Okay; I've got yet another variation that worked:

Talked to Ansaldo as soon as I could (initially he would not talk to me and I got the "too busy" message). The Diviner Maros would NEVER talk to me (always gave the "too busy" message, no matter when I tried to speak to him); so I had no option of "alternating" the side contacts.

But the radio showed up just as it should and I used it...no problems getting both badges. One thing to note is that in the mission when you have to kill Ansaldo's kid brother; I accidentally completed the mission because I missed him on the first pass; but I guess I got credit for it because I went back and found him.

Also; on the last mission does anyone think that the Legacy lieutenants will count toward the gladiator? Cause I'm thinking...lots and lots of lieutenants..that CANNOT damage you...I'm all over that!

I know there is not a way to track if they are counting or not; what does everyone think?

Sorry if this is redundant but have searched for more information on getting the Arena badges; and the info that I've been able to find seems to be out of date. Anyway,

1. I had read that you could obtain "Arena Survivalist" in a 1 vs. 1 match set to "Battle Royal" mode. My problem is that when setting up these matches I do not see "Battle Royal" as an option anywhere under any of the drop-downs. Am I blind and am just not looking in the right place; or has the interfaced changed; or what? If "Battle Royal" is not an available option anymore for match set up then how do you get this badge?

2. I had also read that you could obtain "Pentad/Septad" badge in a 1 vs. 1 setup (was this a bug and this was supposed to be a team-only thing?) as long as the 2 AT's fighting were the same. I set this match up and fought another scrapper on my 2nd account and no badge awarded. Again; I saw no option on the setup screen to indicate Pentad or Septad...just Duel or Swiss Draw.

3. I have been able to get all the Weight Class badges using 2 accounts and setting up duels.

4. I know that for the "Tournament" badge you must use the Swiss Draw interface and that it is buggy and sometimes unreliable-is this still the case?

I'm on Virtue and currently redside; if anyone else feels like going for this badge and dealing with the frustration....

Any additional info/instructions about questions 1 or 2 would be much appreciated-thanks!
