critters that high is greater than the xp bonus you get for defeating them. You do half damage and get 50% more xp. You would need 100% more xp bonus to make it worth it.
Being level-shifted is the only way to improve your farming against +4's. No amount of purples or PvP sets will change that. -
I ran 2 trials with my Sonic/Cold Corr. Got a very rare and uncommon.
-
If that's the case, I'm thinking the time limit is 30 minutes since that was around the time we "failed" it.
However, I've heard of a team completing it with only 4 or 5 people. Makes me wonder if there's another minimum amount of players that must stay on rather than just for starting it. Since it wouldn't be fair if one person dropped from a league of 8 in the beginning, causing the trial to fail. -
I'm sure he used inspirations. When I did this on my SS/Fire I could survive most parts with keeping one purple up and using two for the tougher parts. Just had to watch out for defense failure.
Anyways gratz! It's pretty fun to do. -
Is it possible to fail a Lambda trial during one of the non-timed phases? I'm asking this because last night, my friend and I tried to duo a Lambda trial. We got friends to fill an 8 person league to get it started and once we all zoned, the fillers quit the trial.
Everything seemed fine, we preceded to kill everything in the streets and then cleared the courtyard. It wasn't until we were almost finished destroying all of the turrets when a message appeared on the screen. It came up quickly so I don't remember exactly what it said, but it said something to the extent of "all players defeated," and then the remaining turrets disappeared and the mission complete button came up like we failed the trial.
The thing is I never died once, so at no point were all players defeated. There are a couple of things I'm thinking that could have happened. Is it possible there's some secret timer for the beginning phases? We were probably about a half hour into it when this happened. Or maybe it's the fact that there were only two players remaining on the map? I really don't know since the fillers quit at the start of the trial so we were at 2 players the entire time. If that was the reason, I would think that we would have "failed" the trial as soon as they all quit.
So, I'm just trying to figure out what exactly happened because we'd like to try to attempt this again. -
So you're set on being mediocre? I don't think anyone expects a Kin to SB the entire league, but you should still SB the team you're on at least with some exceptions like during the prisoner phase in BAF.
-
Well we know there are the underground Hami and Anti-Matter trials coming, with more trials and incarnate slots in the works most likely. Now, whether they'll release those two trials in i21 or as an i20.5 is the question.
As far as everything else goes, your guess is as good as anyone's else. -
I'm glad people picked up how to do these quickly. I was forced to lead about 6 trials the first day when I hate leading stuff.
-
Yeah, in that case, the Brutes/Scrappers/Tanks weren't doing a good job at holding aggro. Once in a while I'll get hit with a warning, that's understandable. I've even gotten hit with 2 warnings once on a squishy, but the third time? That's when I'll start blaming other people.
-
You can change me to my Sonic/Cold. Forgot I brought my Fire/Rad heroside and don't think I'll have time to change alignments.
-
I'm going to send you angry in-game PM's regarding your guide.
-
I'll take all of the "useless" buffers over the abundance of lolmelee that's on most trials.
-
What's everyone doing in Pocket D that you're worrying about lag?
-
Like it's already been said, regular runs are better for gaining incarnate xp. Otherwise, if you have the time for multiple trials, speed runs will be better due to the increased astral and empyrean merits and components.
