Ummmm, no on the AOW member on each team, the contact has a password at the end and the team leader will send me a tell giving me the password to indicate they have completed the mission. The event is to get ppl to work together on 8 man teams but if 6 works better for you or 1 then so be it. This is a speed event so we will not slow them down, we want the teams to be at their best.

There has been a question as to why we announced this so early....this is so teams (vets) can have fun trying new team make-ups and builds and have fun figuring out what works best for them. This also allows people time to build up their favorite character with IO's, Accolades, and Temp Powers. Also this allows NEW people the chance to learn and compete with the big boys.

Thank you Dave, other events scheduled for the 13th are 50 Million CC with 3 categories (main event grand prize 50 million), (best under level 20 for 25 million), and (best bio for 25 million). there will be a 50 Million PvP Event and a 50 Million Gladiator Tournament. As with all AOW events there will be prizes for top 10 finishers. Times for these events will be added soon in this thread and at (all-out-war.guildportal.com).

The CC is going to replace the regularly scheduled Monthly CC. This means instead of the first sat. of the month this one will be held on the 13th for the month of December, then after this event starting in January first sat. of each month the event will become the AOW MONTHLY 50 MILLION CC instead of 25 Million which we currently hold each month.

Also we will add a RWZ RAID (Rikti Mothership Raid) and a Hami-Raid to round out the days events.

For sunday Dec. 14th we will hold an all day GM Hunt.

Let me clarify that Cat (good point), all AOW Events list the Grand Prize, so second place finishers will be getting up to 4 Billion, 3rd place 2 Billion, 4th place 1 Billion, but 5-10th place will get up to 500 Million.

AOW as a sg already banks a lot of our drops and infl. to help each other and support events so we already have the prize money for this event, it will go on and we hope you all come out and enjoy yourselves.

Since it is on our anniversary we will be also holding other events as well, but this is the main event.

AOW members may compete except for the 2 hosts William Alexander (The Founder) and Felecia Divine (Coalition Manager).

I have been in contact with people from overseas including Iraq. Most notably i have a friend who is stationed in South Korea of all places. There is no guarantee you will get a connection or computer access but if you do please stay in touch. You have made many friends here and we will be awaiting your return. (So, YES, in some areas you can get a clear connection).

In an effort to make Champion the most fun server to be on, ALL-OUT-WAR (AOW) has issued the following challenge:

Dec. 13th is the ALL-OUT-WAR 2nd yr. anniversary. At 7PM EST AOW will be hosting a team oriented event.

A special AE mission will be set up and the fastest team to get through it will win! There will be prizes for the top 10 teams that finish fast. The prizes are based on how many are on the team. Base amount for 1 person is 300 Million plus 100 Million for additional hero. This means if there is 1 person you get 300 Million, 2 people get 400 Million each, etc., so 8 people get 1 Billion each.

Now the catch: All members on the team MUST be from your sg or divisions of your sg. This means United Legends Brigade may team with United Heroes Brigade. Your sg may bring more than one team to the competition.

Use ALL available resources, this is a great time to teach and learn about IO's, Temp Powers, and Accolades. Try different character builds in a team and find your group of friends and power sets that best work for you.

All teams must pre-register before 5PM EST on Saturday Dec. 13th/09

I am tweaking the 4th and final episode of Illicit Affair series:

Freedom (ID 303496): Free the Freedom Phalanx and yourselves from the grip of Illicit Affair and Dragon The Destroyer, Custom Characters and 2 AV's. So far it can be done in 20 minutes but i am looking for a better map. Lvl 45+.

I also have a fun story The Divine Ones (ID 304262). The story is: Felecia Divine has been trolling the multiverse and has come across a very evil counterpart Abyssal Dream whose goal is to bring peace and quiet by ending existance. Felecia has brought together several alternate dimensional selves to help face Abyssal. Can you help her save the multiverse?

This is a very dark apocalyptic story with a very gloomy (atmospheric) group of custom characters and 1 AV with lots of surprises!

The Divine Ones can be run in under an hour and all the support you need is already in the mission, you just have to look for them. No auto-sk and no preset level range.

If you love AV's, a fun storyline, and a challenge for solo or teams then try:

Illicit Affair (ID 39278): 5 Missions (1 1/2 hours): 6 AV's and an EB: Arachnos, Arachnoids, Rikti, Rogue Arachnos and Circle of Thorns. Made for lvl 45+. Best to run this on tenacious with 4 lvl 50's with 4 sk's for a great time. These are not auto-sk's. Still gives good prestige, xp and infl.

Dragon The Destroyer (ID 184844): 5 Missions (1 1/2 hours): 5 AV's and an EB: Crey, Paragon Protectors, Vanguard Shield, Vanguard Sword and Longbow.

Forging An Empire (ID 239837): 1 Mission (1 1/2 hours): 1 EB : Custom: This is best run on heroic unless you found the other 2 episodes easy. It is more difficult than Illicit Affair.

The final episode will be written this weekend as well as a new trilogy and a stand alone arc.

Leave an sg - Click Super on top of your chat box, then bottom right click Quit.

Starting out try UHB Channel. If you want to do Task Forces and Monster Hunts try BMT. If you want AE Story Arcs try Champion MA Channel. You have to find someone to get you an invite to these specialty channels.

Big sg's, there are some really good ones, i recommend United Heroes Brigade (UHB), Hammers of Justice (HoJ), or ALL-OUT-WAR (AOW). How to find a member is easy - use the little "r" for request channel on the bottom of your chat area, or stand in atlas and use broadcast, there are good odds there will always be someone there from any of these 3 sg's.

If your mainly into PvP then ask a Pingu or Protector of Neverland (PoN), i dont like these sg's but thats because i am not big on PvP (Player vs Player) but these guys are extremely good at what they do.

Now you asked the question what did i use as a guide when i started? The answer is
i10 Fire/Storm Controller Guide by Eldandil, it is old since we are in i15 but almost all of it is a level by level guide to what you can find as temp powers and badges, most of which is still correct, i still recommend looking in the Guides section and checking things out here in the Forums!

I have had that pointed out in my arcs as well Gideon and you are absolutely right, i will be adding more FLAVOR to the arcs. This is good feedback, it is much appreciated.

First Monday i have had off in awhile, glad to be on a team with you guys, i had a blast. Amy had to leave after the second story and Tara took over. We had fewer ppl but ran just fine.

I have to work the next few mondays but when i can switch shifts i will definately be there for this event! Thanks to all who participated and SPECIAL thanks to our host AMYGDALA!

Just as a reminder, please remember to leave feedback, and if your doing mine i appreciate honesty and your own ideas for improvements. My first TEST Server arc i even created a villian just for someone who thought of a great character to add. YOUR opinions DO matter!

As time goes on many features will be tried and if they dont work will be pulled. The Devs are always trying new and innovating ideas and it is easy to go to far then have to try another approach, we saw this with the MA system, we are seeing it now with going Rogue being temporarily replaced with Spectrum.

I have also been assured CoP is on the backburner but not forgotten. They have many ideas that have been constantly asked for by players. The devs will try everything and give us the best ones they can in the short span they have to work on it. It is not easy to appease over 180,000 people.

Overall This game has received far more constant attention by the Devs than other MMORPG's and i still call CHAMPION Server HOME! My apartment is on the top floor of the VDO building looking out over Atlas Park, the view is great

Thanks to all those who tried my arc, the feedback was great.

Some of you noted the dialogue needs work and i will work on it. I am not overly familiar with the way some of the main AV's and EB's should talk like but i will do my homework and make them sound better, as well as tweak bio's. This is the kind of feedback that helps make a story better, THANK YOU!

I agree with Largo, i have tried alot of different builds but my main is Dark Defender, it is the jack/jill of all trades. I can heal, rez, debuff, lockdown, and damage. Other builds will do each of these better but Dark Defender is the most well rounded.

My favs are defenders (dark) and warshades, and for redside masterminds (force/robot).

While buying and selling items (clearing your items from your inventory) keep an eye out for trends. About 3 weeks ago i noticed Numina recipes were selling 5 Mill, i thought that is crazy, so i bought them, made them, went back and sold the enhancements for 100 mill each (about the price it is now). Cost to make 10 mill, sold 100 mill, profit 90 mill
i sold 6 yes i am lazy too but........win! win!
Yes a week later the recipes went back up. I dont go looking for bargains but if i see them......

I agree we need in-game servants, let's petition the Devs.

If Kat wants to stick to her origional idea there is no problem with that, i was just making a proposal to allow her to choose her own AV.
She is stuck with Chimera because that is the easiest one to find.
Schismatrix posted at the same time i did and did not see my above post. I answered his questions about timing the event and cheating.

Oops, your right about the AV if it is custom made but if the AV is a preset at lvl 54 such as Lord Recluse it would still work.

As for cheating since we all enter at the same time it would be kind of hard for someone to give another person the password and who would want to lose and give the password to someone else anyways? Yes, someone could try to add a teammate to cheat but Kat can just use Find and see if the person is solo'ing. The persons name turns grey if they are on a team.

Kat would have to choose the AV and Password just before we start because ppl could test her story in advance to get ahead of the others. But she could make the story early.

Ummmmmm, if this was held in RWZ in the AE building you could expand to include redside, but the problem becomes getting the prize money.

These are just suggestions, this is Kat's Event, her rules.

As for temp powers, Sonic is correct, i am not aware of any no powers option in AE. But on the opposite end of that is the probability of people showing they have knowledge on what temp powers to use and when to speed things up.

For a real test to wear out the person from using temp powers is the option Kat can just make a Guantlet.....Small map, appropriate guards and an AV in the back end to get to. Fastest mission time wins!

Hmmm thinking about it now Kat can make her own custom AV - CRITICAL KAT, and her hordes of Sonic henchmen (yes, i am poking fun at Sonic or her horde of KATZ! AE has so many possibilities!

Ok, i misunderstood i was thinking Arachnos AV's....nasty.... i can see doing Praetorians without Temp Powers.

I agree on the AE approach then CriticalKat can surprise us with any AV she deems appropriate.

Also Kat can set the AV to drop a password as he/she is defeated to let Kat know the person actually completed the mission, so there does not need to be a witness.

This will make a true race we can all run at the same time making the event take a lot less time!

Small map, 1 AV located in the Front section, with appropriate guards. I recommend Heroic so no one can cheat since we are all on the lowest setting, have the AV set at lvl 54 with a surrounding bodyguard.

First person through and gives Kat the password from the AV Wins!

Not everyone has an uber-scrapper...............................
This means Temp Powers should be allowed!

As for spawning and having witnesses it should not matter if 8 ppl spawn the mission as long as each mission for it is the same size of ppl to start and the one fighting through it or just the AV does it without help from the other ppl on the team. The others are there just to watch the show.

I have no problem backing my words up......i just dont answer to ppl who insult and dont help others!
