Quote:I do agree with this, however this isn't a good argument. Do I have to tell you why?As long as Brutes and Scrappers are buffed, healed a protected by their team and keep their same damage, and as long as their survivability is more than enough to survive solo and continue doing superior damage, there's no reason to play a Tanker ever again.
An AT shouldn't be balanced around teaming with other AT's. Using your argument I could say why play a Brute or Scrapper when you can have a full team of Corruptors?
Also, you shouldn't have to be told this, but the AT's aren't balanced around IO's either. -

I did the same, started reading the books when the show was almost over. It's a great read even with knowing what happens. Now I just picture the characters from the show in my head while reading.

Quote:What farm are you talking about? I didn't mention any.Ok that is not true, I did that farm once, ONCE, on my fire/fire tank, and my friend did it on there ss/fire brute. Guess who did most of the killing? My tank yes my tank did most of the killing and I also out damaged him in most of it.
And yes, that is true. A Fire/Fire Tank will not outdamage a SS/Fire Brute. -
If I can use free transfers I'm definitely in. Will have to wait till next issue for that.

Quote:No, it's not. Not at all.Really if you want to farm, go with a Fire/Kin controller. That's the standard for farming currently. Fire/Kin/Fire with Fireball.
If you don't mind making a different charcter, roll a SS/Fire Brute, there's nothing better.
Otherwise, you can stick with the Fire/SS and still do pretty well. There are a ton of SS/Fire builds over in the Brute forums. You can take a look at them because it'll basically be the same build as a Tank. -
Quote:Like others said, it's totally up to you to watch it or not. I'd say to at least watch the first episode to see if interests you.I'm sure they're very interesting characters, but obviously Tyrion being awesome or the others have zero meaning to me.
I admit I'm struggling for a hook here, really. It could be that I wind up coming to this series after it's been on like friends of mine did after I'd watched two seasons of Babylon Five and raved on about it and they went 'oh hey, you're right!'
S.
Personally, I think the series is excellent. All of the characters are fleshed out really well and it makes you really feel for them and really hate some others.
What I really like is there are no good or bad people for the most part, it's all in the viewpoint of the different characters. -
I picked this up earlier in the week, but I have to wait till I finish the others to start on it. Currently reading A Storm of Swords and I think the series has been excellent so far.

By removing TS and HD, you expect them to remove inherent fitness on the same grounds? What?

You need moar recharge.
Here's a better farming build, perhaps near the most optimal. It has over 60% more recharge. And no I don't have this slotted so I'm not posting any times.

Well, I tested this a while back with the proc in Foot Stomp. I was able to get the proc to go off 3 times in a row for the full effect.
-
-
I'd hardly call a post from 2009 anything, but concrete.
-
Like others said, it's because you don't have a taunt aura. Enemies don't run from my SS/Fire Brute.
-
Quote:There's no suppression for the proc, or if there is it's less than 5 seconds.IIRC there was (or is) a suppresion of ten seconds after the proc got nerfed, so after the 5 seconds of 100% rech you had to wait 10 secs for it to be able to function again.
I'll add rech bonuses to my recently PL'ed farming broot but I can say that in ambush farms it didn't show up everytime I used footstomp at the aggro cap, in fact it seemed less than half the times (the Howling Twilight icon that indicates the proc activated, but I'll monitor the rech bonus to watch it more closely)
As for what the bug was for the proc previously, I thought it was that it had a 100% chance to go off. -
Soul Mastery. If you're taking the cone don't, it's terrible. Gloom, Dark Obliteration, and Darkest Night are awesome. Mu is better for farming though.
-
Why are uncommons more common than commons?
That has been my experience too. -
Yes, it's better. You get 7.5% recharge and 1.5% HP, which are both valuable set bonuses to Fiery Aura. Although, the proc is garbage and you can skip it and slot something else in its place if you don't care about the 6% heal enhancement.

I just typed out a long post and then the forums decided to log me out before I submitted.
Basically, heal decay and travel suppression were suppose to help balance things and have failed horribly at that. If you can out heal incoming damage, you should be able to out heal it, plain and simple. Travel suppression on the other hand was suppose to help out melee characters, which it doesn't. Without any suppression players are chasing after each other at the same speed (granted they have the same travel powers). Now, with suppression, they're still chasing after each other at the same speed, just a lot slower.
Removing these two things from the zones would go a long way in making zone PvP more enjoyable. The mechanic is already available for the arena, I doubt it would take any significant development time to change this for the zones. -
