  1. Do you have Domination on auto? If so it's likely the zoning bug, sometimes auto powers won't go off after you zone.

  3. Yeah, generally 1 purple is fine, but technically I don't need any. Can get by without any inspirations, but then you actually have to use Healing Flames.

    As far as KoB goes, even on my SS/Fire/Soul I'm not going to spend 2.37 seconds to damage 1 target. Once in a while I'll fire off Gloom.
  4. You should not be using KO Blow while farming, if you're going for efficiency that is.
  5. Umm...why are people talking like it has to be Champion OR the VIP server? You do know you can play on multiple servers and still talk to and play with the cool people you've met?

    Except it wasn't out of context.

    It seems you are confused like usual. Your edited "fix" to his quote doesn't make sense for what he was talking about. That might be correct about the current PvP situation.

    The fact is, they did the exact opposite of what Posi said in the quote with i13. They tried to bring in "new blood" with no regards to the current PvP'ers and obviously didn't care about losing them.
  8. Oh no doubt it's not the strongest out of the box, but it's certainly not bad like people claim. Also, I was more replying to Haetron as they also mention Elec Armor.

    Once you bring IO's into the mix it simply becomes amazing and you can pretty much do anything with it from tanking hami and regular content.

    Just like how people always said SS/Fire was good for nothing but farming.
  10. Yeah, go Soul Mastery for Gloom and Dark Obliteration, Darkest Night too if you have a power pick since you really only need like 2 slots for it.

    I'd build for S/L defense, like others said aim for around 32.5%. After that build for recharge and +HP. Instead of slotting Aegis, go with Titanium Coating for the HP bonuses. It's really nice having 2k + HP plus a decent amount of defense and a lot of recharge.

    Also, what's your budget? Can make use of purple sets to get your recharge up if it's not too expensive for you.

    SS/Fire.. :)

    That build will work, but I would forget about building for fire defense unless it's with a recharge set bonus. Don't know why some people build for it when you have capped resistance. The recharge is definitely sufficient, but I'd try to pack as much as you can in there and forget about every other set bonus.

    Also, go Mu Mastery for an extra AoE. Since it's just for farming, there's no reason you shouldn't.

    I've personally soloed a MoITF in under an hour before all the new shiny incarnate powers with mine, along with others. Iggy managed to solo a STF with his.

    It won't be as tough as other secondaries, but both the ST and AoE damage is excellent. If you don't mind using inspirations against tougher AV's then it's a good choice. Add one buffer/debuffer in the mix and most everything becomes a complete joke.
  17. What type of farm are you doing and are you level shifted? If you're AE farming, you shouldn't have a problem fighting enemies that do fire damage. Even doing something like Liberate TV, you shouldn't need to rely on that many purples, maybe try bringing it down to 53 if you're not level shifted.

    You can always post your build for feedback on it, you'll want to go either Mu or Pyre Mastery for farming, more AoE is always good.

    And yes, Brutes have the same defense and resistance numbers, but they have a higher base HP, HP cap and resistance cap.

  20. The new FE adds extra fire damage to every attack, which supposedly equates to about 45%.

    It really depends on what map and if you're fighting bosses or not. On the Fuzzy Kittens map I can pretty much stay damage capped or close to it when I'm not fighting bosses.

    If I'm PL'ing or something, I have no choice but to fight bosses so I can't stay capped the entire time. This is when I use Rage, when I'm solo, I don't.

    I would go Mace Mastery for the softcapped defense. If you don't really care for that, then I'd go Dark Mastery for Soul Drain for some extra damage. Colds don't really get that much out of Power Build Up
